The One with Kendrick D. Carter of Providence Tarot ! The Fool card and the 3 of Wands continue to guided us through October. And this week's message is Death/Rebirth, letting us know this is a time of shedding that which doesnt serve us to allow a rebirth period to enter with the new moon in Libra on Monday the 8th. This week also brings us Kendrick D. Carter of Providence Tarot. Kendrick has a You Yube station of the same name and reads at Aum Shanti and various events across the city. In this episode, Kendrick shares the process of how he started reading tarot, the importance of paying attention to the universe's signs, and why he loves the Death Card. What Am I listening to? Host Cardsy B is a fashion industry survivor, tarot reader, and creator of the Badass Bitches Tarot by Cardsy B deck. Through intuitive readings served with a side of pop culture, Cardsy B offers an entertaining intro to the world of Tarot. Who the F is Cardsy B? Rebecca “Bex” Szymczak- aka Cardsy B- picked up her first deck of tarot cards at age eleven. After abandoning them to fit in with the cool kids in high school she eventually worked her way up the fashion industry by designing for DKNY, NIKE, and eventually serving as Creative Director/VP of Design for Playboy. After experiencing several traumatic losses in a period of five years, (Saturn return back to back with Saturn in her sun sign!) she pulled herself out of a pretty tragic Millennial meltdown using Tarot as healing tool. Eventually this passion for Tarot led to increased bookings as a Tarot reader at events around NYC and in person and via skype to private clients. To help herself dive even deeper into the cards, Bex illustrated her own deck by hand and is committed to helping others grow and heal through tarot in an approachable and fun way. This Week's Guest; James Beattie Welcome to this week's featured episode, we are excited to be learning about the essentials in drop shipping & e-commerce. One question that myself and Brad have asked each other on numerous occasions is "What is drop shipping?". So we thought, why not bring an expert on the show to explain this to us. The drop shipping industry is something that had no previous knowledge on, we had touched on e-commerce in a few of our previous episodes, but we wanted to dive into more detail on drop shipping specifically. This week's guest is an absolute genius when it comes to drop shipping and e-commerce, he has a proven track record as his bank account has the figures to prove it. James Beattie is 20 years of age and lives in Northern Ireland, at age 18 he decided that a corporate career wasn't going to satisfy his entrepreneurial hunger. He is going to be telling us how he has built a seven figure business in the space of 1 year through the use of drop shopping. Although he is only 20 years old, James isn't an overnight success. Having started his journey building and "flipping" website on freelancer websites. While at his corporate job, he learnt how to do a similar process on Instagram, by building and selling pages or ad-space on them. James is going to be going into a lot of detail on how he turned what was just a by-chance opportunity into a full-scale business. http://stageonestartup.com/ep058
Stage One Startup: Interviews with Influential Entrepreneurs & Innovative Startups
This Week's Guest; Andres Ocampo Andres Ocampo, today’s guest on our program, saw exactly that and decided to do something about it. At 19 years old, he -- along with his business partner David -- launched ENTRPRNR Lifestyle, an apparel company dedicated to providing the younger generation with inspiration and the confidence to pursue their journeys to success. Andres, who was born in Cali, Colombia (which he points out is the setting for the Netflix hit Narcos), moved to Miami as a child and has lived there ever since. While in college in Florida, an early failure of another idea led him to come up with the concept of ENTRPRNR. Instead of falling into the easy trap of putting off the idea for later, he and David launched the company in May 2015 with just $3,000. They began with an order of just 108 shirts and used Andres’ mother’s living room as their first workspace. Their idea and hard work paid off, with $100,000 in sales in the first 12 months. The brand’s reach now encompasses celebrities including Flo Rida and Travis Barker. In this podcast, you’ll hear Andres recounting how he started the brand, offering tips that he wishes he had known in the beginning, and explaining the value of social media. Perhaps most importantly, he both directly and indirectly explores his inspiring and motivational motto: “Stagnancy is the enemy, action is king.” For full show notes; http://stageonestartup.com/ep056

This Week's Guest; Rob Fajardo Even more than usual, this episode is for millennials, by millennials! We’re both 23(ish), and so is this week’s guest, Rob Fajardo. In fact, Leave Normal Behind is the name of his brand, and Leave Normal Behind TV has just launched! In today’s episode, Rob talks about lots of depth about LNB TV, explaining what it is, what it offers audiences, how you can watch it, and where he expects it to be in five years.
