Le compositeur et producteur sud-africain Lebo M, fête 40 ans de carrière et organise à l'occasion son propre concert pour la toute première fois. Invité spécial, Hans Zimmer. Ensemble ils ont composé de nombreuses bandes originales de films, notamment La Puissance de l'ange, et surtout Le Roi Lion, qui leur a valu un Grammy Award. Un concert qui permet aussi à Lebo M de promouvoir son continent et ses artistes. Cette voix qui a bercé l'enfance de plusieurs générations, celle de Lebohang Morake, alias Lebo M. Père avec Hans Zimmer des musiques du Roi Lion, qui ont propulsé sa carrière en 1994. Mais il aura fallu attendre 30 ans pour que le sud-africain organise son propre concert. « Je me suis magnifiquement caché derrière le fait d'être un producteur et un compositeur, mais en réalité j'aspirais à cela depuis si longtemps », dit Lebo M.Un concert pour célébrer l'Afrique et ses talentsUne première qui se devait d'être dans sa terre natale, d'autant que Lebo M est un fervent promoteur des talents du continent. Aux répétitions, et à l'affiche, de multiples artistes locaux. Une évidence pour le producteur. « J'ai toujours su que ça ne pouvait pas être juste un concert. Tout au long de mon parcours, j'ai eu la chance de recevoir l'aide de tant de personnes, j'ai moi aussi le privilège de pouvoir aider les autres. Pour moi, il a posé des fondations. Nous avons maintenant ici des artistes qui voyagent à travers le monde et qui ont des genres musicaux variés, que ce soit de la house, de l'amapiano… Et je pense que c'est grâce à ces fondations qui ont été posées il y a des années par des icônes comme Lebo M », explique Trésor.Et c'est aux fondations de son succès que Lebo M rend aussi hommage. Clare Smyth is a highly acclaimed chef and is the first British woman to win the coveted three Michelin stars for her work. She opened her London restaurant, Core, in 2017, and before that she ran Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which also held three Michelin stars. Clare was born in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, and grew up on a farm, where her love of simple ingredients was nurtured. The youngest of three children, she discovered a passion for cooking and decided to make it her career from an early age. She left home at 16, moving to England to take a catering course at a college in Portsmouth. Her ambition was to work with the finest chefs, and after completing her course and apprenticeship, she went on to cook in some of the most acclaimed kitchens in the world, including Le Louis XV under Alain Ducasse in Monaco. She returned to London to work in Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, at the invitation of the proprietor, and became the first British woman to run a three Michelin-starred kitchen. Her many awards include the title of the World's Best Female Chef in 2018, and she received an MBE for services to the hospitality industry in 2013. She also found herself in the spotlight in 2018 as the caterer for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She lives in London with her husband.
