We return to Outriders after they patched the server issues. Things are much better technically but could still use some work. Regardless, the game is a blast to play and the story is getting interesting. People Can Fly definitely delivers in the areas that matter with this game. Brett has picked up the new Oculus Quest 2 from Facebook. It's tetherless virtual reality with enhanced resolution and more powerful hardware. It has quite a few changes (including a 100 dollar cheaper price tag). Is this worth the upgrade? He also gets a chance to dive into the new VR game from earlier this year set in a post-apocalyptic world. One of the last exclusives of this generation has come out this last week: Ghost of Tsushima. It's the next title from Sucker Punch and it features the player in the shoes of Jin saving the island of Tsushima from Mongol invasion. It's a game full of things we've seen before but all done really well while introducing lots of new mechanics that will surely become staples. Brett also talks about his experience playing the raid in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. He goes up against Baal in Project Titan and may not do so well.In our news, Sony has increased production for the PS5 and revealed the first hands-on for the DualSense controller. After Ubisoft Forward, the open beta for Hyper Scape released. Hyper Scape is the new battle royale from Ubisoft in which 99 players go head to head in a virtual world called Neo Arcadia. It's a fast-paced, urban shooter with a simplistic gameplay style but lots of depth in the maneuverability around the world. The question is...does it have staying power? Brett also plays a wild game called Maneater. You play a little shark that grows up by eating lots of things in brutal ways. It's very intense but a lot of fun to play and surprisingly deeper of an RPG than expected. In the news, we talk about live streams from Devolver Digital and Nacon. We also talk about Marty O'Donnell's feelings about the Activision/Bungie relationship. There is also word that Half-LIfe 3 and Left 4 Dead 3 were in production but got cancelled because Source Engine 2 wasn't far enough along. In the discussion this week, it's all about Ubisoft Forward. They had their first Live Stream of the year and it featured coverage on Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and the first reveal of Far Cry 6. Fallout 76 has had its fair share of ups and downs and finally we have an update that may redeem the title in 2020. Wastelanders is here and with it comes a new NPC-based storyline. There is voice acting, actual human players and more. Does it bring enough to bring us back into the game or does it leave us wanting more? Brett also returns to Life is Strange Before the Storm to try the "Farewell" bonus episode.In our news, Ubisoft has revealed the next Assassin's Creed game called Valhalla. It's set in the 9th century where you play as a viking as they make their way into England. There are a lot of new features that are being teased from big castle raids to the ability to build your own settlements.  There's a lot to be excited about but is it too big? We also talk about Google Stadia's Connect event and the new release date for The Last of Us Part 2.In our discussion, we explore the idea of Disney + working as a gaming platform. Disney has so many properties they own and Disney has a huge array of titles in the gaming space over the years.
