When's the last time you actually sat down and decided where your business revenue is going to go, before it arrives, not after? In this episode, Aimee breaks down the three sneaky ways business owners convince themselves they've "got the budget handled" when they really don't: waiting for a bigger revenue number, doing the math in your head, and checking the bank balance instead of budgeting. If you've ever told yourself you'll build a business budget once you hit a certain revenue goal, this one's for you.Cashflow Calculator - https://aimeecerka.com/calculatorFor the full transcript and all links mentioned, see the blog post: https://aimeecerka.com/266Ready To Take Action: https://aimeecerka.com/podcastlinks
We're back and we're still raging about Pong Krell in this episode as we finish up rewatching the Umbara arc from Clone Wars. LeeAnn goes on an epic rant about how much she hates Pong Krell, Lauren talks about laws regarding military uniforms and why it's significant that Krell pitted the Clones against each other, and we both constantly wish someone would just call Kenobi already LOL! Send us Fan MailWe're kicking off Season 8 with our annual mental health check-in — what we're seeing in our offices, what's shifting in the culture, and what we're hoping changes next. This episode covers four threads we can't stop thinking about: the rise of AI as a mental health tool (and its limits), why men's mental health conversations are finally gaining ground but still lag behind, the quiet ways we choose convenience over the harder, more meaningful work of growth, and the stigma that still surrounds psychiatric medication. As always, we're bringing our clinical perspective — not just opinions — to a conversation that's part reflection, part forecast.Content Warning: Mental health stigma, medication discussion, avoidance patterns, gender and emotional suppression themesSupport the showDisclaimer: This podcast is for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for therapy or professional mental health care.Want more? If you've listened to our show for a while, it won't surprise you that we begin and end this episode with "F*ck Pong Krell!" We've decided to rewatch and analyze the Umbara arc from Clone Wars. It's more enraging than we remember! In this podcast episode, we discuss following orders when you know they're wrong, maintaining chain of command, and why fear-based leadership results in a breakdown. We also dive into real life historical references for this arc and whether or not Palpatine contrived the whole scenario. Comment on this episode by going to KDramaChat.com Today, we're taking a break before Season 15 of Hospital Playlist for a special summer episode! Joanna, Sung-Hee, and special guest Ernabel Demillo discuss the K Dramas they've recently finished, what they're watching now, the shows they're most excited about, and Joanna's unforgettable trip to the Philippines. We discuss: The shows we mention throughout the episode: We Are All Trying Here, You and Everything Else, My Royal Nemesis, Phantom Lawyer, Agent Kim Reactivated, Sold Out on You, The Husband, East Palace, Miss Granny, Off Campus, and upcoming dramas including Knock Off, Scandal, See You at Work Tomorrow, Tantara, and Grand Galaxy Hotel. Why You and Everything Else may be the most emotionally devastating—and one of the best—series of the year, with an unforgettable portrayal of female friendship and outstanding performances by Kim Go-eun and the entire cast. Why Sung Hee and Ernabel recommend sticking with We Are All Trying Here, even though it's a difficult series to get into during the early episodes. Joanna's enthusiastic recommendation for Agent Kim Reactivated, an action thriller featuring So Ji-sub that combines intense action with compelling character development and friendships. The many highly anticipated upcoming dramas featuring stars including Ji Chang-wook, Son Ye-jin, Song Hye-kyo, Gong Yoo, Seo In-guk, Nam Joo-hyuk, and Kim Soo-hyun. Joanna's emotional trip to the Philippines to fulfill her mother's final wish by placing her ashes with her parents, while also celebrating her son's college graduation. Joanna's visit to Corregidor, where she learned more about her grandfather's World War II service and imprisonment after the fall of the Philippines. Joanna's adventures in the Philippines, including visiting Manila, Antipolo, Bacolod, Sipalay, surviving a typhoon, and experiencing both volcano and weather alerts during the same trip. Joanna's memorable KDramaChat dinner in Manila with listeners and the incredible Filipino meal at Lore by Chef Tatung in Bonifacio Global City. Filipino cuisine, its Spanish and Chinese influences, and why Joanna describes it as a paradise for lovers of pork, seafood, garlic, vinegar, and coconut-based dishes. The hosts' discussion of travel, jet lag, and Joanna's tips for recovering quickly after long international flights. A preview of what's ahead for KDramaChat as Season 15 begins with Hospital Playlist next week.

