Barack Obama crawled out to declare Trump's new Iran deal "no different" than his own JCPOA — then one fact about uranium enrichment blew the whole claim apart. JD Vance broke down the two-step verification deal, Pete Hegseth shut down Margaret Brennan the second she parroted Obama's talking point, and Trump reminded everyone Obama once handed Iran $1.7 billion in cash that failed anyway. Oil crashed to $80 a barrel and the markets surged. Ro Khanna went on Face the Nation and said he believes Lindsey Fifield's account of her abusive relationship with Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner — and then kept campaigning for Platner anyway, hiding behind the line "there's no evidence of violence." Margaret Brennan teed it up by downplaying the physical abuse detailed in the New York Times. Larry O'Connor, who knows Fifield personally, breaks down the hypocrisy, the "redemption" spin, and why even James Carville was more honest about it. I spotlight how the Democrats are attempting to run distraction plays in the Texas Senate race, as James Talarico is busy explaining controversial past remarks, defending old posts, and navigating questions about his relationship with a former employee. With America's 250th anniversary around the corner, liberals like Margaret Brennan and Ali Velshi are having a meltdown. I highlight the latest examples of anti-American rhetoric, canceled performances, and attacks on patriotic celebrations. The Karmelo Anthony trial is now under way, and Greg Foreman of “Black Conservative Perspective” joins me to discuss why the case has become a flashpoint for debates over race, media narratives, and whether the facts are being overshadowed by politics. ► Catch up on my H-1B visa investigations: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkJEwf2wliqrtNlYs9D78nmE_Gnja_PpC ► Email me at saratips@blazemedia.com if you have uncovered potential fraud in your area. ► Subscribe to my second YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@SaraGonzalesTX?sub_confirmation=1 ► PreBorn To donate, visit http://www.Preborn.com/SARA. Just keep asking. Don't make eye contact, don't stop, don't stop talking when he starts talking. Just reel off those quotes. And the one about becoming fertilizer. And the "Calendar Girls" story (as nonsensical as that probably is). And all the others. Because we don't always see the escape hatch when it appears before us, and it just appeared. Because the Epstein Files are part of an official Department of Justice Document Dump. Their contents are Pam Bondi's problem, not you or your lawyer's. And if you don't bear down and do this job as it was designed by the Founding Fathers, you will sooner or later face one of these outcomes: you'll be arrested, you'll be replaced by some automaton Bari Weiss likes, or the country will survive and the next people running media will never consider you for work because you were cowardly when we needed your courage. Oh and you can peacefully, legally end the careers of Elon Musk and Marco Rubio and Bari Weiss and lots of others. The material is all in front of you. Just have the courage to pick it up and fling it, like he'd fling his poo at you. ALSO: Don Lemon was arrested not because Jesus but because Trump has always hated him. And if you've forgotten, I explained two weeks ago why Trump was trying to restart the 2020 crap, now sending Tulsi Gabbard to Georgia. They're sitting up not a claim that the election was fixed, but that the election was fixed by another country (hey, Nicolas Maduro, you mind taking the rap, in exchange for a pardon?) and there is no statute of limitations on THAT. B-Block (34:55) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Harriet Hageman, the blob they elected to the House from Wyoming to replace Liz Cheney, is now running for Senate. Emphasize "running": she has fled a town hill. The Bill Maher Pretzel Logic: Celebrities should shut up, voters don't listen to TV and movie stars. But Bill, you expect them to listen to you. So you're saying you're not a star? And the latest Bari Weiss firing target is supposedly Face The Nation host Margaret Brennan and one of the names being thrown around (probably nonsensically) is Matt Lauer. C-Block (54:00) MONDAYS WITH THURBER: We need a doubleheader. I heard an audio book with a famous actor doing Thurber's tribute to what would be called Dunning-Kruger Syndrome: "The Macbeth Murder Mystery" and it was one of those rare times when I actually said "No - I did this better." So I bring it to you, and as a bonus, a second great unheralded Thurber story: "Meet Birdey Doggett." Enjoy them at your leisure.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Farron Balanced Daily
Mike Johnson Is Finally Freaking Out About The Midterms

Farron Balanced Daily

