After last week's deadly shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee there was a lot of confusion about the sex of the shooter. Was it a man? A 'trans man'? Was it a man pretending to be a woman or a woman pretending to be a man? It makes you wonder if the confusion is actually a critical part of constructing a narrative where trans-identified people can't be held accountable for their actions, and in fact, today's guest Robbie Rose points out that CBS was intentionally not reporting the sex of shooter Audrey Hale, just as the media obscured the identity of trans-identified female school shooter Maya 'Alec' McKinney in Colorado, in 2019. Robbie returns to the podcast for an enlightening discussion of the profiles of school shooters in recent history. She points out that most school shooters were bullied for being gay (whether or not they were) and that they also often struggled with autism and behavioral problems. Society's answer to mental health issues is to medicate these children and young adults, and Robbie notes that these people are being given a cocktail that has never been tested - one of antidepressants, mood stabilizers, legal methamphetamines and more recently, steroids in the form of synthetic testosterone. Robbies takes us through a concise history of autism, causes of traumatic brain injury and asks why the media never seems to highlight the fact that these people are highly medicated and if trans ideology might in fact be a coverup for widespread legal poisoning. Robbie boasts a 15-year career as a sales professional. His approach is focused on working within organizations from an entrepreneurial mindset and loving the diversity and excitement each day brings. In today's episode, we discuss how you go from being the first sales employee to scaling the business and growing a sales team from scratch. Robbie shares why he feels scaling is like boiling the ocean and the reasons why most sales leaders fail at building a team. What You'll Learn: - Why most sales leaders struggle with building an efficient team - What it's like to be the first sales employee in a company - How struggling in sales can make you a better salesperson - The foundations of purposeful prospecting - Best practices for reaching out to successful people - Team structure and effective ways to organize a team - How to bring excitement to operational efficiency - Ways to build a repeatable and scalable sales process Most people assume all it takes to build and scale a sales team is putting up job advertisements online and hiring qualified candidates. However, as Robbies explains, hiring is the easy part, but you still need a process and a foundation for future scaling, because salespeople rarely spend two years in an organization. Robbie Balengar is a dedicated athlete in the running community and has ran several ultra marathons including Bandera 100k, Caballo Blanco 50, and Austin Marathon to prepare for his run across the United States of America. He ran 3175 miles from Huntington Beach California to Tavern On The Green in New York City in 75 days. Robbie did this all on a Whole Foods plant based diet with the help from his crew and the ice cream company Nadamoo who sponsored him for this event. He believes becoming vegan will make a huge impact , not just in the running community but around the world. As a 100% whole food plant based athlete , Robbie has been able to reduce inflammation in his muscles , and joints much more efficiently then an athlete who is not vegan. He would burn up to 10,000 calories in a single run everyday. Robbies meal plan consisted of 11 meals throughout the day with shakes that provided him enough calories.
