Culture beyond Time and Space. Being lived in Taiwan for 20 years, Hellen Söderberg is now back to her first homeland. From a children's TV show host and a drama scriptwriter in Stockholm, Hellen left to an unknown world she had never anticipated. Taiwan becomes a cradle for her explosive talent on creativity. Taiwanese people's kindness, curiosity and interests to the foreigner, Taiwanese rustic worn-out paint antique cabinet door, Taiwanese mountain range scenery, the handicraft wholesale shop's ribbons, and even a friend's surprise party, all shapes colour, texture, and creative process on canvas. Coming back to Sweden, she brings back 20-year and tons of life memories, faces, and lots of love from her Taiwanese sisters, soul friends and Taiwan.~~~ Photos:Hellen SöderbergHellen Ain't no mountain high enough by Marvin Gay & Tammi Terrell~~~The upcoming exhibitions Staffliets vänner at Kulturvaket during Sollentuna's Culture FestivalMay 6 | 4:00 PM–8:15 PMStallbacken, SollentunaGroup Exhibition – Ateljéföreningen EdsvikDates: May 31, June 1, 6, 7, and 8Location: Stallbacken Hellen 的網站連結hellensoderberg.cominstagram.com/art_by_sodiHellen's scrapbooking: facebook.com/scrapmoment2000And of course Hellen's "Things with faces" on FB 臉書. facebook.com/groups/172611462875426

"All those moments led to this. All the hard work really, truly pays off." In 2022, Sharon Lokedi made her marathon debut at the TCS New York City Marathon. It went pretty well for a first-timer: She won. Since then, Sharon has raced often and well, usually finding herself on a podium just behind frequent competitor and friend Hellen Obiri. Sharon finished second to Hellen in Boston last year, and finished just off the podium in fourth at last summer's Paris Olympics — again, just behind Hellen. So this year, Sharon lined up in Boston ready to see if she could overtake the two-time defending champion — and the rest of the field. You know how it played out: Sharon won the 2025 Boston Marathon in a personal best time of 2:17:22. In this conversation, the Kenyan-born, Flagstaff-based Under Armour Dark Sky Distance athlete talks about what it took to break the tape that Monday in Boston. She talks her childhood as the oldest of four kids being raised by a single mom, and about the adjustment when she came to the United States for college. And, of course, she breaks down race day in Boston, including how she felt that morning, whether she had a feeling it was going to be her day, and how she celebrated afterward (hello, new Gucci bag!). "How can I not have success when I have this many people coming and supporting me?" On the Friday before the Boston Marathon, I hosted a panel at the race expo featuring three of Shokz-sponsored athletes: Hellen Obiri, Conner Mantz, and Dakotah Popehn. Hellen entered the race at the two-time defending champion, and she went on to finish second in 2:17:41, a significant personal best in a fast, gritty race. Conner, one of the best professional marathoners the United States has ever seen, ran hard and with heart, finishing fourth in 2:05:08, just seconds off the podium. And Dakotah, the smiley, speedy Paris Olympian, finished 16th in 2:26:09. In this conversation, these three runners talked about what success in Boston would look like for each of them and, of course, talked about what they like to listen to on the run, and shared their favorite sights and sounds of the Boston Marathon.