At the recent Turning Point conference, Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson finally started to sound the alarm bells about Republicans' chances in next year's midterms. Johnson warned that Democrats could take over (which is almost guaranteed at this point), and that if they do, they'll go out and impeach Donald Trump again. He's trying to scare Republicans into submission, but doing so by arguing that the least popular president in modern history is in danger isn't exactly going to get people energized. Kevin Hassett, the chief economic adviser to Donald Trump, panicked when questioned by CBS's Margaret Brennan about when Americans can expect to start receiving their $2,000 tariff rebate checks that Trump has repeatedly promised. Hassett tried to say that Congress has to do that because it is a budget issue, and then immediately pivoted away from the topic in order to distract the public from that rather shocking admission that proves that Trump is a total liar. Elise Stefanik is quitting. Cynthia Lummis is retiring. Marjorie Taylor Greene and several other House members have either already announced their retirements or their resignations. The Great Republican Resignation movement has officially begun, as many analysts had predicted. But to see such high profile members like Stefanik and Greene bail out was likely not on anyone's 2025 Bingo cards. Old man Trump tried his hand at another rally in a sleepy town last Friday, and things somehow went even worse than his previous rally in Pennsylvania the week before. Trump couldn't stay on topic for more than a few minutes, and went on so many wild tangents that no one could keep track of what he was even supposed to be talking about. At one point, he went into disturbing detail about how he "thinks" his wife cleans her underwear and organizes her underwear drawer. Donald Trump reportedly talked with infamous Epstein lawyer Alan Dershowitz about the possibility of serving a third term in office, something that Dershowitz has now written a book about, laying out the legal possibilities that could make it happen. Trump is clearly not just "joking" about a third term, as Susie Wiles said in her recent Vanity Fair issue. But just because he's not joking doesn't mean we should take it seriously.A former manager at Donald Trump's Bedminster golf resort in New Jersey has filed a lawsuit against the club for wrongful termination, but the lawsuit has a lot more information than just being fired for things that weren't her fault. The manager details harassment, misogyny, discrimination, and the most disgusting kitchen details you could imagine. She claims in the suit that even Donald Trump himself was disgusted by the state of the club, which included "maggots", "mold", and a terrible "fly infestation." Text and and let us know your thoughts on today's stories!Subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on all of Farron's content: https://www.youtube.com/FarronBalancedFollow Farron on social media! Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss excellent advice from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to the GOP Congress, the concerning percentage of people on the right buying into conspiracy theories, and the absurd arguments from Rep. Ilhan Omar in response to the massive Minnesota welfare scandal.First, they cheer Gov. DeSantis for urging Republicans in Washington to focus on the economy and immigration and to bring many more conservative pieces of legislation to the floor that are popular with the American people. Some bills might pass and the others will put Democrats in a difficult spot the next time they run for re-election. So why isn't this happening?Next, they dig into Jim's column looking at the percentage of people who align with the right and embrace conspiracy theories like 9/11 was an inside job, the moon landing was faked, and the Holocaust was either greatly exaggerated or didn't happen as historians claim. Why is this happening and what does it mean for the future of the political right? Finally, they rip Rep. Omar for blaming everyone except the actual criminals in the Minnesota welfare scandal. She blames a rushed process for setting the stage for all the fraud. And wait until you hear who she blames if any of the money ended up with terrorists in Somalia. It's Tuesday, October 28th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson South African government regulating churches Earlier this month, the South African government agency, known as the Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Rights Commission, launched a committee to regulate churches in the country. The new committee will most likely make determinations as to “what qualifies as a religion,” who may be recognized as a religious leader, and where churches may worship. The concern is also that this governmental power would force churches to come under State-approved umbrella