Step beyond the symbols, shadows, and conspiracy theories as we welcome back whistleblower Shane Bales for a raw, unfiltered conversation about power and control in the modern era. Shane reveals how the shadowy groups controlling global systems have evolved from ritualistic practices to technological dominance, creating what he calls "The Umbrella Corporation." Discover the surprising truth about their objectives for humanity, how they've manipulated both mainstream and alternative media to create cycles of fear and false hope, and most importantly—how to reclaim your personal power in a world of engineered consent. This conversation strips away the mystique to expose the practical mechanics of influence in our rapidly changing world, offering real insights into breaking free from invisible chains most people don't even realize they're wearing. https://www.instagram.com/shaynardvox https://www.youtube.com/@fearandhopium Subscribe to Here for the Truth Fridays. HORROR WITH SIR. STURDY EPISODE 541
This week, Alice (made up character) is back on her ol' crusade to take down Umbrella Corporation (just in one building), but once again, she doesn't really do a whole lot (nothing).
We continue our deep dive into Sega's final console with the biggest name in survival horror. We're talking about Resident Evil Code: Veronica, which initially launched on the Dreamcast on February 3rd, 2000 in Japan and March 28th, 2000 in North America. Claire and Chris Redfield's nightmare continues as the siblings fight to survive within Umbrella's deadly facilities. Explore the mysterious Rockfort Island facility and the freezing Antarctic Base for clues exposing the Umbrella Corporation's sordid goals. The fourth main installment in the storied series brought some new innovations but the brothers question whether these technical achievements added much to the gameplay. Tom and Ant agree on what puzzle was their favorite while Tom and Pete are in agreement on one of the lamest puzzles. The brothers poke some fun at one of the most infamous characters in the series, Steve Burnside. Tom and Ant discuss how the game fits into the Resident Evil universe and how it nicely ties the games together. Pete mentions what the rare limited edition Dreamcasts, that you probably never knew existed, are selling for on the resale market. This week the brothers ask which of these creatures would be your least favorite to run into? Moths that can lays eggs and poison you, a flock of bats, giant spiders Follow us on X @BrosBossBattles Instagram @BrosBossBattles https://brothersandbossbattles.com/

The United States of America is really the United States of Hilarity, a country consumed by circustism, egotism, and cognitive dissonance, i.e., holding contrary views, to the point it's actually genuinely funny. From cosmetics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial machine production, consumer products, health foods, the transportation industry and tourism, it's all connected to a series of ultra powerful corporations like the fictional Umbrella. Once again, we are reading about how witches are planning digital black masses to cast spells against republicans. Viral videos on social media show what could be a My 600lb Life contestant dancing like a stripper at a Kamala Harris event before Beyonce was used as a bait and switch to draw in crowds for a photo-op, followed by more videos of a democrat screaming in the face of a child. We could say ‘all bets all off', but as the election nears, betting interest is soaring across the country with some putting down hundreds or even thousands of dollars on Trump, equivalent to a political Super Bowl, while Americans in general struggle legitimately to pay bills yet simultaneously live one of the richest lifestyles in the world bar none. News media is freaking out, too, with MSNBC claiming with early voting the GOP is engaged in stealing the 2024 election, and as the DOD makes adjustments to allow for the possible use of lethal force against American citizens, it simultaneously denies this fact by associating the claim with election conspiracies, the biggest of all is that Trump himself is planning to unleash the military and kill his political opposition - something Democrats have been doing with lawfare and rhetoric for eight years. Other videos of republicans being asked about Trump's support of red flag laws, inoculations, the Federal Reserve, etc., not to mention free speech restrictions on criticism of a foreign power with a 2019 EO, feature the right becoming angry, dismissive and rhetorical, rambling on about how evil is acceptable if it is comparably less evil. On the other hand, the entire leftwing is obsessed with the character of Hitler they've built with Trump's face, calling him fascist, saying his New York rally was akin to a 1939 Nazi rally, and going further with Biden saying he must be locked up because he is gong to kill political opponents. And so slowly, while the average leftist under 30 is a single issue voter over abortion, and the average rightest is a single person solution voter over Trump, we march into our demise, because judgment day is inevitable whether it comes by Ukraine or Israel. All central reasons for discussed issues are ignored for polarizing and popular talking points about this or that. In this episode, Jay discusses the merger between the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and LIV Golf, which will create a new entity called NuCo or Umbrella Corporation. He explains the assets