A SEAT at THE TABLE: Leadership, Innovation & Vision for a New Era
The apparel industry is entering a new age of discipline. Growth at any cost is giving way to focus, profitability and execution. It's a trend that could get the industry back onto a steady trajectory of not just growth, but profitable growth.Welcome to our July Inside Fashion Market Briefing. I'm Jane Singer and rather than simply talk about ‘what's happening, I'll be sharing insights and perspectives that help brands make smarter decisions. The industry has largely moved beyond the energy shock that hit at the start of Q2.Geopolitical issues remain, but they have become background noise rather than daily disruptions. The situation in the middle east has not really changed much, but oil prices have eased.Market sentiment has moved on. And fundamentally that matters more than what's actually happening. The biggest concerns today are higher interest rates and uncertainty surrounding Section 301 tariffs. Tariffs remain a wildcard because planning is difficult when the rules are still evolving. Phil and Emily are joined by writer Elias Isquith (Necessary Fictions blog) to close out the Angelina Jolie Action Films of the 2000s miniseries with the loudest, messiest entry yet: Timur Bekmambetov's Wanted (2008).James McAvoy plays a cubicle drone recruited by Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman into a secret fraternity of assassins that takes its orders from a magical loom. Yes, a loom. The movie was a surprise hit the summer it opened alongside WALL-E, weeks before The Dark Knight blew everything away, and none of them had seen it since theaters. Rewatching it in 2026 was a very different experience. The conversation digs into how Wanted plays like a proto-incel power fantasy, a movie that negs its audience for 110 minutes and then stares into the camera asking "what the fuck have you done lately?" They trace the line from Fight Club and The Matrix to this film's confused politics, where the message is "be free and take charge of your life" but also "obey the magic loom or die." Emily breaks down the gendered self-loathing baked into so many films aimed at young men, and Elias connects the movie's hyper-individualism to the toxic masculinity pipeline that would migrate to social media just a year later. They also talk about Angelina Jolie's decision to kill off her own character, why the film's structure feels like a video game with half-assed cutscenes, and how Zack Snyder somehow handles this same territory with more nuance.Follow the show & guests:Podcast Like It's... — https://www.instagram.com/podcastlikeitsPhil Iscove — https://www.instagram.com/pmiscoveEmily St. James — https://www.instagram.com/emilystjamsElias Isquith — NecessaryFictions.blog - https://www.instagram.com/eliasisquith
In this episode, we're talking about echolalia, what it really is, what it's doing, and why so many autistic children communicate this way. For years, many educators and therapists were taught to reduce echolalia or move children "past it." But research, autistic voices, and deeper understanding of gestalt language processing have helped shift that thinking in important ways. Echolalia is not meaningless repetition. It is communication. Today's conversation explores: what echolalia actually is the difference between immediate and delayed echolalia how gestalt language processors acquire language differently why scripts and repeated phrases often carry deep meaning what educators can do instead of trying to eliminate echolalia how to support communication in more affirming and responsive ways Because every echo carries meaning. And when we stop trying to eliminate it, we can finally start listening. In This Episode, You'll Learn • What echolalia actually is and why it matters • The difference between immediate and delayed echolalia • What Gestalt language processing (GLP) means • How GLPs acquire language differently than analytic language processors • Why scripts and repeated phrases often carry emotional meaning • Common signs a child may be a gestalt language processor • Why echolalia should not be treated as meaningless repetition • How echolalia supports regulation, processing, requesting, protesting, and connection • Why declarative language is often more supportive than constant questions • How to model language from the child's perspective • Why AAC and visuals can support clearer communication • How to shift from correcting echolalia to understanding it Key Takeaways • Echolalia is communication, not a behavior to eliminate • Many autistic children naturally process language in chunks or gestalts • Scripts often represent feelings, memories, or emotional experiences • The words a child says