Dr. Jay Bhattacharya gets into an argument with Margaret Brennan about why the public doesn't trust the media and the medical experts.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Mike examines why so many Americans no longer trust public health officials or the legacy media, pointing to a contentious exchange between NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and CBS' Margaret Brennan as a reflection of the debate still surrounding the COVID era. He explores how media coverage, government messaging, vaccine mandates, lockdowns, and public health decisions continue to shape public skepticism years later, while listeners weigh in on the lasting impact of the pandemic and America's response. Mike also discusses the growing influence of far-left activist Hasan Piker and his controversial rhetoric, questions the media's treatment of political extremism, reacts to renewed concerns over measles and immigration, and shares why he believes restoring public trust begins with honest conversations rather than political narratives.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

You’re listening to American Ground Radio with Stephen Parr and Louis R. Avallone. This is the full show for July 27, 2026. We open with Chris Christie's Sunday morning declaration that the Trump show is over, that Iran has learned the president's threats are just bluster, and that there are no signs the United States is winning. We explain why this is not just wrong — it is reckless. Wars are not won or lost on Sunday talk show segments. But enemies listen. They translate every word. They study our divisions and exploit them. Christie chose to go on national television and tell Tehran to hold on just a little longer on the exact weekend that Iran was sending desperate messages through dozens of third countries begging to restart negotiations — after 13 consecutive days of U.S. bombing had decimated their defense industrial base, their launchers, their radars, and their economy. When critics tell the enemy that America's resolve is crumbling, they are shaping the battlefield in a way that benefits the adversary. That is not speaking truth to power. That is threatening the men and women in uniform. In our Top 3 Things You Need to Know, President Trump attended the White House Correspondents Dinner and delivered a speech roasting CNN's Kaitlin Collins, RFK Jr., Ted Cruz, Gavin Newsom, Rosie O'Donnell, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Christie, J.B. Pritzker, and others — with the jokes about the media landing to dead silence and the Trump 2028 trolling getting the biggest reaction of the night. Then the Maine Democratic Party officially replaced Graham Plattner — who was elected by actual voters — with Troy Jackson, a party insider selected by party leaders, because Plattner's sex scandals made him unelectable. It is Kamala Harris 2024 all over again, except instead of Sleepy Joe, they had Sleazy Graham. And an ISIS-linked attacker drove a van into a crowd at a Berlin Pride parade before exiting with a machete — killing one person and injuring 29 others before being tracked down and shot by police in a Berlin suburb. We also cover Mayor Mamdani's announcement that New Yorkers should protest when Benjamin Netanyahu visits New York for the UN General Assembly — framing Netanyahu as a war criminal and architect of genocide based on an International Criminal Court warrant the United States does not recognize. We point out that the last protest near Mamdani's home was accompanied by two Muslims attempting to kill everyone in the area with homemade bombs. We also note that foreign policy is not run from city hall in Manhattan, that the Constitution is explicit about this, and that encouraging massive protests based on blood libel lies is not just constitutionally illiterate — it is dangerous. Our American Mamas Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burleson report from a campfire conversation in Wyoming — where Teri's Danish-American friend, a naturalized citizen who cannot stand Trump, was asked who she would want as the next president. Her answer: not Gavin Newsom, not AOC. Marco Rubio — because he's presidential, articulate, and could actually bring people together. Terry says that's the first moment she could picture Rubio as president. We explore the historic possibility of a Trump-Vance-Rubio sequential presidency — comparing it to Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe — and what three consecutive terms of the same political coalition would mean for the Democratic Party's long-term survival. We dig deep into the financial collapse of the Democratic National Committee — reported not by Breitbart but by the New York Times and the Huffington Post. The DNC chair reportedly threw his phone at a staffer during a meeting over the party's finances. The DNC has asked vendors to delay sending bills until after the midterms so the debt doesn't appear on the balance sheet. The party is $2 million in the hole — $18 million in debt against $16 million on hand — and has already mortgaged its national headquarters to secure a $15 million line of credit. The RNC, by contrast, has $128 million cash on hand and zero debt. President Trump's personal war chest adds another $400 million. The Democrats have no message, the message they do have isn't resonating, and the money is not coming in. We also cover Senator John Kennedy's response on CBS to questions about the SAVE Act — where he calmly explained to Margaret Brennan that election integrity requires exactly two things: prove you are who you say you are to register and vote, and get back to knowing the results on election night instead of election month. We call it exactly what it is — a bright spot. And we note