each entity brings to the table and the potential value of franchising events. Jay also emphasizes the need for guaranteed player participation to increase the value of tournaments and create a stronger identity for each event. He suggests a 50-50 split between ownership and talent, with 25% allocated to the top star players and 25% to the rank and file players. In this conversation, Jay discusses the potential restructuring of professional golf and the need for change in the industry. He explores topics such as revenue split in professional sports, balancing ownership and player compensation, incentivizing growth in professional golf, expanding the team model, alternative sponsorship models, restructuring the golf calendar, and the future of professional golf.TakeawaysThe revenue split between players and owners in professional sports is an important factor in determining player compensation. In professional golf, there is a need to balance ownership and player compensation to ensure fairness and incentivize growth.Expanding the team model in golf can create new opportunities for players and increase interest in the sport.Alternative sponsorship models, such as team sponsorship, can provide more value to sponsors and contribute to the growth of professional golf.Restructuring the golf calendar and moving away from the old professional golf model can drive interest and make the sport more appealing to a global audience.Guaranteeing player participation in key events, such as the global series and majors, can help elevate the status of these tournaments and create a more structured and competitive golf ecosystem.Chapters00:00 Introduction and Purpose of the Podcast03:14 The Merger between the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and LIV Golf10:01 NuCo (Umbrella Corporation) and the Assets of Each Entity23:36 The Economics of Golf and the Need for Guaranteed Player Participation30:20 Franchising Valuable Events and Creating Strong Identities44:07 Franchising Events on the European Tour51:36 Ownership and Investment in the New Co56:36 Balancing the Value of Star Players and Rank and File Players57:05 Revenue Split in Professional Sports58:32 Balancing Ownership and Player Compensation59:36 Incentivizing Growth in Professional Golf01:01:03 Expanding the Team Model in Golf01:02:29 Designated Players and Team Sponsorship01:03:29 Alternative Sponsorship Models01:06:06 Restructuring the Golf Calendar01:08:15 Moving Away from the Old Professional Golf Model01:09:47 The Future of Professional Golf01:13:22 Guaranteeing Player ParticipationGolf Lovers United Fanzone!Fan of the show? The complex computer shuts down the base to prevent infection. The parent corporation sends in an elite military unit, where they meet Alice, who is suffering from amnesia due to exposure to nerve gas. The military team must shut down the computer and get out, fighting their way past zombies, mutants, and the computer itself, before the virus escapes and infects the rest of the world. Alice must also come to terms with her slowly-returning memories. Resident Evil is a 2002 action horror film written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. The film stars Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Eric Mabius, James Purefoy, Martin Crewes, and Colin Salmon. It is the first installment in the Resident Evil film series, which is loosely based on the video game series of the same name. Borrowing elements from the video games Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2, the film follows amnesiac heroine Alice and a band of Umbrella Corporation commandos as they attempt to contain the outbreak of the T-virus at a secret underground facility. German studio Constantin Film bought the rights to adapt the series in January 1997. Several writers and filmmakers, such as Alan B. McElroy, George A. Romero and Jamie Blanks, were initially hired to direct and write the film, but their scripts were rejected. In 2000, Anderson was announced as writer and director. Developed as a prequel set in the same continuity as the video game series, the film was initially titled Resident Evil: Ground Zero, but was retitled after the September 11 attacks. Cast was announced in early 2001 and principal photography commenced in March 2001 in Berlin. Resident Evil was theatrically released in Germany on March 12, 2002, by Constantin Film Verleih, and in the United Kingdom on July 12, 2002, by Screen Gems and Pathé Distribution. The film received generally negative reviews from critics and grossed $103 million worldwide against a production budget of $33 million. It was followed by five sequels establishing their own alternate continuity: Apocalypse (2004), Extinction (2007), Afterlife (2010), Retribution (2012), and The Final Chapter (2016).

The video game movie genre is experiencing a renaissance. Traditionally, cinema has heavily influenced the production of video games. Games like Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid are evidence of this. As video games have become more cinematic on their own, the sentiment around video game-influenced movies has increased. Shows like The Last Of Us and the upcoming Super Mario Brothers movie are garnering more interest from the masses than any game-inspired IP before them. Today, the guys are covering two female-led video game films: Resident Evil and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Kyle, Drew, and Phile had a mighty fine time drawing from their love of video games for this matchup.
