Who is playing real estate in Oregon right now? You might say rates are too high you might think the market will continue to fall but the clients that I am currently working with are some very accomplished real estate investors and they know something that most people don't, being able to control the price is the one advantage you must have for smart purchase. We can use seller contributions to influence the rate and right now All of our deals are lacking in the high threes in mid fours. That's still amazing honestly. If you're saving $100,000 or more up to 500,000 recently I one of our deals that just closed and you can get a decent rate and seller contributions that make it all come together, That's what we call a great deal. If you put off making a purchase thinking things are always going to go in your direction you will be disappointed. How close can you get to the perfect purchase opportunity I don't know but you should be trying to find out. I always say if you can get within 10% of a high or low you stand to make a very considerable profit at some point in the future. Central Oregon also has a serious rental housing problem. Like most places we need more properties that are available for rent getting a smart purchase price just means it's easier for you to offer a better monthly rate and also still cash flow. I'm Paul Frazier and I would love to assist you in the process of purchasing Realestate and Central Oregon.

The Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade was not a surprise after a draft opinion eliminating the right to abortion was leaked in early May. Even before the the 50-year-old decision protecting federal rights of those seeking abortions was overturned, access to the procedure had been dwindling for years in many states. In recent years, the Oregon legislature created a fund to help those in-state and out-of-state with expenses needed to access abortion care here. Also being canonized are four Catholic female leaders, all of whom founded religious orders which have grown worldwide and made a lasting impact on the Church. In another incident, a Catholic church in northern Colorado known for its active pro-life ministry was vandalized with pro-abortion graffiti over the weekend. The offices of Oregon Right to Life in Keizer, Oregon, were set on fire late Sunday night, the organization announced Monday. Oregon has been America's grim national leader on the issue of suicide since 1994, when Oregonians voted 51% to 49% to make suicide lawful by means of a physician-furnished lethal overdose. Since the lifting of a 1997 injunction that had delayed the availability of physician-prescribed self harm for Oregonians, thousands have died from suicide by overdose. Every life lost has come at least partially as a result of the lie that suicide can be medicinal—as if physicians or so-called caretakers administering a fatal overdose could call that deadly act “healthcare”. What was true yesterday remains true today—the role of the physician is never to intentionally cause harm—it is, rather, to heal and to cure. Lois Anderson, Executive Director of Oregon Right to Life, joins Tom Shakely and Noah Brandt to share Oregon's experience with suicide and lessons from the front lines of Oregon's suicide prevention efforts, her work with Oregon Right to Life across the spectrum of issues, and how advocates everywhere can protect those in their communities who most at risk to forms of self-harm and violence.

In today's News: Pro-Life Action League founder passes  Joe Scheidler, founder of the Pro-Life Action League, received his eternal reward Jan. 18 at the age of 93. He was affectionately dubbed the “godfather of the pro-life movement” and a “racketeer for life.” The announcement was made on social media by the Pro-Life Action League. Scheidler, a former Benedictine monk and journalism professor, was active in the pro-life movement for decades and may be best known for being a named plaintiff in the RICO lawsuit, NOW v. Scheidler, a landmark case that went to the U.S. Supreme Court three times. With help from the Thomas More Society, the plaintiffs, including Scheidler, prevailed in protecting the free speech rights of pro-lifers.  Oregon abortion business closes  An abortion business in Oregon that killed babies in abortions for almost 50 years has finally closed. Oregon’s largest independent and oldest abortion company, Lovejoy Surgicenter, has closed, just shy of 50 years in business. The abortion center killed babies in abortions up to 24 weeks into pregnancy, when unborn children are viable and can survive outside the womb. Lois Anderson, the director of Oregon Right to Life, told LifeNews.com she was excited by the news. Lovejoy Surgicenter conducts abortions through 24 weeks of pregnancy. Those done between 20-24 weeks, 5-6 months gestation, abortions are three-day procedures, according to the abortion facility’s website. These abortions carry more risks, and life-threatening complications can occur that the outpatient facility is not equipped to handle. However, the closing may be short lived. According to Anderson, a Seattle-based abortion practitioner has purchased the abortion center and will be reopening it in March. The Lovejoy web site indicates it will reopen at a new location on March 1, “under new management.”  Court halts religious discrimination policy  The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit’s decision last Friday to grant a preliminary injunction in the lawsuit A.H. v. French that stops Vermont officials from excluding religious-school students from the state’s dual enrollment program, which had allowed public, private secular and home-school students to enroll at not cost to them in two college courses before graduating high school but denies that same opportunity to religious-school students. Attorneys for a high school student, her parents and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington filed the lawsuit in district court. They argued that the recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions in Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue and in the Alliance Defending Freedom caseTrinity Lutheran Church v. Comer, support ending Vermont’s discrimination in its dual enrollment program.  Transgender law put on hold  A federal court in North Dakota just blocked a requirement known as the transgender mandate that would force medical professionals and religious hospitals to perform gender transition procedures on their patients — including children — even when the procedures are potentially harmful.

