He was able to impact thousands of people, over just a few days, straight from his phone. The beauty of this is that you have just as much power as Dan did when he started out. There's no doubt that it's becoming harder to stand out on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. But with Clubhouse you have the opportunity to learn and talk with some of the very best in your industry. Join us as we talk about the ins and outs of Clubhouse, how you can get started, as well as the best tips and practices for running your room. As kids we are told to dream big and reach for the stars, but as we grow up those can feel like two of the hardest things to do.... The ones who can keep or regain that childlike wonder and belief that anything can happen if you set their mind to it, are a special type of human. They are the ones who change the world changers by changing the people who change the world, the leaders of leaders, the influencers for influencers. In the industry, these people are recognized by a much humbler name...coaches. Over the past few years the coaching and self development world has been booming, but have you ever stopped and wondered, Who coaches the coaches? Who encourages the encouragers? To answer that question we have to introduce you to our guest today, Mitch Matthews! Mitch is an elite level speaker, entrepreneur, author and success coach. You may recognize his voice as the host of the top rated podcast called “DREAM THINK DO.” He feels like he was put on the planet to help people to dream bigger, think better and do more of what THEY were put on the planet to do! He’s also the creator of the BIG Dream Gathering. These powerful events inspire participants to get clear on their own dreams as well as collaborate with others in the room to make their dreams happen. Listen in as Mitch and Blair dive deep into Mitch's success journey. You will hear how Mitch made the pivot to online before the pandemic, tips on how to serve the audience in front of you at the highest level, how to leverage apps and technology for your virtual event and business, and how Mitch is showing up powerfully for coaches around the world and his new mission to ‘Encouraging The Encourager’ SPEAK OFF BONUS TIPS: As you may know, the hybrid event of the year, Advanced 360 Interactive is right around the corner. Growing up, he was socialized as a sexist, racist, homophobe, bigot, bully, and criminal. As an adult he’s made the extraordinary effort to re-socialize himself into a human being — a healthy, educated black man who respects women, Celebrates Diversity, and supports the equal rights of all people. His journey represents the healing that’s possible when we use negative emotions for positive change and learn the skills we need to treat others equitably. Kemy is creating a world where we rise above segregation, hatred, and violence to heal our past traumas and ensure the safety of all human beings. In service to that vision, he works with hundreds of leaders in business and education — in addition to many Nobel Peace PrizeWinners — to inspire global social justice initiatives. More About Leslie: For 35 years, Leslie August held progressively senior management roles in international insurance agencies. In that time she saw the stark comparison between toxic vs. healthy workplaces and how toxic workplaces resulted in employee disengagement, distraction, illness, and impaired productivity. Ultimately she personally experienced bullying and workplace toxicity and gained a first-hand understanding of the challenges and strategies for dealing with toxic work dynamics and their increased risks.
There is a currency even more valuable than the money that holds our industry together, that not many people truly understand. It’s what makes the most noteworthy events, it’s what makes attendees say “Wow! That was the best speaker I have ever heard.” It’s what keeps your ads working and virtual events engaging. What is that currency? It’s creativity. Creativity is the most essential skill to hone, own and implement in your business. When reading that sentence you may have the knee-jerk reaction to say “But I am not creative?” Let us assure you that if you are an entrepreneur, speaker, business owner, or meeting planner, you are the most creative of us all. Creativity goes so much further than how well you can paint, draw, sculpt or take a picture. Creativity is more than just the arts. Creativity goes to the core of who you are. Today we welcome speaker, computer scientist, entrepreneur, and influencer Shelly Bell Inside The Greenroom! Shelly is a master of weaving creativity with professionalism. She has gone from poet, computer scientist and entrepreneur. If there is anyone that could teach us how to toe this line; it’s her. Named as one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 100 Powerful Women in Business, Shelly Bell is a computer scientist, system disruptor, and business strategist, who moves ideas to profit, while empowering people to live, build, and foster better relationships.
