Patterson is certainly right about that. Lilly makes her RSD Podcast debut to discuss, among other things, working at home with her husband Coley Hinson, long distance remote mixing with Paul Kolderie, post-lockdown isolation, her famous songwriting father, and the long road to Forever. The Record Store Day Podcast is a weekly music chat show written, produced, engineered and hosted by Paul Myers, who also composed the theme music and selected interstitial music. Buckle up for a wild ride as Opie, Matt, and comedian Ron the Waiter take over Gebhards for a no-holds-barred LIVE episode! Ron spills the beans on his bonkers childhood—think evil stepmoms, falling through ceilings, and a lesbian mom who stumbles into him on a Boston street. The crew veers from clam chowder debates to Post Malone channeling Kurt Cobain, with pit stops at misheard Chili Peppers lyrics and a bionic hip reveal. It’s a hilarious, unscripted trainwreck of trauma, tunes, and tangents—plus Matt’s brunch gets a shoutout, and Ron’s still yelling about Fran Drescher. Hit play and join the madness!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Music Talks as a Podcast may have finished but my desire to share my Favourite Albums of the Year has not abated and in fact this is the 25th year I have been doing it. It started in 2000 with me, a Dual CD recorder and handmade artwork. Then it was on to a Spotify Playlists and for the last 6 years a Podcast where myself and my dear friend Steven Routledge each choose our favourite 10 albums of the year and talk through why they made the list. Part 1 was released on 19/12/24 and this is Part 2 where we tale through choices 5 to 1 and announce our respective 'Album of the Year' ! I hope you enjoy the episode and ideally find some new music that you love. If you do please let me know at Musictalkspod@Outlook.com. The Father Hoods crew is back with a NEW episode! And this one's got it all! DJ EFN, Manny Digital, and KGB kick things off with a wild convo about drones—breaking down everything from nuclear tracking theories to government PsyOps. They even touch on how all these add to parental anxiety and how kids today process these moments way differently than we did growing up. On the music tip, the Dads vibe out to Kendrick Lamar's new album and give their takes on the Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre collab. Manny gets personal, sharing how his eldest is picking colleges far from home, leading to a real talk about independence, empty nests, and parenting styles that match your kids' personalities. What You'll Hear in This Episode: [00:00:02] Drones Speculations [00:09:50] Music Talk [00:17:23] College Countdown [00:24:20] Navigating Kid Personalities [00:28:40] Aliens and What Ifs Why This Pod is a Vibe: This isn't your typical Dad talk—it's the ultimate guide to surviving (and thriving) in today's wild world of fatherhood. With real laughs, raw truths, and no holds barred, the Father Hoods crew brings that unfiltered energy every time. Hit play and roll with the squad—Dad life just got a whole lot doper!
Part 1 is now out where we both talk through albums 10 to 6 and Part 2 will be out on Boxing Day.I hope you enjoy the episode and ideally find some new music that you love. If you do please let me know at Musictalkspod@Outlook.com.
