In this episode of The Leader's Table Podcast, host Diana Murphy lays out the "dirty secret" of transformational growth for business owners and leaders: real change is often confusing, disorienting, and guaranteed to bring strong emotions, not just excitement.  She argues emotions aren't good or bad, and that resisting grief, anxiety, fear, anger, or disappointment can block not only growth but also access to joy and wisdom. Drawing from her experience navigating divorce and coaching clients, she explains that learning to engage emotions as a portal—not an obstacle—builds self-awareness, agency, groundedness, and clearer decision-making.  Diana contrasts this with her past patterns of worry, procrastination, and toxic positivity, and offers reflective questions and practices like slowing down, noticing the body and breath, getting curious without judgment, and letting emotional energy move.   00:00 The Dirty Secret of Growth 01:07 Transformation Feels Messy 02:42 Emotions as a Portal 05:49 Old Patterns and Burnout 08:04 Coaching Shift to Allowing 09:19 Emotions Are Energy in Motion 10:27 Questions to Get Curious 12:25 Let It Move Find Wisdom 14:27 Closing and Share the Episode   Diana supports leaders like you who are wholeheartedly invested in their leadership and personal growth. You can build a wildly successful business… and still feel exhausted, confused, or stuck in the same relationship patterns you swore you were done with. In this episode of How to Be Happier for Entrepreneurs, we explore the hidden link between your relationships and your leadership — and why the patterns you repeat at home quietly shape your boundaries, burnout, decision-making, and growth at work. This conversation goes far beyond dating advice or surface-level mindset shifts. It dives into nervous system wiring, childhood conditioning, and identity patterns that drive both how you love and how you lead. You'll learn why chemistry isn't always connection, why familiar doesn't mean healthy, and how your attachment style becomes your leadership style. We'll break down the three most common relationship patterns entrepreneurs fall into, why your nervous system chooses familiarity over alignment, and how to make identity shifts that attract love — and partnerships — that actually support your vision. If your success has been outpacing your happiness… If your relationships feel harder than your business… If you're ready to stop building from survival and start building from alignment… This episode will change how you think about love, leadership, and what it truly takes to feel regulated, supported, and fulfilled — in business and in life. Because the right relationships don't distract you from your purpose. They stabilize your nervous system so your vision can expand. Press play and let's begin. Connect With Us:

It's a really common (albeit frustrating!) thing to find yourself stuck in the same old patterns, even when you're deeply aware of them and genuinely want to respond differently. In this episode of Somatic Healing Meditations, we explore why these patterns exist in the first place and why they're not signs that something is wrong with you. From a somatic healing perspective, many of our most stubborn old patterns formed as self-protective responses long ago and are held in the body and subconscious, which is why insight alone doesn't always lead to change. This compassionate, body-based meditation is designed to help you slow down and meet a part of you that's been carrying an old pattern. You'll be guided to connect with the deeper roots of this pattern that have been held beneath the surface, creating the conditions for those responses to begin to loosen. If you've been cycling through the same emotional reactions and wondering why they haven't shifted yet, this practice offers a grounded, supportive way to start releasing old patterns from the inside out. In this episode of the Torsion Talk Podcast, Ryan Lucia takes on one of the hardest topics in business: the tough conversations leaders avoid, create, or live inside without even realizing it. Coming off an incredible mastermind event in Atlanta, Ryan shares insights from guest speaker Chris Brooks of Central Door Solutions, whose sales-first approach built a thriving company without relying heavily on marketing. Ryan also recaps day two of the mastermind, where he introduced powerful automations and sales tools through HighLevel and explained how garage door companies can reduce costs and increase capability by integrating the right tech stack.Ryan gives updates on operator brands, including concerns about reliability, callbacks, and leadership changes across the industry, and shares his honest reaction to new products from Genie and LiftMaster. He highlights why consistency, not bells and whistles, is what customers truly want. He also talks about his new morning routine—early rising, stretching, meditation, prayer, and ashwagandha—and how it has dramatically improved his stress management and clarity. The core of the episode centers on fear, failure, and the limitations leaders place on themselves. Ryan explains why playing it safe is no longer an option in a landscape shaped by consolidation, national competitors, and shifting customer behavior. He breaks down why word-of-mouth isn't a marketing strategy, why many small operators won't survive without adapting, and how medium-sized companies can grow rapidly through smart acquisitions and partnerships. One of the most powerful moments comes from a story about circus elephants tied to chairs—a metaphor for the invisible limitations leaders drag with them for years. Ryan uses the analogy to challenge business owners to recognize where