This weeks crew: Webby, Darren, Nick, Graham We spend an hour discussing Xbox and the fall out of raising the price of Gamepass, all Xbox Studio games being muti-platform and what this means for the gamers. We also discuss Xbox rumoured to be leaving the console business and the fallout of stores not stocking the consoles or games. Playstation Slim now has a smaller hard drive and EA being bought out by the Saudi's. Games we have played include: GT7, Cronos, Batman Telltale, Sword of the Sea, Puzzle Quest, Astrobot, Star Citizen, F1 25, Goldeneye, Mario Galaxy, Earthion, Ghost of Yotei, and more. https://www.patreon.com/360gamercast https://discord.gg/CqDMSg9 https://www.facebook.com/groups/360gamercast/ https://twitter.com/Webby360G https://twitter.com/360GamerCast All Access Patrons - John Smith
Download Episode 1082 – Oh we’ve got a fun one this week as we’ve got Garth Noyce of Triple Eh? joining the show to chat Lumo 2, and a LOT more. The show kicks off with Bri Galgano and Aki on hand as we welcome Gareth Noyce from Triple Eh? back to the show for his second visit. First visit was for Lumo 1 back on Episode 199. And we’re all still doing this. We chat about the game’s history, changes compared to the first title, discussions about sales between platforms, and those ducks. Hot damn do we talk about those friggin ducks… Jacob Garner shows up somewhere in there. After a while, we shift the talk to news of the week including the horrible news that EA sold out to Kooshner and The Saudis that was somehow eclipsed by Microsoft’s WORSE news of upping the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate by 50% from $19.99 to a whopping $29.99 a MONTH. We discuss the move, the “additions” to the tier including Fortnite crew junk none of us actually want, and our fears about Microsoft and the Xbox brand in general. Did we mention Gareth was a long time Xbox employee? He has opinions! Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is getting delisted in November, Rock Band 4 is getting delisted like tomorrow, and four Puzzle Quest games are already delisted. But hey! A new Pinball FX table got announced! Ball Squad!

In this episode, we discover the mystery of Cicada 3301 with Peter. Cicada 3301 all started from a post on the message board 4chan, and led Cryptographers on a chase for about a month through some of the world's most complicated and interesting puzzles, until a few managed to get to the end. Then, it returned for two more years, finally with an encoded book that is, at the time of the release of this episode, unsolved. We're sorry, the song mentioned in the episode and supposedly played in the episode did not transfer, so you cannot hear it from us. In the story, Seth arrives to help- but he is different than what we thought. Finally, we share a couple other internet puzzle mysteries. The Background music in this episode is by Bio Unit, RomanSenykMusic, fanchisanches, and Music Unlimited, and our theme is "Mosquito" by Caspar Babypants. You can contact the show hereorYou can contact us on this text line. This week Eric and Nicky discuss Puzzle Quest in a puzzling episode of Press any Button. Puzzle Quest is a RPG tile-based puzzle game developed by Infinite Interactive. Taking place in a high fantasy setting, the player moves his or her character around the game's world and encounters monsters and other enemies to fight so as to gain experience and acquire treasure as in a typical role-playing game. Combat takes place on a board similar to Bejeweled, and by making matches of colored gems, the combatants can cause damage to their opponents, cast spells, or perform other abilities that affect the flow of the game. About us: Press Any Button hosts Nicky (a new gamer) and Eric (a lifetime gamer) are a married couple who both love video games. For every video game they will discuss its past (history of the game, developers story, and fun facts), present (game play, game review and strategy), and future (will there be a sequel?? A movie?) BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE… Every game also comes with a challenge presented by the host that chose the game. If the challenge is not completed then whoever failed has to do a video game rap! So if you want to learn more about video games, hear some nerdy video game raps, or just have a good time this is the podcast for you. We try to cover all types of video games including: Retro and New video games - PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, Sega, and PC games - Any and all genres including RPG, Simulation, Beat em up, platforming, mystery, first person shooter, sandbox, puzzle, action adventure, etc. Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pressanybutton_podcast/ Credits: Nicky Smith Eric Luedtke Music by Eric Stetson and Mark Spurlock References: https://www.polygon.com/features/2013/11/6/4864296/puzzle-quest-steve-fawkner https://venturebeat.com/2021/01/14/505-games-acquires-puzzle-quest-studio-infinity-plus-two/ https://www.polygon.com/2021/1/21/22242309/puzzle-quest-3-trailer-release-platforms

It’s a quick one this week since we’ve been too busy watching The International 5 instead of playing games, but we manage to get in a few. Emilio is all over the new Team Fortress 2 update: Gun Mettle. Chad plays Puzzle Quest and Bobby plays more Heroes of the Storm and even a little Dota 2. We totally spaced on the Review Giveaway and forgot to do it on this episode so we’ll be doing two next week.
