Rose was a free spirted, hitchhiker who spent most of her time with truck drivers in the 1990's. She loved the energy she got from the open road, seeing new places and things and being free. Originally from Grand Rapids Iowa, she loved it when she found a trucker going south. In 1991 she was 32 years old and 24 weeks pregnant. Her body was found on Saturn Parkway at the off ramp for Port Royal Road in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Pamela Rose, la série “Mais qui veut tuer internet?” (Canal+, 20 novembre) Cette fois-ci, Kad et O. doivent échapper à la sanction de la commission de discipline suite à une bavure et décident de retourner sur le terrain pour enquêter sur un mystérieux serial killer qui s'attaque aux youtubeurs. Vieillissants, les deux flics sont dépassés par cette nouvelle génération de célébrités d'internet mais vont néanmoins tenter de résoudre cette nouvelle affaire, car rien n'est trop difficile pour Richard Bullit et Douglas Riper. 2. «Tout va bien» (Disney+, 15 novembre) Certains projets n'ont pas besoin de concept fort pour donner envie. C'est le cas de cette chronique sur une famille secouée par l'annonce de la grave maladie d'un de ses enfants. Un drame intimiste voulu naturaliste, scénarisé par certaines des meilleures jeunes plumes françaises (Camille de Castelnau, Gaëlle Bellan, Benjamin Adam), réalisé par Éric Rochant (Le Bureau des légendes), Cathy Verney (Hard) et Audrey Estrougo (Suprêmes) et incarné notamment par Virginie Efira, Nicole Garcia et Sara Giraudeau… Sur le papier, tout va même très bien. 2bis. L'affaire Bettencourt: “scandale chez la femme la plus riche du monde” (Netflix - 3 épisodes) L'amour du fric peut conduire à toutes les bassesses. Voilà ce que démontre cette série documentaire de haute tenue où on retiendra in fine que si Françoise Bettencourt a fini par récupérer ce qui lui revenait de droit, l'héritage de sa mère, elle n'aura jamais pu obtenir l'essentiel, l'amour de sa mère. Un doc passionnant avec archives, entretiens de protagonistes et reconstitutions de scènes dont le son provient d'enregistrements réels. 3. "White House Plumbers" (RTS, dès le 30nov. 00h01 sur PlayRTS et le 30nov. 22h00 sur RTS2/en intégralité du 7 au 30 décembre). Série HBO avec Woody Harrelson (vu dans True detective 1), qui revient sur l'affaire "Watergate". 1974. E. Howard Hunt et G. Les noms de Bullit et Riper vous rappellent quelque chose ? Sûrement le film d'Eric Lartigau écrit par Kad Merad, Olivier Baroux le duo iconique et avec eux-mêmes en rôles principaux. C'était il y a 20 ans avec Mais qui a tué Pamela Rose ?. Neuf ans plus tard, ils remettaient leurs costumes d'agents du FBI pour un second opus Mais qui a re-tué Pamela Rose ? et aujourd'hui, c'est au tour de la série Pamela Rose d'arriver sur Canal+. Pour échapper à une sanction de la commission de discipline du FBI, les agents Richard Bullit (Kad Merad) et Douglas Riper (Olivier Baroux) retournent sur le terrain. Ils doivent arrêter un mystérieux tueur en série qui s'attaque à des youtubeurs stars d'internet. Une enquête d'autant plus compliquée que les deux agents cachent la bavure qu'ils ont commise en provoquant, malgré eux, la mort accidentelle de leur premier suspect. Pour enquêter, Bullit et Riper se portent volontaires alors qu'ils n'ont aucune idée de ce que impliquent les réseaux sociaux. À part ça, les humoristes et les têtes connues avec pleines de références sont foison. On a par exemple Grégoire Ludig en shérif du comté qui sort tranquillement « je ne suis pas très vedette » avec un gros clin d'œil à sa comédie Les vedettes de l'an dernier. Et tout au long de la saison, ce sera des références plus ou moins subtiles qui viendront saupoudrer une petite note d'humour. De nouveaux visages rajeunissent la série avec notamment Shirine Boutella en Carson qui devient l'élément perturbateur. Puis s'ensuit une liste bien garnie de personnages plus ou moins récurrents parmi Mélanie Doutey, Ophélia Kolb, Panayotis Pascot, Claudia Tagbo, Mister V, etc. Humour absurde, action, les plus nostalgiques seront comblés. L'écriture joue la carte ancienne garde contre nouvelle garde, où Bullit et Riper semblent être dépassés mais réussissent quand même à faire mouche par hasard. À côté, leurs histoires personnelles avec Bullit qui va se marier et Riper qui rencontre quelqu'un, il n'y a pas que le dossier en cours qui