EPISODE 67 | Pixels & Paranoia – Video Game Conspiracies From its humble beginnings, the video game industry has expanded from cabinet arcade games to PCs and home consoles. Two-thirds of adults in the US and three-quarters of children play them. It makes more than the film industry, which got to around $21 bn last year; and music, which made almost $26 billion in 2021. Globally, gaming hit $192 bn in 2021 and is expected to break $200 bn this year. And it should come as no surprise that there have been rumours, urban legends, controversies and even outright conspiracy theories about video games. Games that kill, or carry a curse, or control people's minds, or contain hidden truths that some would prefer remained hidden. Like what we do? And the new docuseries Victoria's Secret: Angels and Demons examines the company's decline and the involvement of its former owner, Lex Wexner, and his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Johnson and Bosch star Deji LaRay, and 101 Places to Party Before You Die hosts Adam Pally and Gabrus all tell us what they're watching. Dutch & Tena review the movie Resident Evil, Welcome to Racoon City
The video game series, RESIDENT EVIL, may be one of the if not the most popular horror video game franchise of all time. Having eight official games, plus a number of spinoffs, the series has been one of the video game maker Capcom's biggest sellers. Soon a movie franchise was born starring Milla Jovovich which at first followed the game story line but soon later completely left its source material. In Q4 of 2021, the new film RESIDENT EVIL: WELCOME TO RACCOON CITY promised to get back to the origin of the story (as a prequel). Claire Redfield (Kaya Scodelario) returns to Raccoon City to rekindle her relationship with her brother Chris (Robbie Amell) as well as to dig into their history as orphans. When residents begin to start acting strangely and the Umbrella Corporation, the biggest city's employer, locks down the city. Claire, among the local police force, are locked in and have to find out what is going on and how to get out. The film is directed and written by Johannes Roberts, known for such films as 47 METERS DOWN (2017), 47 METERS DOWN: UNCAGED (2019) and THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT (2018). The film stars Kaya Scodelario, Tom Hooper, Neal McDonough, Avan Jogia, among others. Dark Discussions Podcast takes a look at this new film in the series franchise and gives their thoughts.
"Look, you have two choices here: kill or be killed. Your call!
The Umbrella Corporation may have left town (and taken original star Milla Jovovich with them), but there's still a horde of bloodthirsty zombies ready to welcome audiences back to Raccoon City in the seventh Resident Evil installment. Can estranged siblings Chris and Claire Redfield bring the foster father who poisoned their childhood to justice before he escapes with the infamous T-virus? And can corporate espionage spy Albert Wesker really hack pharmaceutical secrets with only a Palm Pilot at his disposal? Find out what's up with a 90s throwback now.

The very first episode of the PixelLit Podcast. We covered the opening few chapters of S.D. Perry's Resident Evil: The Umbrella Conspiracy. There's the telltale signs of some weird mic issues right away, but hey, what's the first episode of a podcast without that? Book Overview Raccoon City: a remote mountain community suddenly besieged by a rash of grisly murders. At the epicenter, a dark secluded mansion belonging to the mysterious Umbrella Corporation. Deployed to investigate the strange goings-on is the Special Tactics and Rescue Squad (S.T.A.R.S.) but what unfolds as the team penetrate the mansion's long-locked doors is terror beyond their worst nightmares. Hey Folks, Just me and Naomi this time round. We had been talking about the cartoonish evil of both Umbrella and Wayland-Yutani. This lead to a debate on who was the better EVIL corporation. As such we came up with an idea to pit them against each other in a number of categories that we chose and see who came out on top. We used a UFC style 10 point must scoring system and defined 10 categories for them to be judged in, these being: Founders intentions (more evil wins) Public company goals True evil company goals Fiscal growth from good projects Public perception Amount of good work vs evil work (least amount wins) Success of evil projects Fiscal growth from evil projects Fiscal loss on evil projects Human life loss on evil projects Current company standings You can read our notes on this and scoring here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aPJBY8XUncqBVMs5Tp4QyQbaWoNembBEkL2yGZpj6Q8/edit?usp=sharing We only used main cannon timeline for most of this, so no novels or expanded universe stuff.