that 70-80% of Americans agree with Kennedy, depending on the poll. The only people who don't are Democrat politicians afraid of their own radical base. We also cover Hakeem Jeffries telling CNN that 6,600 non-citizens being registered to vote in New Jersey — with hundreds confirmed to have voted — is not a problem, and is actually an example of Republican voter suppression. We say what needs to be said: yes, Hakeem. We are trying to suppress illegal votes. That is exactly what the SAVE Act does. If the Democrat Party needs illegal votes to win, the Democrat Party should not win. And we close with 11-year-old Nehemiah Turner of Jacksonville, Florida — who started reading books to shelter dogs at the Jacksonville Humane Society, logged 100 volunteer hours becoming the first person in the program to reach that milestone, became a straight-A student in the process, and has now set his sights on 200 hours. The dogs get comfort. Nehemiah gets better at reading. Everybody wins. May your pursuit of happiness bring you joy. Notably absent from the photo was United States president Donald Trump. As expected, Trump helped FIFA president Gianni Infantino present the World Cup trophy to Spain after La Roja won the tournament with a 1-0 victory over Argentina on Sunday. However, Trump lingered on the podium for part of Spain's celebration, despite Infantino's apparent efforts to usher him off the stage that had been set up in the middle of the pitch.""A Senate Democrat — for the second time in four days — criticized CBS's coverage of President Donald Trump's primetime speech on CBS's own air.Speaking with Margaret Brennan on CBS's Face the Nation Sunday, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) called out network leadership for opting to air Trump's speech about election integrity — in which numerous fact checkers found the president made a bevy of false claims.“There are so many absurdities and falsehoods in Trump's Thursday night speech,” Warner said. “And I'm glad that most media treated it not as serious news — and I know some folks at your network, the journalists I have huge respect for. After Trump's address on election interference, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) scolded CBS for airing it live — then spent the weekend making the media rounds himself. In this breakdown, we catch Warner contradicting himself in real time: telling Margaret Brennan on Face the Nation that China has no proven ability to interfere in U.S. elections, then telling Jonathan Karl on ABC the same day that China "has the capabilities." Warner also calls the SAVE Act's citizenship and photo ID requirements "Jim Crow," then falsely claims Virginia already requires photo ID to vote — a claim Karl corrects him on, on air. We break down the contradictions, the walk-backs, and why Warner dodges the idea of a national voter ID standard. Margaret Brennan interviews Dr. Debra Houry, the former CDC Chief Medical Officer who resigned in protest after HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fired then-CDC Director Susan Monarez.
Margaret Brennan interviews Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) about his clash with President Trump over the war with Iran and healthcare policy.
Barack Obama crawled out to declare Trump's new Iran deal "no different" than his own JCPOA — then one fact about uranium enrichment blew the whole claim apart. JD Vance broke down the two-step verification deal, Pete Hegseth shut down Margaret Brennan the second she parroted Obama's talking point, and Trump reminded everyone Obama once handed Iran $1.7 billion in cash that failed anyway. Margaret Brennan interviews Rye Barcott, Co-Founder and CEO of With Honor, about his new book Courage Can Save Us.
Ro Khanna went on Face the Nation and said he believes Lindsey Fifield's account of her abusive relationship with Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner — and then kept campaigning for Platner anyway, hiding behind the line "there's no evidence of violence." Margaret Brennan teed it up by downplaying the physical abuse detailed in the New York Times. Larry O'Connor, who knows Fifield personally, breaks down the hypocrisy, the "redemption" spin, and why even James Carville was more honest about it. I spotlight how the Democrats are attempting to run distraction plays in the Texas Senate race, as James Talarico is busy explaining controversial past remarks, defending old posts, and navigating questions about his relationship with a former employee. With America's 250th anniversary around the corner, liberals like Margaret Brennan and Ali Velshi are having a meltdown. I highlight the latest examples of anti-American rhetoric, canceled performances, and attacks on patriotic celebrations. The Karmelo Anthony trial is now under way, and Greg Foreman of “Black Conservative Perspective” joins me to discuss why the case has become a flashpoint for debates over race, media narratives, and whether the facts are being overshadowed by politics. ► Catch up on my H-1B visa investigations: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkJEwf2wliqrtNlYs9D78nmE_Gnja_PpC ► Email me at saratips@blazemedia.com if you have uncovered potential fraud in your area. ► Subscribe to my second YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@SaraGonzalesTX?sub_confirmation=1 ► PreBorn To donate, visit http://www.Preborn.com/SARA. CBS News’ Margaret Brennan is criticized for attempting to steer two Medal of Honor recipients into a negative view of America during a Memorial Day interview. Joe Scarborough used Memorial Day to lecture America about its "nasty habit of resetting," Margaret Brennan told Medal of Honor recipients the country feels "dark," and the official Democrat Party account