JOIN US!DONATEStanding for parents rights in education should be clear, and non-controversial, unless you are a Marxist and think public school teachers and medical professionals should make decisions for, and shape your child's worldview. That's why my topic today is so concerning. I'll explain.Oregon PRIE opened a PAC this election cycle. Because I have run for state legislative office a couple of times, I completely understand the process, but more importantly the need to make the Parents' Rights In Education Issues relevant, on a legislative level is mandatory. We have to change laws and in order to do that, we have to change lawmakers! In addition, where better to inform and debate the issue than on the political stage, during the election cycle. And who better to carry the torch than candidates, especially those who have children of their own?  We crafted a Questionnaire for candidates, and asking them to fill it. Our endorsement follows. Give me a few to share it with you. I am curious what you think. OREGON CANDIDATE SURVEY“Do you support the following? Teachers, counselors, administrators, and school board members shall honor the constitutional and statutory rights of parents/guardians affirming the parent-child relationship?”“Do you oppose K-12 public schools Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) curriculum addressing sexual relations and related activities, designed to challenge or change traditional sexual and gender norms of society? If adopted, CSE shall be an elective.”“Do you support the following? OPT-IN Policies: School officials shall adopt “OPT-IN” policies to replace “OPT-OUT” policies with respect to student participation in medical, social, family questionnaires and surveys.”“Do you believe all students shall have the right to have their viewpoints respected, allowed and expressed on an equal basis with other student viewpoints in curriculum and curriculum-related matters.”“Do you believe the best way to assure the rights of parents/guardians to raise and educate their children according to their sincerely-held values and beliefs is to provide competitive statewide school choice alternatives?”Several candidates approached us to endorse them during the primary. And several since then. But there are many conservatives who have held back. Do they see this as a hot potato, one they cannot touch? Really? What is not to support?Oregon Right to Life just published their Voters' Guide, and many candidates chose to align with that issue, even though Oregon is the only state in America with NO protective pro-life laws. Oregon also legalized abortion before the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling.Republican candidates seem to have no problem aligning with the Pro-Life stand and yet, do not believe in Parents' Rights to direct the education of their children. What is the value in elections, win or lose? It's important to stay engaged in the process, even though we are not so popular. In 2012 I ran for the Oregon Senate against an incumbent Democrat. Voter registration was impossible to overcome. We engaged more volunteers in our campaign than most others. Our campaign was positive and gave hope to the voters who share our views. We raised money and moved the dial in our favor several points and volunteers placed signs everywhere. It was one of the most positive races, ever. And we informed voters!I am concerned with some candidates' lack of integrity to stand for what they believe. Where is the integrity in avoiding an issue that will come up later, and require a vote? Next time around ifSupport the show (https://www.parentsrightsined.com/support-the-cause.html)

Thanks once again for joining me this week for Episode 10 of the Behind the Curtain Podcast. This is our 11th episode, but it’s only Episode 10, because we had a bonus track last week. Gonna need to talk to the boss about the math here. Anyway, you really should check out the two episodes last week if you haven’t already. This week’s episode features a discussion about the history and future of the American Tea Party Movement, and another about the seedy and seamy side of local politics. Both guests show that all politics is local. My first guest is my good friend Brad Marston. Brad co-founded Four Tier Strategies, a political consulting firm, after being a founding organizer of the 2009 Boston Tea Party. Brad and I go way back to the founding of the American Tea Party movement. April 15 marked the ten year anniversary of the explosion of the movement into American politics. Brad and I talk about the massive impact we had, where the movement is today, how it coexists with the Trump presidency, and where we go in the future. Also, you get to hear Brad talk about Joe Biden’s affinity for 12 year old girls. Good times. Brad is currently involved with The Wounded Blue, which he describes as Wounded Warriors for domestic first responders. You can find more information at www.thewoundedblue.org, and contribute at gofundme.com/the-wounded-blue. Brad is on Twitter at @BradMarston. A quick note for our Patreon patrons: no bonus segment this week. Scheduling was a challenge this week, and we did not have enough time to set aside a bonus segment. BUT – Brad’s segment goes extra long, so for one week only, you basically get bonus content for free. You can check out previous bonus segments with guests like Stephen Kruiser, Rebecca Friedrichs, Michael Loftus, and many others, at patreon.com/BehindtheCurtainWithJeffReynolds. My second segment is a conversation with a school board member running for reelection here in Oregon. Marty Heyen sits on the Salem-Keizer School Board, and has come under fire recently by an extreme progressive group for the sin of holding the endorsement of Oregon Right to Life. We talk about these social media attacks she’s endured, the extreme sex education agenda they’re pushing in our schools, and how the radical progressives have organized themselves to take out common sense conservatives at every level. You can find her contact info and social media sites at heyenfororegon.com. Don’t forget to subscribe to the Behind the Curtain podcast wherever you listen to it, and please leave a positive rating. The more subscribers and the better ratings, the higher Behind the Curtain will rank on podcast services like iTunes and Google Podcasts, among MANY OTHERS. I’m happy to report that my book continues to generate buzz. It’s called Behind the Curtain: Inside the Network of Progressive Billionaires and their Campaign to Undermine Democracy. I saw a nice spike in sales last week after my appearance at Dorchester, and the reviews have been stellar. Search for it in stores, or online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Simon and Schuster.