may not always be literal, but they still carry meaning • Questions can increase pressure for many gestalt language processors • Modeling without correction creates safer opportunities for communication growth • Pronoun reversals are often part of chunk-based language learning • Children deserve communication support that honors their natural language style • Curiosity and connection matter more than perfection Signs a Child May Be a Gestalt Language Processor Echolalia or scripting Pronoun reversals Strong musicality or memorized songs Rewatching the same scenes repeatedly Rich intonation patterns Long jargon strings with emotional tone Repeating phrases tied to emotional experiences Try This • Reduce the number of questions you ask during play and routines • Use more declarative language like "Mmm, cookie" or "Let's go outside" • Model phrases from the child's perspective • Notice repeated scripts and look for patterns around when they appear • Watch body language alongside echolalia for additional communication clues • Respond to the meaning behind the script, not just the words themselves • Support communication with visuals and AAC when needed • Pause and allow processing time instead of filling every silence Resources Mentioned Meaningful Speech https://meaningfulspeech.com/ More Than Words by The Hanen Centre https://hanen.org

From its bizarre dystopian tone to its almost unrecognisable take on beloved characters, this episode explores how a globally adored franchise somehow turned into a cyberpunk fever dream. And not in a good way.Jamie and Corrina unpack everything: the behind-the-scenes chaos, constant script rewrites, and performances that feel like even the cast knew something was off. Still, buried beneath the mess are flickers of creativity, including surprisingly strong production design and visual effects that arguably deserved a better film.Highlights Breakdown:Why Super Mario Bros (1993) feels nothing like a Mario storyThe chaotic production, constant rewrites, and cast frustrationSurprising positives, from set design to visual effectsHow this film shaped the future of video game adaptationsComparing the 1993 disaster to modern Mario successWith the Super Mario Galaxy Movie on the horizon, this is the ultimate re-watch to appreciate how far video game adaptations have come. From the iconic (but misplaced) set designs built in an abandoned cement factory to the “de-evolution” guns that were actually repainted Duck Hunt blasters, no pipe is left unturned. This week's episode is brought to you byAustralian Wrestling CardsCheck out more great content from Pario Magazine on our website.-------------------------------------------------------------SUPPORT PARIO MAGAZINE & THE COMMENTARY BOOTH- PATREON- BUY MERCH- AMAZON PRIME VIDEO- TUBEBUDDY- Subscribe to AEW Plus using my code (q0yydoz) to earn $10 in FITE credit- Shop Online With Honey- Shop Online With SatechiMY EQUIPMENT- Elgato Facecam- Rode PodMic- Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP- Streamlabs Talk StudioFOLLOW JAMIE ON SOCIAL MEDIA- Twitter- Facebook- Instagram- TikTokFOLLOW PARIO MAGAZINE ON SOCIAL MEDIA- Twitter- Facebook- Instagram
This week we are rewatching the Taylor Swift ‘Miss Americana' documentary with a new perspective. 5 years ago Netflix released a documentary during the Lover era where we got to see Taylor Swift go through moments of creating the reputation and Lover album, as well as discuss her relationship with Joe Alwyn, her eating disorder, the need to make a better album, her political stance and more. We always loved this documentary, but watching it 5 years later with hindsight and a clearer understanding of what was actually going on in Taylor's life at this time, it was a lot more revealing and eye opening.Don't forget to subscribe so you can listen and learn more about the Lover era every week on the best Taylor Swift podcast.SPONSORS:Get Out Pass (TTNPODCAST) // https://www.getoutpass.comJust Ingredients 10% (TTN10): https://just.crrnt.app/Vjw9vgNxTaylor Swift Podcast || Best Taylor Swift Podcast || Taylor Swift Miss Americana Documentary || Taylor Swift Lover Era || Taylor Swift Lover AlbumSend us Fan MailSupport the showFollow along to hear a new Taylor Swift related episode every single Tuesday.Watch our episodes on YouTube!Follow Us On Social Media:Typical Tuesday Night Podcast @typicaltuesdaynight.podcastKarli @everyday_ellisJess @jess.taitJoin our Patreon for bonus episodes and exclusive Taylor Swift group chat!Shop Our Merch!Feel free to contact us at typicaltuesdaynightpodcast@gmail.com

Chris opens the show by reacting to the news that Paramount is mounting a hostile takeover in the wake of Netflix's Warner Bros. Discovery acquisition (1:00).