bodies. The nation's churches have scheduled a march to the Parliament building in Cape Town, the capital of South Africa, on November 13th. South Africa rejects self-defense as reason to own a gun The South African Parliament is also considering additional restrictions on firearms to remove “self-defense” as a valid reason to own a gun. This would remove meaningful protection for families, farms, and churches from violent criminals, in one of the most violent nations on Earth. The Communists and the left-leaning African National Congress have 51% control of the South African parliament. Turmoil in Chinese Communist Party The Chinese Communist government is still in turmoil. At this moment, 38 of the 205 members of the central committee failed to appear for the big Plenum session last week. Of the 33 generals on the Committee, 22 were missing. Trump to meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping on Asian tour President Donald Trump met with Japan's newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi yesterday. This week, he will move on to high level meetings in South Korea and China, with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.  The White House announced that President Trump has signed historic peace deals with Cambodia and Thailand, trade deals with Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, and minerals deals with Malaysia and Thailand. Javier Milei's mid-term election triumph in Argentina The results for Argentina's mid-term elections are in.  And Javier Milei's Libertarian Party crushed it, reports Reuters. Now, Milei's party has 41% control of the legislature which is up from 26% in 2023. The left wing party dropped off from 44% to 32% which is an 11% decline. Milei's agenda will have stronger legislative backing for more reforms in tax reduction and deregulation of business for the country. Bolivia rejects socialism And, by God's sovereign order of things, Bolivia has a new president as of last week, reports CBS News. Rodrigo Paz is more centrist — a change after 20 years of socialism in this mountainous country of South America. Not surprisingly, socialist countries like Venezuela and Bolivia are the poorest countries in all of South America. King Charles III glorified sodomy King Charles III of England glorified homosexuality yesterday by placing flowers at a newly constructed memorial to homosexuals serving in the nation's military, reports The Times. Prince Charles's mentor and uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten, served as Britain's Chief of Defense in the 1960s, and was reported in 2019 as “a homosexual with a perversion for young boys.” King Charles III joined Pope Leo XIV for worship King Charles III made other news headlines last week, when he participated in a public worship service with the Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIV.   This was the first time a reigning British monarch joined the Pope for such events since the Reformation. King Charles and his wife, Camilla, sat on golden thrones under Michelangelo's "Last Judgment" fresco in the Sistine Chapel for the ecumenical service.  Joel 3 reminds us of God's judgement.   “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow — for their wickedness is great.” Putin celebrates successful test of missile Russian President Vladimir Putin celebrated a successful test for the Burevestnik missile over the weekend, reports CBS News. Putin announced that the armament was ready for deployment, after it completed a 10,000-mile flight. Plus, according to the Russian military, the missile “successfully performed all designated vertical and horizontal maneuvers, demonstrating its strong ability to evade anti-missile and air defense systems.” Hurricane Melissa: Biggest one to hit Caribbean Category 5 Hurricane Melissa is barreling down on Jamaica. It's the strongest hurricane to hit the Caribbean nation in recorded history.  America's most lethal aircraft carrier off Venezuelan coast Meanwhile, the U.S. Military is sending its most lethal aircraft carrier from European waters into the Caribbean for the ongoing drug war, now heating up somewhere off the shores of Venezuela, reports TheHill.com. The main target for the flurry of activity appears to be Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, whom the Trump administration has called an “illegitimate leader.” Appearing on CBS's Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was asked about possible land strikes in Venezuela. BRENNAN: “Are land strikes planned?” GRAHAM: “Yeah, I think that's a real possibility. I think President Trump's made a decision that [Venezuelan President Nicolás] Maduro, the leader of Venezuela, is an indicted drug trafficker, that it's time for him to go. Venezuela and Colombia have been safe havens for ‘narco terrorists' for too long.” Oil likely will cost less in 2026 America's oil wells are pumping it out.   