posted a tribute to 13 fallen soldiers — then used it to attack Donald Trump before quietly deleting it. SEASON 4 EPISODE 55: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: So would you like to collapse the Trump Regime? Today? Peacefully? Legally? You - the White House press corps. It only takes one of you. You go into the next Oval Office Scrum, and you ask him politely for his explanation of something released by his administration, by Pam Bondi’s office, on the government website, and you read – quoting this FBI 302 interview file: “Maxwell presented (her) to Trump…by the things Maxwell said, it was clear that (she) was available…”And don’t stop reading and don’t make eye contact. THEN from the sworn affidavit, reed, quote: “I personally witnessed Defendant Trump telling the plaintiff that she couldn’t ever say anything, if she didn’t want to disappear like the 12-year old female (redacted) and that he was capable of having her whole family killed…” Quote: “the physical and sexual abuse that I personally witnessed of minor females at the hands of Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein... under penalty of perjury even though I fully understand that the life of myself and my family is now in grave danger” unquote, what SIR is your explanation SIR about when you threatened this girl’s life, sir. Just keep asking. Don't make eye contact, don't stop, don't stop talking when he starts talking. Just reel off those quotes. And the one about becoming fertilizer. And the "Calendar Girls" story (as nonsensical as that probably is). And all the others. Because we don't always see the escape hatch when it appears before us, and it just appeared. Because the Epstein Files are part of an official Department of Justice Document Dump. Their contents are Pam Bondi's problem, not you or your lawyer's. And if you don't bear down and do this job as it was designed by the Founding Fathers, you will sooner or later face one of these outcomes: you'll be arrested, you'll be replaced by some automaton Bari Weiss likes, or the country will survive and the next people running media will never consider you for work because you were cowardly when we needed your courage. Oh and you can peacefully, legally end the careers of Elon Musk and Marco Rubio and Bari Weiss and lots of others. The material is all in front of you. Just have the courage to pick it up and fling it, like he'd fling his poo at you. ALSO: Don Lemon was arrested not because Jesus but because Trump has always hated him. And if you've forgotten, I explained two weeks ago why Trump was trying to restart the 2020 crap, now sending Tulsi Gabbard to Georgia. They're sitting up not a claim that the election was fixed, but that the election was fixed by another country (hey, Nicolas Maduro, you mind taking the rap, in exchange for a pardon?) and there is no statute of limitations on THAT. B-Block (34:55) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Harriet Hageman, the blob they elected to the House from Wyoming to replace Liz Cheney, is now running for Senate. Emphasize "running": she has fled a town hill. The Bill Maher Pretzel Logic: Celebrities should shut up, voters don't listen to TV and movie stars. But Bill, you expect them to listen to you. So you're saying you're not a star? And the latest Bari Weiss firing target is supposedly Face The Nation host Margaret Brennan and one of the names being thrown around (probably nonsensically) is Matt Lauer. C-Block (54:00) MONDAYS WITH THURBER: We need a doubleheader. I heard an audio book with a famous actor doing Thurber's tribute to what would be called Dunning-Kruger Syndrome: "The Macbeth Murder Mystery" and it was one of those rare times when I actually said "No - I did this better." So I bring it to you, and as a bonus, a second great unheralded Thurber story: "Meet Birdey Doggett." Enjoy them at your leisure.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss excellent advice from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to the GOP Congress, the concerning percentage of people on the right buying into conspiracy theories, and the absurd arguments from Rep. Ilhan Omar in response to the massive Minnesota welfare scandal.First, they cheer Gov. DeSantis for urging Republicans in Washington to focus on the economy and immigration and to bring many more conservative pieces of legislation to the floor that are popular with the American people. Some bills might pass and the others will put Democrats in a difficult spot the next time they run for re-election. So why isn't this happening?Next, they dig into Jim's column looking at the percentage of people who align with the right and embrace conspiracy theories like 9/11 was an inside job, the moon landing was faked, and the Holocaust was either greatly exaggerated or didn't happen as historians claim. Why is this happening and what does it mean for the future of the political right? Finally, they rip Rep. Omar for blaming everyone except the actual criminals in the Minnesota welfare scandal. She blames a rushed process for setting the stage for all the fraud. And wait until you hear who she blames if any of the money ended up with terrorists in Somalia. And they also highlight the pathetic attempt of Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan to make the GOP the villain in this storyPlease visit our great sponsors:Listeners can start a new tradition this December with 10% off at BetterHelp—visit https://BetterHelp.com/3ML to get started.Go to https://OmahaSteaks.com, use code 3ML for 50% off sitewide + $35 off during the Sizzle All the Way Sale.Try Quo for free at https://Quo.com/3ML and keep your existing number—Quo means no missed calls and no missed customers.New episodes every weekday.