they've accepted false boundaries, outdated habits, and broken systems. He openly reflects on his own leadership flaws, including being too soft, staying loyal too long, and avoiding hard decisions with people who think they're irreplaceable.Ryan encourages leaders to examine whether their fears, standards, or past disappointments are holding their companies back. He explains how baggage from failed agencies, failed hires, or failed strategies can distort expectations and sabotage future success. By the end, Ryan brings the conversation back to accountability: if problems keep repeating, the mirror is often the first place to look.He closes with gratitude, encouragement, and a reminder that growth requires both courage and honesty. If you've ever felt trapped by your past, held back by old wounds, or stuck in patterns you can't seem to break, this episode is going to shift something deep inside you. Most men assume their past is a permanent record … a fixed story they're forced to carry forever. But neuroscience says something radically different: your past is editable. Every time you recall a memory, your brain temporarily destabilizes it and opens a window where that memory can be rewritten, reframed, and reconsolidated. What gets saved afterward isn't the original version … it's the updated one. Today, we dive into the groundbreaking science behind memory reconsolidating and how the subconscious uses these stored memories as a database to predict your future. If your past is full of rejection, your subconscious expects more rejection. If it's full of humiliation, it expects more humiliation. If it's full of success, it expects success. The subconscious isn't emotional, it's predictive. So the only way to change the future it expects is to update the data it's pulling from. Change the memory, and you change the belief. Change the belief, and you change the pattern. Change the pattern, and you change your life. In this episode of REBUILT, Michael-David shares how old memories quietly shape your relationships, communication, confidence, leadership, conflict, triggers, and even how you parent. You'll see why you shut down during conflict, why abandonment terrifies you, why you overcompensate or avoid responsibility, why certain tones set you off, and why you react from the wounded child instead of the grounded man. And more importantly, you'll learn how to rewrite these stories so your subconscious stops using old pain as your life's blueprint. We explore Neville Goddard's “Revision Technique”; now supported by modern neuroscience and how recalling a memory and rewriting its outcome before sleep can transform your emotional response in the present. We also talk about the role of forgiveness, not as letting someone else off the hook, but as releasing the version of you who was hurt. As Scripture says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This is how you do it. By the end of this episode, you'll understand that healing isn't pretending the past didn't happen. It's rewriting the meaning so you stop living as the man shaped by trauma and start living as the man God is rebuilding you to be. If this episode hits you, share it with a brother who needs it. This is the work that sets men free.

But somehow you keep choosing the same responses, the same strategies, the same patterns—and then wonder why nothing shifts. In this episode, Meghan gets to the heart of why "more of the same plus more of the same equals more of the same"—and what it actually takes to break free. Drawing from Dawson Church's neuroscience research in Mind to Matter and Dr. John Churchill's work on the imaginal realm, she reveals how our brains are wired for efficiency, not transformation. The good news? You have the power to interrupt old patterns and literally rewire your neural pathways toward new possibilities. This isn't about willpower or waiting for circumstances to change. It's about understanding that you are the architect of your reality, and change begins the moment you consciously choose to do something different. Not tomorrow. Today. In this episode, Lauren and Trey explore what it really looks like to shadowbox through conflict instead of slipping into fusion, isolation, or the old patterns their bodies once relied on.They discuss Jessica Fern's Distancer–Pursuer dance, celebrating the one who reaches for connection under stress and the one who pulls toward autonomy. Lauren then brings up their recent train ride back from NYC and how Trey surprised them both by turning toward connection instead of shutting down. She explains how the rough start began with a taxi stopping in the middle of traffic at Penn Station, lowering Trey's resiliency score before the conversation even began. Trey breaks down his Resiliency Check-In scale for listeners:Resiliency Check-In:5 = I could jump through a wall4 = I could accomplish anything3 = I'm good to go for the basic tasks2 = I probably need to be in bed watching TV1 = No, I can't do anything and I need to take a bath and go to bedThey walk through the uncomfortable minutes waiting for their train, the shadows that surfaced, and the trauma nap Lauren took as her infant self's old coping strategy. They revisit the moment when Trey looked out the window and admitted he wanted to run away, and how choosing to stay shifted everything. They talk about why resolving things quickly to keep the peace is tempting, and why sitting in discomfort is often the more honest path.Hours later, Lauren describes the internal battle of trying to say no, sensing her system avoid the threat of disconnection, and how Trey encouraged clarity instead of collapse. She reflects on the roots of not being able to say no in her