Chevron CEO Mike Wirth told Fox Business host Maria Bartiroma, that gas prices in 2026 may very well be lower than they were this year. BARTIROMA: “Can you give us a sense of what you would expect for 2026?” WIRTH: “Yeah, I think we see supply growing, particularly from the OPEC-supplying countries, and demand growing steadily. But as this supply comes back, it's weighing on commodity markets. So, we're prepared for prices in ‘26 to be lower than they were in ‘25.” Christian pastors arrested for child p*rn And finally, assorted national news stories report that Christian pastors and leaders have been recently arrested for possession of extreme evil forms of pornography involving children.   Singer and worship leader Jon Paul Sheptock, of First Montgomery Baptist Church, is under arrest, reports the Baptist Press.  The Idaho Statesman reports that the senior pastor at Sovereign Grace Fellowship in Nampa, Idaho was arrested for handling images of a “horrific” nature. Another Baptist youth pastor from Greenville, South Carolina was just sentenced to twenty years for a similar offense. A pastor of the House of Prayer Christian Church in Georgia has been indicted by a federal court for similar offenses. And another former youth pastor at the Southcoast church in Goleta, California has been arrested on related charges. Jeremiah speaks of religious scandals in the churches. The prophet wrote, “My heart within me is broken because of the prophets. . . For the land is full of adulterers; For because of a curse the land mourns. The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up. Their course of life is evil, and their might is not right. “For both prophet and priest are profane; Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness,” says the Lord. I will bring disaster on them, the year of their punishment.” (Jeremiah 23:9-12) Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, October 28th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com). With Wall Street soaring to record highs and worries of an AI bubble, correspondent Lesley Stahl speaks with Andrew Ross Sorkin — one of the most trusted financial reporters of our time — about his new book, “1929,” which examines the market crash a century ago, to explore whether history is about to repeat itself. As the deal brokered by the Trump administration between Israel and Hamas raises hope for broader changes in the Middle East, Margaret Brennan interviews Syria's new president Ahmed Al Sharaa, a former Al Qaeda member, in his first U.S. television interview since taking office. Join Jim and Greg for the Columbus Day 3 Martini Lunch as they rejoice with the freed Israeli hostages. They also examine some serious Democrat hypocrisy over the government shutdown and shake their heads at the people wanting credit for Trump's Middle East deal.First, they are thrilled and relieved that the 20 living Israeli hostages are now free from Hamas captivity. It's a day that many feared would never come. Jim explains why this is the best day of President Trump's second term so far and what he thinks finally got all parties to yes on Trump's plan.Next, they applaud Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan for exposing the shutdown hypocrisy of Sen. Chris Murphy and enjoy Murphy's awkward attempt to defend himself. Jim and Greg also preview what's likely to happen if the partial shutdown drags on for several more weeks. Finally, they shake their heads at the people implying they deserve some credit for the return of the living hostages. From British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Sen. Elizabeth Warren to former Biden Sec. of State Antony Blinken, it's been fascinating and more than a little pathetic to watch. Please visit our great sponsors:Stop putting off those doctors' appointments and go to https://ZocDoc.com/3ML to find and instantly book a top-rated doctor today.Sponsored by Quo, formerly known as Open Phone: Get started free and save 20% on your first 6 months and port your existing numbers at no extra charge—no missed calls, no missed customers. There are certain things that would be a good thing to have. I want them all to be successful." 4:15pm- Nearly a decade later, Hillary Clinton still thinks the results of the 2016 presidential election may not be legitimate—noting, it's “why we still litigate the election.” Who the heck is still “litigating” the 2016 election (aside from her)? 4:20pm- Following Friday's summit in Alaska, Russian President Vladimir Putin hinted that he would not have invaded Ukraine in 2022 had Donald Trump been president of the United States instead of Joe Biden. 4:30pm- In a post to social media, Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity announced she will run for Governor of Pennsylvania—challenging incumbent Josh Shapiro.
