ANGELA'S SYMPOSIUM 📖 Academic Study on Witchcraft, Paganism, esotericism, magick and the Occult
What does it mean to practise Wicca as an initiatory tradition today, and how does the legacy of figures such as Doreen Valiente continue to shape modern Witchcraft? In this livestream, I will be joined by Rufus Harrington, a Wiccan priest and long-standing initiate of the Craft, trustee of the Doreen Valiente Foundation, psychotherapist, and teacher of magical practice. Together, we will explore the history, practice, and inner logic of Wicca beyond the stereotypes: initiation, ritual, secrecy, the Horned God, the role of the priesthood, and the relationship between magic, psychology, and transformation.Rufus brings a rare combination of lived initiatory experience, historical connection to key figures in modern Witchcraft, and professional expertise in psychotherapy. This conversation will be especially valuable for anyone interested in British Traditional Wicca, Alexandrian and Gardnerian lineages, Doreen Valiente, Enochian magic, Pagan priesthood, and the deeper question of how magical traditions survive, adapt, and remain meaningful in the present.CONTACT DETAILS: cbtclinics@btopenworld.comCONNECT & SUPPORT

Send us Fan MailIn this episode of the Magick Kitchen Podcast, Leandra Witchwood and Elyse Welles explore the patriarchal wounding of the divine feminine and what it actually means to reclaim feminine power in a world built on imbalance. This conversation goes far beyond gender binaries and into the spiritual, emotional, and cultural conditioning that teaches people to stay small, abandon themselves, and seek external approval.Together, they unpack the difference between the divine feminine and toxic femininity, the misuse of sacred union in witchcraft history, the wounds created by patriarchy, and the ways those wounds show up in everyday life through self-abandonment, purity culture, people-pleasing, competition, and fear of being seen. They also speak about feminine archetypes, healing, sisterhood, boundaries, and how to return to a more cyclical, embodied, life-giving path.If you are working to heal the feminine wound, reconnect with your intuition, and reclaim your wholeness, this episode is a powerful place to begin. Send us Fan MailIn this episode of the Magick Kitchen Podcast, Leandra Witchwood and Elyse Welles dive deeper into protection magic and the ethical nuance of baneful magick. This is not a fear-driven conversation about cursing for revenge. It is a grounded discussion about boundaries, spiritual self-protection, and what it means to keep yourself safe in difficult times.Together, they explore why protection magic is really a form of boundary-setting, why boundaries can feel painful even when they are necessary, and how mirror spells, bindings, cord cutting, and energetic cleansing can be used without creating harmful ties. They also unpack the difference between banishing and cursing, why intention matters, and how to think about protection in relationships, creative work, and everyday life.If you have ever wondered when stronger magical boundaries are appropriate, how to protect your energy without losing your integrity, or how to cut cords while still holding love, this episode offers a thoughtful, practical place to begin.Join monthly coven classes and experiences. Y'all made this happen...Ignore us conflating secular and non-secular! Along the way, this conversation touches on sigil witchery, creative practice, collaboration, magical resistance, and what it means to let tarot become a living relationship rather than a memorization exercise. If you have ever felt overwhelmed by tarot, or wanted a more intuitive and embodied way into the cards, this episode is a rich and refreshing place to begin. Let's Chat!!Boo, bitches — we're fact-checking the cauldron. In this episode of C3: Crystals, Cauldrons, & Cocktails, we take a calm, clear look at some of the loudest myths floating around witchy spaces:• “You didn't cleanse enough.” • “You'll accidentally summon a demon.” • “Doubt cancels your spell.” • “You're not activated.”Spoiler: magic is not WiFi, demons are not hiding behind your tealight candle, and being human does not disqualify you from practicing. This is not a call-out. Let's Chat!!Welcome back to this mini episode of Cauldrons of Chaos—where the spells are strong, the vibes are aligned, and no one remembers where they put the athame. In this mini episode, we're talking about witchcraft fitness—the very real, very sweaty workout you didn't sign up for but somehow completed anyway. From barefoot sprints across the house mid-ritual, to arm day via stubborn lighters, to core engagement while stirring intentions (and maybe a cocktail), this is the kind of movement no gym app tracks—but your body absolutely does. We're breaking down how spells double as cardio, why sweeping “with intention” is still exercise, and how your familiar is secretly the final boss of functional fitness. No matching leggings required. No aesthetic altar needed. Just candles, chaos, and calves that noticed.Because if you're sweating… the spell is working.Boo-bitches. Stay hydrated.

Together, we explore reclaiming spiritual power, healing the witch wound, dismantling spiritual individualism, and why embodied, community-rooted witchcraft matters now more than ever.We talk about ancestral wisdom, spiritual connection beyond religion, manifesting in a broken system, and the courage it takes to say, “Yes, I'm a witch.”Maritza Schäfer is the founder of Bruja School, where she teaches the Liberation Magic Method. You'll also hear thoughtful discussion on syncretism (when gods and goddesses overlap across cultures), what “perfect love and perfect trust” can mean in lived experience, and how to start small if you think a deity may be reaching out, including the physical signs both hosts and Deborah notice in their own work.Find Deborah at deborahblakeauthor.comLoose-leaf Tea and Sacred Apothecary The Healing Our Feminine Wounding Immersive is a sacred retreat devoted to untangling inherited shame, silence, and survival patterns carried in the feminine body. In February 1933, while the world was entering the age of radio and automobiles, individuals from the town of Soalhaes, Portugal burned a woman accused of witchcraft. The victim was Arminda de Jesus, a 32-year-old mother of two children, known locally for her kindness and for helping her troubled neighbor. That same neighbor would accuse her of witchcraft, leading to an exorcism ritual that spiraled tragically out of control and ended in Arminda's death. Through meticulous research in Portuguese archives, Dr. Inês Tadeu from the University of Madeira has reconstructed this forgotten case using trial records and newspaper accounts. She joins us to discuss how witchcraft beliefs persisted into the twentieth century, and why some communities still struggle to confront these dark aspects of our humanity. Together, we explore how a simple accusation of witchcraft could end in murder in 1930s Europe, and why Arminda's story remained buried for so long. Hail Hekate Triformis, The Triple Goddess. The Unifying The Three Selves Meditation is a foundational practice for connecting with Hekate while aligning our personal energy field consisting of The Three Selves. These three selves represent the lower self (root), the middle self (heart), and the higher self (crown). The meditation process involves connecting with one's breath, relaxing the body, and focusing on the root, heart, and crown selves. By contemplating Hekate Triformis, we perceive our own tri-fold nature mirrored in her three forms. The Unifying The Three Selves Meditation can be found in Keeping Her Keys: An Introduction to Hekate's Modern Witchcraft, Entering Hekate's Garden: The Magick, Medicine and Mystery of Plant Spirit Witchcraft, and Entering Hekate's Cave: The Journey Through Darkness To Wholeness.
