AT&T has announced a change to how its Unlimited plans work, and it now allows customers - specifically families - to combine different plans under the same account. This lets each person pick out a different plan for their service line, so each person can get the plan that fits their usage, while also benefiting from the lower prices of combining multiple lines. On the other hand, two major department stores that are part of the Promenade Shopping Center are in their final days. A rededication of a percentage of the sales tax revenue goes toward the 4A economic development corporation. • A former grocery store at 2601 King St. is seeing new life, as crews have been renovating the 17,000-square-foot building, most recently the home of Migalito's Supermercado until it closed in September 2017. Roberto Meza, who originally opened the Supermercado in 2006, has returned to reopen it as the Fresco Supermarket. • The J.C. Penney store in Greenville is scheduled to close its doors this summer, according to an announcement in June from the company's corporate office. Juelz Santana is now a free man. The Dipset rapper was released from prison Wednesday, following a week-long delay. Santana's wife, Kimbella, confirmed the big news minutes before he walked out of the Petersburg Medium Federal Correctional Institution in Hopewell, Virginia. "Juelz was supposed to get released last Tuesday but some shit happened," she said in a video posted to Santana's Instagram page. "But we're outside of the prison now and he's gonna be released any minute. And I'll leave it all up to him when he gets out. Stay tuned!" Santana received a 27-month prison sentence in late 2018 for gun- and drug-related charges. The now-38-year-old rapper fled Newark Liberty International Airport in March of that year after TSA agents discovered a loaded handgun and eight oxycodone pills inside his carry-on. Former Oklahoma star, Cincinnati Bengals first-rounder Rickey Dixon succumbs to ALS at 53 Rickey Dixon, an All-American at Oklahoma, and a first-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, has died at 53 after battling the dreaded disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Dixon was diagnosed with ALS in 2013. At 3 o'clock this afternoon the passing of Ricky Dixon! He died in his home in DeSoto Texas with his family around him! He was inducted into the college football Hall of Fame this past year! He was one of the greatest players ever played the Sooners! Dixon joined OU in 1984 and was a mainstay in the secondary. Known as a ferocious hitter, Dixon notched 170 tackles, 23 pass break-ups and 17 interceptions as a Sooner. At the time, his 17 picks were second in school history. The Sooners went 42-5-1 during Dixon's four years and played in the Orange Bowl each season. The 1985 team beat Penn State in the Orange Bowl to capture the Sooners' sixth national championship. All-American Thorpe Award winner National champion Hall of Famer Dixon was drafted fifth overall in the 1988 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. He played in Super Bowl XXIII for Cincinnati against San Francisco. He played there for five seasons before joining the Los Angeles Raiders in 1993 in his final professional season.
