Living Change I Ching podcast

Ludimila had graduated in psychology and opened her doors as a therapist a few years previously, but wondered whether she was being prompted to hold onto her secure, old work as a teacher and translator. So she asked, 'What should I focus on professionally?' and cast Hexagram 3, Sprouting, with no changing lines. It's a beautifully simple answer, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring it together. Those explorations touched on the nuclear story, at which point I came up with a highly sophisticated visual aid... (This may come in useful towards the end of the episode if you're not familiar with nuclear trigrams and hexagrams!) You can learn more about Ludimila and her work here - she does sessions in both Portugese and English.

Hello to you listening in Berlin, Germany!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds (& a bit more) for Time Out Tuesday and your host, Diane Wyzga. This lovely poem you're about to hear was written in Portugese by Ricardo Gondim Rodrigues, a Brazilian theologian and progressive pastor. The English translation and title (“My Soul Has a Hat”) is often mis-attributed to Mário de Andrade (1893-1945), poet, novelist, essayist, and one of the founders of Brazilian modernism.Click HERE to read the backstory.Click HERE to read “My Soul Has a Hat” by Mário de Andrade Is Fake News for more information. Remember, not everything you find on the InterWeb is correct. I feel like a child who won a pack of candies: at first, he ate them with pleasure but when he realized that there was little left, he began to taste them intensely.I have no time for endless meetings where the statutes, rules, procedures and internal regulations are discussed, knowing that nothing will be done.I no longer have the patience to stand absurd people who, despite their chronological age, have not grown up. My time is too short: I want the essence; my spirit is in a hurry. I do not have much candy in the package anymore.I want to live next to humans, very realistic people who know how to laugh at their mistakes and who are not inflated by their own triumphs and who take responsibility for their actions. In this way, human dignity is defended and we live in truth and honesty. It is the essentials that make life useful.I want to surround myself with people who know how to touch the hearts of those whom hard strokes of life have learned to grow with sweet touches of the soul.Yes, I'm in a hurry. I'm in a hurry to live with the intensity that only maturity can give. I do not intend to waste any of the remaining desserts. I am sure they will be exquisite, much more than those eaten so far.My goal is to reach the end satisfied and at peace with my loved ones and my conscience. We have two lives and the second begins when you realize you only have one."Question: Are you spending your time on the right things? Listen Now to 103 Future Now Show When creating our show, our guests are usually in their home environments, connected to us via Zoom or Facetime. But this week our mountaintop ‘fortress of solitude’ was visited by not one but three live guests in our studio at the same time! First up was a brief but wonderful check in by the Passionate Living TV folks, Catherine Miller and Rifat Chowdhury visiting from Buffalo, NY. They were here in California for a film festival and recording of future stories for their award-winning series on passionate lifestyles.  And author Annelise Schinzinger made it up the hill to chat with us about her new book documenting her pioneering experiences in South America with Ayahuasca, a psychoactive brew used by Amazonian tribes for spiritual and healing purposes. Annelise’s experiences go back to the 1970’s, way before Ayahuasca was known  in North America.  I was particularly fascinated by her understanding of “burracheira,” the field of consciousness created by those sharing an Ayahuasca experience. It is also worth noting that she was the Portugese translater for scientist Dennis McKenna in his field research while in Brazil. She takes us on a most fascinating and insightful journey into some of the deeper mysteries of life and death. Enjoy!

More ballads, plays, biographies and books were written about Avery's adventures than any other pirate. His contemporaries crowned him "the pirate king" for pulling off the richest heist in pirate history and escaping with his head intact (unlike Blackbeard and his infamous Flying Gang). Avery was now the most wanted criminal on earth. To the authorities, Avery was the enemy of all mankind. To the people he was a hero. Rumors swirled about his disappearance. ROMANCE  and BASEBALL:  DREAMS Fulfilled There are certain songs that take us back to our first love encounter, perhaps a summer love or even now if you are blessed with having that special person in your life...Music reminds us of many dreams, which we all want to be fulfilled. Price Pritchett talks about the effect of YOU2 (you squared) : “This is a Quantum Leap strategy, that can deliver those special dreams and ambitions that you instinctively feel should be yours." Even when it comes to one's romance and love life, YOU2 can be followed.  Life changes will happen for what you deserve. (The process its laid out in his classic handbook, YOU2) . When I think of Romance, for my past, I remember listening  to SADE,  https://youtu.be/zwDjJP_l5AY?si=tPKyA8GpE64iqkoR Or songs that have nothing to do with Romance , but make you feel on top of the world, or dancing alone.. here are a few suggestions;  https://youtu.be/k0YFY0CcqjM Bodeans GOOD THINGS  Now Baseball, is the epitome of summer fun and happiness.  The game can also represent dreams fulfilled..so many athletes striving for greatness during their games...  I feel very happy when I watch baseball as do millions of people.. and here's why: many times you get to witness the commaraderie of the team mates, the playful antics, the pranksters..   check this out: https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxZXLfmzMuCBebVzcbiyQCZTQwmaPxInZT?si=SrGz1tHA9rx70AiW The idea  is that we all have hidden gifts, potential assets that go unused.  We  want to open those gifts as Price Pritchett tells us.  Even in Romance and Baseball, there are choices that we make which are life changing.  And that's just it… when it comes to CHANGE, many of us chicken out.  Watch Pritchett's GO BRAVE short clip in the section below under "DISCOVER" KUNDALINI YOGA https://youtu.be/AxefrkDOOY8?feature=shared WINE  Portugal has some of the best undiscovered and value added wines produced.  One of my favorites in a Rose' from the Lagos area, in the Algarve.  And a bargain @ about $15. Daarover Zweden-correspondent Tjade Michels.   Presentatie door Sophie Derkzen.

Port wine is really quite fascinating. It is like history in a bottle. And wine really is about history. This concept all comes together when listening to Rupert Symington of Grahams Port house. The Symington family has not only seen the best and the worst of being involved with such an important side of the wine industry, they shaped much of how the Portugese wine stage is being played out. So often we see success in an company and that is all we see. In other words, we are blinded by the perserverance it took to earn the success. Afterall, how would we know the history, the story, the hard times to get to that success. And you know that this tough path exists; nothing comes easy. Hear the story of near collapse of the Grahams port house and the recovery period that brings us to this podcast. The facility was amazing, the history intrigueing and the wine wildy good.   Enjoy.