compte. Time Management Workshop Letting go of chaos. Language of Letting Go, Melodie Beatty What causes chaos? Well, what causes chaos is control. "No good work comes from unrest." And what I have learned about that is how true that is. Because if I don't rest, if I don't fuel up, I cannot be of service to other people around me. Wake up in the morning and say "Good morning, universe. This is Peter, Pamela Rose, and I am showing up for duty." And I know that kind of sounds crazy, but it takes a lot of pressure off the day. When I get overwhelmed, all I need to do is simply ask for help, ask for strength, ask for wisdom. And what does that look like? I'll do it right now. "Give me strength. Please guide me. Show me, show me what it is you want me to do. Show me the things that you need me to do today so I can be of maximum service to other people on this planet." "Unrest, fear, anger, or sadness may motivate us. These feelings are sometimes intended to compel action. But our best work emerges after these feelings have been replaced by peace. We will not accomplish our task any sooner or any better by performing it out of a sense of urgency, fear, anger or sadness." And that's also why I think it's so important to do what I just did: stop and take a step back. And asking for wisdom and asking for guidance and asking for strength, asking for concentration, asking for brainpower. Or for more bandwidth. "Let go of unrest. Let peace fill the void. We do not have to forfeit our power, our God-given or universe-given personal power, or our peace. Our peace to do the work as we are called upon to do today." And again, sometimes I need to think that what the universe wants me to get done in a day and what Peter Pamela Rose wants to get done in a day are often two very different things. And the universe is much kinder. What's amazing about that is that I can plug into that universe any time I can ask for that guidance. I can. Ask for that peace. I can ask for that wisdom. And I love that phrase "to do what we are called upon to do today," because I'm only responsible for today. I only need to do today.  I can't live for yesterday. I can plan for tomorrow. I can prepare for tomorrow. I can do something today that my inner self will thank me for a year from now. But the fact of the matter is, I can only do today. And that acknowledgment helps to let go of the chaos. "We will be given all the power we need to do what we are meant to do when it is time. Let peace come first. Or I like to say let prayer come first or let asking come first, then proceed. The task will get done naturally and on time." You're taking your hands off the wheel and trusting the universe, which is the pilot, to steer.

The B-Flat Piano Sonata D960, which Schubert completed two months before his death, in 1828, is a vast and complex work. It’s the last of a triptych of piano sonatas that Schubert wrote, possibly in response to the death of his hero Beethoven the year before. Schubert had been a pallbearer at Beethoven’s funeral. In this programme, pianists Imogen Cooper, Steven Osborne and James Lisney consider what it’s like to play this work. Jazz and blues vocalist Pamela Rose has developed a captivating showpiece entitled “Wild Women of Song” celebrating the lives, times and music of the women songwriters of Tin Pan Alley. This presentation focuses on the women songwriters of this era who happened to be Jewish.

Kirsty Young's castaway is Pamela Rose. Now aged 97, she was a Bletchley Girl who spent her war years working in total secrecy, painstakingly indexing snippets of information that would prove vital to the the war effort. Alan Turing and his fellow cryptanalysts would eventually break the Enigma Code and it's said that this breakthrough shortened the war by two years. Born into a musical family, she first took to the stage at boarding school. Pamela's lifelong ambition to be an actress was interrupted by the war and the invitation to work at Bletchley. Despite finding the work in the indexing section of Hut 4 something of a disappointment at first, she and her fellow workers still managed to have fun and she met her husband Jim at a hop when he asked her to dance. They married after the war and it wasn't until nearly sixty years later and after Jim's death that she would finally achieve her dream of acting on the West End stage. Producer: Cathy Drysdale.