home of origin, then shares how the Willingness and Wanting Scales from their Like a Pro training helped her discover that her truth was not a simple no but a yes with limits or a yes if that.Lauren closes with pride in the way they shadowboxed on the train with tenderness and skill. Trey shares why walking is still his favorite way to have hard conversations and why trains will probably never be his preferred arena for relational growth. If any of these subjects have piqued your interest, request a free consult at: www.sexedforyou.com/freeconsultIf this episode resonates with you, please like, subscribe, and share with someone who may need to hear these words.About Us: Lauren and Trey are partners living in Central Virginia where Lauren owns and operates, SEX ED FOR YOU. In this episode, I share the story of how I recently got sick, and what it really revealed. It wasn't about the virus, the fatigue, or even the physical symptoms. It was about the decision I was sitting on. The decision to invest in myself. Even after all these years of doing the work, guiding others through deep transformation, and making countless powerful investments in my own growth, I still notice how the same questions come up. “Should I put the money elsewhere?” "What if it's the wrong time” “What if this fails?” This time, I found myself walking a parallel path with my Release participants, feeling the same discomfort, resistance, and vulnerability that often arise right before we say yes to what's next. It was humbling and deeply affirming. Expansion doesn't mean those fears disappear; it means we meet them with more awareness, compassion, and trust. The body never lies. And when we try to override what we know, it finds a way to slow us down, sometimes through illness, sometimes through unexpected pauses, until we finally listen. This was one of those moments I want to share with you. If you've ever wondered why your body reacts when you're on the edge of a big decision or opportunity, this episode will help you see it through a new lens. Because the truth is, every next level will call you to meet the same patterns, but this time, from a higher place.  Referenced Episodes: The Investments I've Made in MyselfManifestation HorsesLuxe Launch Replay If you're ready to understand the emotional patterns that keep showing up in your life — and actually process them — my signature program, the Release Course is where you'll learn to do exactly that. Managing Reenactment Triggers: How to Break Old Patterns and Reclaim Your Voice with Dr. Tony Iezzi

Why do small moments unleash outsized reactions? In this Healthy Mind, Healthy Life episode, clinical psychologist Dr. Tony Iezzi explains reenactments—those unconscious loops that pull us back into old stories. We unpack how everyday interactions can echo deeper themes like shame, abandonment, betrayal, or not being heard, and the 5-step approach to notice, regulate, name the theme, plan, and act differently. Straight talk, practical examples, and a clear path to break the cycle and respond with choice, not conditioning. About the guest   Dr. Tony Iezzi is a clinical psychologist with 35+ years on the front lines of trauma recovery and co-author of Reenactments: Break the Behavior Patterns That Keep You Stuck in Trauma, Stress, and Everyday Life. His work helps people identify the core themes driving their reactions and replace automatic loops with intentional responses. Key takeaways (bullet points)   Reenactments = patterned loops where body–mind–brain replay past responses in present situations; it's not only “big T” trauma—everyday moments can trigger old themes. Themes drive reactions (loss, abandonment, betrayal, humiliation, feeling unseen, feeling trapped, rescuer/underdog roles). Treat the theme, not just the obvious trigger. Normal reaction vs reenactment: normal passes quickly; reenactment lingers (hours/days) and feels disproportionate or hard to trace. Lingering is a red flag. Awareness is step one. Use daily journaling or meditation to capture incidents, feelings, and the underlying theme (e.g., “I felt shamed in that meeting”). Five-step method: 1) Awareness something happened; 2) Regulate (walk, journal, quiet time) to think clearly; 3) Name the theme; 4) Plan a different response; 5) Execute (e.g., a direct, calm conversation next day). Motives matter: act from self-respect and needs, not people-pleasing; otherwise you recreate the loop. Expect recurrence. Triggers will happen; the goal isn't zero triggers—it's choosing differently when they appear. Face it, don't avoid it. Avoidance keeps you stuck; approach the scary moment with a prepared plan to reclaim your voice and align with who you want to be. Ever felt like you're stuck in old relationship patterns, no matter how hard you try to break free? Or perhaps you find yourself repeating the same old arguments, feeling misunderstood, or cycling through self-doubt and disconnection from your partner. The truth is, long-term intimacy often brings hidden challenges to the surface, and many of us wrestle with how to unravel deeply ingrained habits that hold us back from experiencing truly authentic, safe, and thriving partnerships. In this episode, listeners discover how making tiny, targeted external shifts—rather than endlessly searching for answers within—can pave the way for new relational experiences and stronger partnerships. By exploring actionable strategies rooted in intuition, personal development, and a unique system for understanding your “ego centers,” you'll learn how even the smallest changes can disrupt well-worn habits, unlock growth, and attract more authentic, secure connections in your life. Whether struggling with undervaluing