While many think poverty reflects a lack of money, Demetrius Sandridge, author and speaker, knows firsthand that the term holds much more weight than what meets the natural eye. Affectionately known to many as “The Detroit Dog Whisperer”, Sandridge learned early in life that millionaire status had much more to do with mindset than money. It was only when he changed his mind set and associations that he saw his life transform right before his very eyes—and he’s on a mission to aid others in doing the same. Most people that live in poverty, believe that their situation is Final…that there’s no way out. They blame everything and everybody for their dilemma. But as stated before, POVERTY IS A MINDSET! It has nothing to do with race, or what city you live in… Join us for the conversation! From the Host: Demetrius Sandridge is excited and focused on improving your opportunity and FEELINGS about your finances! At the young age of 20, Sandridge was afforded the opportunity to chauffeur for a multi-millionaire. Taking notes of his every move, walk and talk, he was inspired to reach for millionaire status after he’d watched his mother struggle to raise him and his three siblings. It was also at this time he realized that as he was earning $50,000 a year as his private chauffeur, while his mother—who’d worked for the millionaire many years as his housekeeper and nanny—made significantly less. Now, I can be a pretty serious person and have always shunned the idea of a photo booth but conceded for our party. Ends up that the photo booth was the hit of the party! We could not keep our friends out of this thing and admittedly I enjoyed it quite a bit myself. The greatest benefit came 1 week later when the owner of the booth sent us a disc with all of our photos on it. What a gift to be able to peek into the booth with others when they let their hair down ( and sometimes added some hair )! I am now a fan of the photo booth and the absolute fun and frolic that it brings to any environment. Today’s Episode Talks about: - Britney, the serial entrepreneur - What should a photo booth experience feel like, creating expectations - What makes The Top Pic Collective different - Great and Unusual environments for photo booths - Expectations for cost - Send Sherry an e-mail @ Swifttalk@sherryswift.com and get 25% off of service from Top Pic collective Mentioned in this episode: Top Pic Collective Web-site: www.thetoppiccollective.com The Top Pic Collective on Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/TopPicPhotoBooth/ Istagram : Thetp_collective The Top Pic Collective reservations: 248-559-1309 Sherry’s web-site – www.sherryswift.com Connect with Sherry on Social Media and get instantly updated on our next episodes! My guest this episode is Rita Yevzelman and her conversation is fascinating, educational and offers options to a healthy lifestyle, healing and power over any circumstance. Rita is an energy healer and she is a believer in a holistic and nondual approach to healing and health. She speaks to the opportunity to combine main stream medicine with a complimentary medicine. Rita doesn’t lean into the language “alternative” medicine because she believes it promotes exclusion as opposed to a complimentary approach to healing. Such an empowering approach to handling whatever life throws your way without losing dignity and self-control. Take a listen and tell me what you think! Rita is offering a discount for anyone who writes in about this episode, so write to swifttalk@sherryswift.com , get your discount and enjoy the experience. From the Host: Rita Yevzelman is a beautiful human being who offers hope, healing and options for some who may feel that they have few. Her clientele is diverse, and the benefit is undeniable once you’ve had the experience. If we agree that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond to it, then we can probably agree that this service is about controlling the 90%! During our conversation Rita spoke in language that I relate to and that is about empowerment and control over our current circumstances. Listen. Open your mind to the option and leverage the discount for an experience with Rita! About the episode: We are continuing the conversation around all things real estate and I would like to make a pit stop and talk about some place near and dear to my heart, Detroit and Detroit Real Estate; where it is, where it’s going and how to get in on it! No one can argue that the architecture available in the city of Detroit is unsurpassed. The majesty and detail of the mini-mansions that occupy the tree lined streets in the Palmer Woods, Boston Edison Districts(so many more I can’t mention them all here) neighborhoods is near impossible to find today in new construction. This city like many others, was severely impacted as a result of the crash and created a flood of vacant homes, foreclosures and short sales. Now, I am so excited to celebrate that the City of Detroit is back and its real estate values are being impacted by the flood of people that that want to occupy mid-town, downtown and so many other areas! So much to do and so much fun to be had from the River Walk down town and The Eastern Market to the Mid-Town District there’s fun for everyone and all ages, stages and cultures! Take a peak next time your moving through the city and you will be so pleasantly surprised at all that it offers to it’s visitors and more importantly, it’s ride or die residents! From the Host: I am joined today by Charles Ryan, Associate Broker and Team Leader for Ryan Realty Group. Charles celebrates a long relationship with real estate sells and has watched the city grow and change over the years. He has so much valuable information to share and you are going to love listening to his interview about the opportunity and growth in the City! Welcome to Swift Talk with Sherry Swift! We are continuing the conversation in our Growth Series and having the foundational conversation about Spiritual Growth.I am a believer. A believer that all growth happens from the inside – out. That we become, who we are eligible to become, because we first believed we are worth it. Sometimes, we have to search deeper for that belief system of self-worth…because let’s just face it…most of us, have in us, whatever was PUT in us. If someone did an amazing job of embedding in our mind-set that we are WORTH it all and should HAVE it all, we believe that. On the opposite end, if we struggle with finding those affirming words in our root structure, we have to plant them ourselves. For many of us, this is where spirituality becomes the foundation for our growth. Believing what you can’t see, touch, taste or feel and knowing that anything is possible! I am a spiritual person (not a religious person) who believes that spirituality is designed to support each person where they are and that it is not limited to being practiced in one way or the other. That everyone, could have something, someone, that they hold onto in those questionable times to increase the light, love, faith and understanding in this world we live in, is a basic right. I believe that It is EVERYONE’S basic right and there is enough space for us all to practice in our own language that supports light and love for everyone. This was such an enlightening diverse conversation about spirituality, diversity in spirituality and finding a space for EVERYONE to worship and celebrate. I could not have asked for a better guest, a sweeter spirit with a stronger faith & cause then Angela Lippard! I would encourage you to visit my web-site @ www.sherryswift.com and read my blog from this episode and download the bullet points to this important and life changing conversation. If you know of someone who would benefit from this conversation, please send them a link to listen and let’s spread love one share at a time! Angela volunteers her time as a Deacon at The Christ the Good Shepard Independent Catholic Church for the last 3 years. As a Deacon she tithes her time supporting and advocating for causes that she believes in and may add a nontraditional twist to the conversation of traditional spirituality. Today’s Episode Talks about: • Religion vs. Spirituality • Celebrating differences vs. divisive • Non- traditional Catholicism • Spirituality and the LGBTQ Community • Thinking outside of language to identify the GOOD and finding your own spirituality 1. The universe 2. Your own relationships 3. Energy, etc • DIVERSITY in spiritualityMentioned in this episode:Christ The Good Shepherd : www.ferndalecgs.comChrist The Good Shepherd Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/ferndalecgs/Sherry’s web-site – www.sherryswift.comConnect with Sherry on Social Media and get instantly updated on our next episodes!Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/swifttransitions/Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/swifttalk/Linked in- https://www.linkedin.com/in/sherry-swift-70374610/Twitter- https://twitter.com/sherswiftDid you enjoy listening to the show as much as we enjoyed creating it?