“We're kind of on this journey to the marathon. The next logical step is a half marathon. That will be in the new year. We don't know exactly where yet but we want to go attack a half marathon. That's what all the training is focused on and that's why it's been so fun. Not that the training is easy but it's the training that comes the most naturally to me.” My guest for today's episode is U.S. Olympian Joe Klecker of the On Athletics Club. He joins us with some news that he's gearing up for his half marathon debut in early 2025 after a challenging comeback from injury. Joe is back and looking to tackle a new distance with a keen eye on Ryan Hall's American record in the half marathon. While his 2024 outdoor season was sidelined by a torn abductor, he's now fully focused on the 13.1 mile distance. He doesn't say it, but I think all signs point that it will likely be at the Houston Half Marathon in January, which is traditionally perfect weather and very fast. And while he's not quite ready to step away from the track just yet, Joe is already embracing the marathon mindset and this is one step forward to getting to the full distance with a personal best of 12:54 for 5K and 27:07 for 10K. Joe's incredible speed and dedication are setting him up for a strong entry into the longer distance. So in this episode, we'll hear about his approach to injury recovery, his plans for that debut, all with the guidance of his coach Dathan Ritzenhein and the support of his training partner and Olympic medalist, Hellen Obiri. He also shares why he's hoping for one more team on the track. Many thanks to New York Road Runners for allowing us to host this conversation in front of an audience at the Citizens Bank stage at the TCS New York City Marathon Expo. The final World Marathon Major of 2024 is almost here! In a banner year for road running, it's hard to imagine how anything could top the Olympics, a historic Chicago, or even the early thrills of the U.S. Trials, but NYC has assembled a field full of living legends, rising stars, and fascinating narratives primed to end the year on a high note. Three 2024 Olympic medalists are hitting the five boroughs: Olympic champion Tamirat Tola of Ethiopia, silver medalist Bashir Abdi of Belgium, and bronze medalist Hellen Obiri of Kenya. Obiri and Tola also happen to be the reigning NYC champions, and Obiri will be trying to win the Boston-New York double for the second straight year. Five other former NYC champions are in the mix (three men and two women), plus a pair of stacked U.S. fields vying to produce top-10 overall finishes… or even higher. So how did these two little parallel lines come to mean - Is equal to? This episode begins with a story that goes back almost 1,000 years to reveal the answer. Source: Professor Stewart's Hoard of Mathematical Treasures (https://amzn.to/3RhUt8l) Do you feel safe? Do know what you would do if someone attacked you or broke into your home? Are you doing all you can to keep you and your family out of harm's way? Perhaps most importantly, are sure you or your home are not an easy target for criminals? These are important questions we should all be asking ourselves according to Spencer Coursen. Spencer is a nationally recognized threat management expert and author of the book The Safety Trap: A Security Expert's Secrets for Staying Safe in a Dangerous World (https://amzn.to/3gtV5pp). Listen and you will feel better about staying safe in an uncertain world. Probably everyone has something about themselves they would like to change. But as we all know, change is hard. But what if it could be easier than you think? And what if you didn't really have to change as much as you might think? That's what Nicole Vignola is here to discuss. Nicole is a neuroscientist and organizational consultant and author of the book Rewire: Break the Cycle, Alter Your Thoughts and Create Lasting Change (https://amzn.to/3KAmZOO) If you have a lawn, you have likely come to hate the dandelion. It is a prolific weed that drives people crazy. Actually, it didn't start out that way. The dandelion was deliberately brought to North America and is used in some surprising ways. And insects love dandelions. Listen as I reveal why. http://www.gardenguides.com/76016-dandelion-flower.html PLEASE SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS! For bingeing, Big Pops watched the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith TV show, Red Notice, Community, and “As You Wish” on CD. "I've been to three Olympics and in two Olympics, I've gotten number two. I do believe if I will be one of them representing Kenya, it will be my biggest opportunity to show I've been doing this on the track but now I'm a marathoner. This time it will be that time to get that gold that I've been looking for so many years." The last time Hellen Obiri was a guest on the CITIUS MAG Podcast was way back in 2022 when she sat down with us at the World Championships in Eugene. That was just months before she made her marathon debut. Now, she's one of the best in the world. Last year, she won the Boston and New York City Marathons to really showcase her potential over the 26.2 mile distance. In less than two weeks, she will attempt to defend her title in Boston and hopefully do enough to impress Athletics Kenya's team of selectors who will announce their marathon team for the Paris Olympics following the spring slate of marathons. I believe she would be Kenya's best chance at gold, especially given the hilly nature of the Olympic marathon course. Obiri is a two-time Olympic silver medalist in the 5000 meters. She knows that Olympic gold medal is something she wants to check off before she's done running. We talk Boston, Paris and more. In this episode rerun, hear Hellen Ward (@hellenward), industry-renowned hair and beauty consultant and co-founder of Richard Ward Hair and Metrospa, discuss the power of a lean KPI approach, the importance of team ownership over these metrics, and the need for recognizing achievements beyond the numbers, ensuring your staff feels valued and aligned with your business objectives. Hellen, Coco, and John were 3 peas in a pod. Hellen was dating John but Coco was her best friend and they did everything together. Right now, they were sitting side by side planning what to do for Hellen's 19th birthday. Hellen and John shared suggestive looks with each other before the door opened and their nemesis walked in. Camellia. Hellen and Camellia had been in a fight over the same boys and it was coming to an end now. Hellen had finally put Camellia in her place. The 3 best friends' names were called. They stood up, smiled at each other, and made their way to the front. The judge read their charges - “kidnapping, assault, and torture.” How do you plea? “Not guilty.” They smirked and glared at Camellia.
