Transforming Perspectives | Scriptures are specific pertaining to events of reckoning, reconciliation and restoring in the EndTimes. However, most believers consider the times called the Latter days, the Last days, and the Lord's Day synonymously and often glance over any presumed distinctions. Biblical narratives, however, contain prophetic distinctions and differences defining these times so that believers will know Bible Truths from false reports, as Apostle Paul exhorts to Timothy of the perilous times ahead, of men turning away from sound doctrine. ‘The Latter Days' in biblical Hebrew, depicts a perpetual perspective, such as now, then and afterwards. Often, the phrase infers the utmost point in time in which consequential judgment impacting a nation and a people, referred as posterity or a remnant will occur, as in the visions of Daniel.Whereas, ‘the Last days' from which in Greek derives the theological term Eschatology, defines the continuity of consequential events encapsulating the EndTimes, as implied when “Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.” Genesis 49:1.Furthermore, ‘The Lord's Day' designates the actuality of the EndTimes, and is the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy as well as the unfolding events of the Lord's 100O years reign. Scriptures provide assurance of God's righteousness prevailing throughout the world, so that believers will stand uncompromisingly, amiss worldly cynicism, as Apostle Peter warns, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts. And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation…But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:3-4, 8-9, King James Version.Pray, Read and Study - Deuteronomy Chapter 4, Daniel Chapter 4 & 2 Timothy 3:1-28._____________________________Thank you for joining and listening to our Podcast's Episodes! The final ending discussed is the slow demise of the Norsesettlement in Greenland, settled by Erik the Red around 985 AD. Herjolfsnes, one of the last settled places, provides poignant evidence from its graveyard. Due to permafrost, the coarse, mended woolen clothes (vaðmál) of the last generations, dating up to the early 15th century, were preserved. These garments reveal the increasing isolation and poverty of the inhabitants as climate conditions worsened. The ultimate mystery remains what happened to the very last people after the final burials. The final surviving reports from Greenland via Iceland are a 1407 witch burning (of a man seduced by witchcraft) and a 1408 wedding.

Transforming Perspectives | Often, Bible Prophecy is read with glazed eyes, seemingly because of its complexity. Time, however, necessitates for men to understand Bible Prophecy, beyond its metaphorical imagery, interpretation or predictions. So that men would grasp the contextual framework, intent and purposes of this mode of communications to the world. Unlike worldly predictions, Bible Prophecy conveys the evidentiary certainty of God's intervention on earth acccomplishing his ultimate redemption of mankind.Prophecy is God's method of communicating future events of times, seasons, and conditions for promised blessings, exhorts for repentance, and impending correction or judgment for the unrepentant, so that men would be expectant or take heed, and be prepared. God speaks to chosen messengers, named prophets and angels, as Gabriel and Michael, through personal encounters, termed epiphanies or spoken audibly, or seen in visions, or witnessed spiritually. Specifically, messages for a nation, a people, individuals and the entire world. Often fulfilled over years and many instances, accomplished over centuries. For examples, the Prophecy of Jeremiah regarding Judah's captivity into Babylon, woes to the nations in the last days comprised in the books of Zephaniah and Habakkuk, as well as, the Promised Seed of Abraham spoken of the Messiah, the Lord who is from the Beginning, and affirmed, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. “ Revelation 1:8, King James Version. Formidably, prophetic narratives convey to the modern world of God's great faithfulness, mercy, long suffering, and also, of his righteous judgment. The authenticity of Bible Prophecy, ratifies God's wonders of reconciliation, reckoning and reign over all creation, as John the Apostle, witnessed being taken by the Spirit to the moment of the Lord's Return. Transforming Perspectives | Most of us understand signs as directional markers, many look for signs for guidance, some seek the alignment of the celestial stars to indicate times and seasons. Biblically, however signs and wonders are indications of Almighty God's Intervention upon the earth, so that men may be informed and not troubled or led astray nor deceived in the uncertainties of times of transitioning in significant historical events. Many biblical narratives expound