This morning, we had a takeover from the man of the Success Center, Mr. Dan Mumm! Today, Dan starts off really making you think. He asks you to look at every single deal that you have closed in this past year - think about each one that went really well, the client was happy, everything worked out, the process was in and of itself a breeze! Now the question he poses is, what is the one thing that those transactions have in common? The answer to this is that they likely all had a high level of motivation! Where as if you think about all the deals that went the opposite direction - the client wasn't happy, there were many road blocks, & the deals didn't close - then there was likely a common theme of no motivation. What Dan has found is that motivation is the holy grail of Real Estate. It determines how much you will get paid & how likely you are to get paid in this business. As you continue listening, Dan gives some awesome tips on how to determine whether or not your client is motivated and how to amp up their motivation if it's lacking! Thank you so much for your words of wisdom Dan!
After doing Success Series in Nevada last week, and the biggest thing I noticed in everyone is the concept of confidence. Confidence is attractive. Go to the Success Center, do the prep work prior to your open houses, take the VAC classes, even go out and prospect with other agents! Even if you're brand new, you already have a Real Estate license! You passed the test, you're a professional! Waking up an hour earlier, going to the Success Center everyday, and taking advantage of our coaching! It's August which means we're about two thirds of the way through the third quarter which has me thinking about the things we are going to talk about next. After thinking of what I believe you should know at this time of the year, I came up with the topic... "So You Want to Be a Top Producer?". I have a couple points for you to think about... 1. Eliminate Options for Yourself - Keep your day simple. If you're going to be a top producer in this industry 80% of your day needs to be involved in the big four. Those billable hours activities in Real Estate. Prospecting! We already know this is the first on the list on how to be a Top Producer! 2. Work Full Days - I know we can get very busy during the day however, are we actually working full days? Go into work on time, leave work on time. Create a time blocking plan that gives you full days that brings you towards where you want your business to be. 3. SCHEDULE! - Time blocking! There it is again. Creating your schedule will absolutly transform the way you go about your days. Try this, break your day into 3 parts such as Prospecting, Administration, Prospecting. Onece you start gainging traction, you can switch it up tp Prospecting, Adminsitration, negotiating deals/going on appointments. If you want to beat the curve for when you get into pace in Real Estate, follow this simple three way scheduling which is the perfect guideline to a great schedule for a top producer! 4. Make Decisions Quickly - If you're heading in the right direction and you make a wrong turn? You just adjust!Make this your mindset! Not going in any direction and just standing there, is never a good idea! Make decisions quickly and if it happens to be the wrong one, thats okay just keep moving! 5. Work on your Skills - Feed your brain with the right things. This is something you need to decide for yourself. It starts with your mindset. Take advantage of the Success Center, the companies free coaching, the VAC, Success Series, etc. There are so many tools within this company alone that will support your effort on sharpening your skills to be better within this industry. 6. Always Being the Most Knowledgeable Person in Every Transaction - You need to be the personw ho makes people feel calm by being educated. When your buyers and sellers who want to take over, you want to be the person that can step in intellegently so that they know you know your stuff! Be a student of this business and be a student of life! 7. Confront People when Necessary and Accept Critisizim - Anything that you feel will be interrupting your schedule or your flow, you should be confronting them so that you can eliminate these parts of yoru life that can be distracting or unhealthy to your growth. If someone wants to give you constructive critisizm, take it in and acceot it rather than lash out on it. Allow it to help you grow and just listen. Remember, resistance is part of the process. Ressitance is the way a lot of the time! 8. Communicate in a Timely Manner - Have you notcied whenever something happens that you should handle right away but you let it slide that it comes back almost worst? Don't do this to yourself! Good Morning Everyone! While on vacation, the master of the Success Center Dan Mumm, has taken over our Monday Morning Coaching Call! Today we are talking about prospecting….What is prospecting? What it boils down to is that, prospecting is finding new customers, generating new conversations. As Dan explains, people constantly approach him stating, “Hey, do you still do that prospecting thing?” … mhm, what does that even mean? When people think of prospecting, they are thinking of things like cold calling . When in realty, the definition of it is simply generating new leads, creating business. Prospecting is the economic denominator of your business. Meaning, everything you have in your business, comes as a result from your prospecting. If you only focused on prospecting and generating new business, than it will only better your business and solve every problem that you may have. Dan does an amazing job at expanding on the idea and the art of prospecting and why it is so important for you and your business!!
