Um dia, uma amiga me enviou um presente inesperado. Julia havia feito um xale roxo, era um lembrete caloroso de que tínhamos pessoas orando por nós diariamente. Sempre que o envolvia nos ombros, sentia Deus me abraçando com as orações de Seu povo. Anos depois, o xale roxo continua a me lembrar do cuidado de Deus. O apóstolo Paulo afirmou a importância e o poder espiritual revigorante da intercessão. Por meio de seu pedido por apoio e encorajamento em oração, durante suas viagens, Paulo demonstrou como aqueles que oram pelos outros se tornam parceiros no ministério (Romanos 15:30). Apresentando pedidos específicos, o apóstolo não apenas mostrou sua dependência do apoio de outros cristãos, mas também sua confiança de que Deus responde às orações poderosamente (vv.31-33). Todos nós experimentamos dias em que nos sentimos sozinhos. Mas Paulo nos ensina como pedir orações à medida que oramos por outros.