yourself, longing for healthier dynamics, or navigating the challenge of healing old wounds in love, this conversation offers fresh perspectives and practical tools to help you build the partnership you truly want. In her workshops and presentations, she demonstrates the practical, verifiable, and sometimes astonishing uses of intuition in the fields of business, science, medicine, and personal growth. On this week's episode of In The Circle, Katya came forward with a deeply relatable question: How Can We Break Old Patterns And Habits That No Longer Serve Us? Katya is self-aware enough to notice the moment when she could choose recovery, but often still opts for old patterns. This honesty is powerful as it highlights the universal human struggle: knowing what's good for us, yet resisting it.For those in recovery, that challenge is magnified by the belief that consistency isn't possible. We need to put our full hearts into simple, daily practices, just as addicts once put their full creativity into finding their drug of choice. Fluctuation between old and new is natural; new consciousness doesn't “stick” immediately. The key is to return to the higher state again and again, more often than you return to the old one. Surrounding yourself with teachers, community, and environments that reinforce recovery is essential because consciousness is contagious. Ultimately, the way forward is simple but not easy: practice with your whole heart, release attachment to outcomes, and stay close to community. This is how resistance softens, self-doubt diminishes, and new patterns crystallize into lasting freedom and joy.Tommy discussesAwareness is only step 1Fluctuation is normalConsciousness is contagiousCommunity and support are crucial in long-term recovery Further Links & ResourcesCatch a Meeting. I want to hear your thoughts about the show and this episode. Text us here...I just returned from a weekend in New York City, and it stirred up more than I expected. Between a $24 martini, a glam squad at the hotel, and the reminder of life waiting for me back home, I found myself reflecting on the roles we play — and how old patterns have a way of resurfacing, even when we think we've outgrown them.In this episode, I talk about what it feels like to live in two worlds: the confident entrepreneur I've worked so hard to become and the daughter who sometimes slips back into old family dynamics. If you've ever felt torn between who you are now and the roles you used to play, this conversation is for you.A peek into my NYC adventure — glam squads, brand photos, and sticker shock. The reality of caregiving for an aging parent while running a business. How old roles and behaviors can creep back in, even when we think we've outgrown them. Why living in “two worlds” is actually part of our growth. The importance of embracing the messy middle instead of chasing perfection.I would love to hear your thoughts on my thoughts in this episode. We are currently in a "threshold season" where old patterns surface for healing and transformation as we transition from the old self to the true self.• Our recurring patterns of fear, shame, and unworthiness exist below conscious awareness• The universe brings these patterns to the surface because they don't align with our divine nature• Nothing in physical life will change until we change internally• Being uncomfortable is a sign of growth and transformation• Our energy sets the tone for our entire experience• We often choose comfort over truth to avoid changing our relationships• Building awareness through practices like meditation helps break subconscious patterns• Creating a container (environment) that supports who you want to become is essential• Understanding you are a "one of one" - unique and irreplaceable• Moving from reaction to conscious response creates freedomRemember, these patterns aren't problems—they're portals. Give yourself grace during this transition, regulate your nervous system, and watch how you transform over the next 90 days in ways you never imagined possible.

In this deeply reflective episode, I do something I've never done before on The Cliff Ravenscraft Show. After publishing a series of unedited, unscripted conversations (Episodes 772 through 782), I felt a nudge. I asked a single question: “From a Higher Self perspective, is there anything that I said in these conversations that might be out of alignment with either truth or how I desire to show up in the world today?” Then I listened. In this episode, I walk you through that process. You'll hear me reflect on fears many of us carry: – What if I say the wrong thing? – What if old patterns slip through? – What if my unrefined edges get exposed? – What if I'm not as awakened or healed as I thought I was? I answer these questions by showing you what it looks like to keep creating anyway. You'll hear Higher Self reflections on several episodes, real-time insights I received, and how I'm integrating those insights without shame or regret. If you've ever wondered what it looks like to lead without needing to be perfect… If you've ever worried that your healing isn't complete enough to serve… If you've ever created something and then second-guessed your own voice… …this episode is for you. May it remind you: You don't have to be finished to be faithful. You don't have to be flawless to be aligned. And even your unrefined edges can become the doorway to someone else's liberation. Welcome to the other side of the microphone. At the end, I share more about the upcoming Free The Dream Workshop happening August 29–30, a two-day experience to clear the noise, uncover what's next, and remember the part of you that's still waiting to be lived.
