Cette semaine sort en kiosque le numéro d'été de Siné Mensuel, la feuille satirique créée par Siné en réponse à son éviction de Charlie Hebdo. Passé d'hebdo à mensuel, continué au-delà du décès de son fondateur en 2016, « le journal qui fait mal et ça fait du bien », désormais dirigé par l'épouse du dessinateur, Catherine Sinet, avait enfanté « une petite sœur », « Siné Madame » en 2019, uniquement fait par des autrices de l'équipe. Les ennuis de santé de la fondatrice avaient entraîné son arrêt provisoire. Mais on ne décourage pas si facilement Catherine Sinet, 81 ans, journaliste, éditrice, grande femme de presse, qui relance cette semaine dans un numéro en tête-bêche le « Journal qui ne simule pas. » C'était l'occasion idéale pour lui tendre notre micro. Elle grandit dans une famille bourgeoise et passe sa scolarité dans un pensionnat en Angleterre, puis en Allemagne. Elle se marie une première fois, à l'âge de 18 ans, et déménage à Ibiza. Quelques années de voyage plus tard, elle rencontre Maurice Sinet, dit Siné, alors caricaturiste à Charlie Hebdo. En 2008, le dessinateur est licencié de la rédaction de l'hebdomadaire et fonde son propre magazine Siné Mensuel. A sa mort, Catherine Sinet reprendra la direction de la publication du mensuel. En 2019, elle crée Siné Madame, un magazine satirique composée entièrement de dessinatrices. Vieille Branche est une émission de Nouvelles écoutes, animée par Marie Misset.
