Balancing work, family, and a busy lifestyle with growing organic vegetables, fruit & herbs, using and preserving the harvest, cooking from scratch, stocking and organizing the larder pantry, making and using herbal remedies, raising Chickens and Muscovy Ducks and many other homesteading endeavours. When Elissa was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, life circumstances took another change, the exciting lifestyle she was living outside her home suddenly stopped and she was left to focus on her health, raising her children and homesteading. Choosing to focus on and celebrate what she could achieve and share and not focus on the illness, she started the Moat Cottage Homesteading Channel on YouTube.Elissa has so much incredibly valuable and hard earner knowledge that she so generously shares today and a few of the topics we cover include:What actually homesteading is and why it is such a harmonious way to liveWhere to start is you are inspired but have no idea how to do it your current circumstances, this is for everyoneSome incredible tips on how we can all be more self sufficient and live cleanerThe importance of healthy soils for our health and environment and so many practical ways you can increase the health and quality of your soilHow to make the most of the incredible food you grow and some powerful natural and simple remedies----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------MOAT COTTAGE HOMESTEADING LINKSWEBSITE: https://www.elissajayne.comYOUTUBE: http://youtube.com/@MoatCottageInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/moatcottagehomesteading/