on the occasions where with the world's conditions and sentiments revealed prophetic times and seasons. Biblical prophecy is of God. Formidable, is the occasion when Jesus Christ responded ardently to religious sects and leaders for their consultation and reliance upon worldly signs and trinkets for reasonings of seasons and events. The Gospels accounts of Matthew and Mark, share events spoken of by Prophet Isaiah of the sign of the Messiah's entrance into the city of Jerusalem, riding on a colt as the proclamation of his kingship and lordship. Moreover, this event is a mark of the time of his predestined crucifixion and resurrection. Events where which the religious leaders could not recognize. Inquisitively, however, his disciples asked of his return and of the signs of the end. Jesus begins, “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:3-6, KJVPray, Read and Study - Matthew Chapter 24 and Mark 13._____________Thank you for joining and listening to our Podcast's Episodes! Transforming Perspectives | Every person who has ever lived on earth, life will not end at death nor in the grave! Only, the persons who have accepted God's Grace of Salvation accomplished by Jesus Christ will abide with GOD. Heaven is a dwelling and a life, an existence in the eternal glory of Almighty GOD. Whereby, the heavenly hosts along with every form and matter such as stones, jewels and flowers reverence in obeisance, songs of praise continuously unto GOD. Apostle John saw in visions of the EndTimes, events of believers dwelling in heaven after being gathered in a manner similarly to Enoch and Elijah, being taken or caught up by the living creature witnessed by the Prophet Ezekiel. These Eschatological events identifying the EndTimes or the Last Days, represent periods of reconciliation and reckoning during Jesus Christ's 1000 year's reign on the earth. In which believers called the children of God abide in heaven from every earthly tribe, race, creed, and culture. Transformed as the new creature having been translated into the marvelous illumination of light of GOD. Children being presented before God the Father by Jesus Christ overflowing with exceedingly joy. God's children the same is of Yahweh, dressed by Christ in white linen, the garment of righteousness, and feasting at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, celebrating with Jesus Christ and his Bride, the Church. Also, descending with Christ to judge with him upon the earth, as Jeremiah saw in visions of the throne of judgment of heaven and was encouraged not to become dismayed. Because, as Christ says to each of us, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” Revelation 3:20 -21, KJV.Pray, Read and Study - The Books of Ezekiel Chapter 1; Jeremiah Chapter 10; and the Book of Revelation Chapters 19-21._____________Thank you for joining and listening to our Podcast's Episodes! Though this book is valuable for medical and public health professionals, it especially offers families kinship, support, and inspiration. For patients and readers in general, I'll Fly Away champions the idea that every one of us is a unique person with needs, wants, and a voice that is discoverable and deserves to be heard. It embodies the notion that every life is a story, and every voice matters. Marc Sapir, a retired primary care, geriatric and public health physician, is an essayist and political activist. He was first Medical Director of the Center for Elders' Independence for disabled elders for 9 years. He is author of five plays, and also writes fiction, poetry, and music. He lives in Berkeley, CA. Poignant, Hilarious, and Beautifully HumanStep into the glow of lavender twilight with Alfred P. Doblin's unforgettable collection, Tales of the Lavender Twilight. In this debut, Doblin opens doors to the rich, poignant, and often hilarious lives of late-middle-aged gay men—and one very sophisticated Cocker Spaniel—as they seek love, redefine family, and gracefully navigate the complexities of life's next chapters. From a bittersweet gathering in a West Village gay dive bar to the quirks of a Catskill town brimming with out-of-work actors, Doblin's eleven tales journey coast-to-coast, capturing moments of humor, heartbreak, and unexpected resilience. Follow a hopeful dog in search of a new home, a sharp-tongued theater critic who stirs up old wounds, LGBTQ youths rediscovering a legacy, and an unforgettable Thanksgiving celebration where gratitude and community collide. With warmth, wit, and compassion, Tales of the Lavender Twilight celebrates lives lived boldly, refusing to be defined by a world too focused on youth. These stories are a vibrant tribute to the endurance of spirit, love, and identity.