    In today's episode of the podcast we are interviewing Christina Trexler who is going to talk to us about computer science and sexism in this career. Christina Trexler, known as xtinacomputes on Tiktok and Instagram, is an undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas majoring in both Pure Mathematics and Computer Science, and currently is a visiting student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Center for Brains, Minds, and Machines. She is a researcher in the McDermott Lab for Computational Audition where she operates at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and engineering to design more effective machine systems for recognizing and interpreting sound. When COVID-19 struck the US, Christina decided to spend her isolation making TikTok memes about programming and women in STEM, where she was able to grow an audience of over 100 thousand people.