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/houseofmysteryradio. Guest Bio: Lisa-Jo Baker is a bestselling author, lapsed lawyer, current acquisitions editor for HarperCollins, and the author of Never Unfriended, The Middle Matters, and Surprised by Motherhood. She is also the co-host of the Out of the Ordinary podcast. Her critically acclaimed memoir, It Wasn't Roaring, It Was Weeping, released in 2024, described by Publishers Weekly as "Poignant and searching, this leaves a mark." With a BA in English/prelaw from Gordon College and a JD from the University of Notre Dame Law School, Lisa-Jo has lived and worked on three continents in the human rights field and subsequently spent nearly a decade leading the online community of women called (in)courage as their editor in chief and community manager. Originally from South Africa, Lisa-Jo now lives just outside Washington, D.C., where she met and fell in love with her husband in the summer of '96. Their story together spans decades, languages, countries, books, three very opinionated children, and one dog. Show Summary: What does your relationship with your earthly father look like? For some people, they have a very close relationship with their dad, which makes it easy to celebrate Father's Day. But others may have experienced deep pain or even abuse from their dads. This Father's Day, Lisa-Jo Baker speaks to the people who have experienced deep hurt in their relationship with their father. She shares with hosts Eryn Eddy Adkins and Vivian Mabuni how her recent healing was completely guided by the Lord and led to the restoration of her relationship with the angry father from her childhood. This God Hears Her conversation walks you through Lisa-Jo's powerful story of redemption. Notes and Quotes: “Our parents are neither all hero nor all villain. They are human people like us—they are a mix of things.” —Lisa-Jo Baker "The patterns we pick up from our families of origin are like a language that you are learning subconsciously all the time. We can only change the patterns once we recognize them.” —Lisa-Jo Baker “If we have unhealthy patterns in our childhood, there's a sense of resistance: How do I make space, how do I breathe, how do I feel safe?” —Lisa-Jo Baker “This is the thing about the Lord;, he will take you slowly step by step. He will do the work. He will initiate. He will invite. He will orchestrate. It will be in His timing.” —Lisa-Jo Baker “He is glacial in His timing, with such tenderness and such love. You don't have to be afraid. My hope is that by looking at my closet and seeing what happened when we started to unpack it, that the Holy Spirit would say to you, ‘okay, are you ready to look at your closet?' and you would trust Him with what comes next.” —Lisa-Jo Baker “The truth of who [God] is gets braided together with the truth of who your heavenly Father is, and the work of our adult lives is separating out what is real and what isn't.” —Lisa Jo Baker “There are certain key milestones that happen in a life, and the Holy Spirit is quick to come in alongside those moments.” —Lisa-Jo Baker “He loves you so much that He had me write this story because He actually wants to meet you in your story.” —Lisa-Jo Baker “When you invite the Holy Spirit into [the memories] with you, He does begin a sacred process of bearing witness to what happened. It's like having someone in the room with you saying ‘that shouldn't have happened', ‘that was wrong,' ‘that was terrible'.” —Lisa-Jo Baker “The power of believing in the kind of God we do—who is not constrained by time—is that God is in fact able to move in and out of your timeline.” —Lisa-Jo Baker Related Episodes: GHH Ep 93 – Supporting Fathers with Dr. Meg Meeker: https://godhearsher.org/podcast/supporting-fathers/ GHH Ep 129 – Feeling, Not Fixing with Ryan Clevenger: https://godhearsher.org/podcast/supporting-fathers/ GHH Ep 160 – Intentional Fatherhood with Matt Adkins: https://godhearsher.org/podcast/intentional-fatherhood/ Links: Lisa-Jo's Book: https://www.amazon.com/Wasnt-Roaring-Was-Weeping-Interpreting/dp/0525652868 Lisa-Jo's Website: https://lisajobaker.com/ Lisa-Jo's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lisajobaker/ God Hears Her website: https://go.odb.org/ghh191 Watch the episode on the God Hears Her YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@GodHearsHerODBM Share Your Story: https://godhearsher.org/share-your-story/ God Hears Her email sign-up: https://go.odb.org/ghh-sign-upsfmc191 Subscribe on iTunes! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/god-hears-her-podcast/id1511046507?utm_source=applemusic&utm_medium=godhearsher&utm_campaign=podcast Shop God Hears Her books and resources: https://go.odb.org/ghh-shop191 Elisa's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/elisamorganauthor/ Eryn's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/eryneddy/ Vivian's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vivmabuni/ Our Daily Bread Ministries website: https://go.odb.org/odbm191
