One of, if not my favorite types of stories I enjoy hearing from the psychedelic space are the stories that come from individuals who, at one point, did not resonate with psychedelic medicines at all. For men, one of the challenges we face is how to find balance between the polarities of the savage & the saint within us. When I entered the realm of psychedelic medicines, no medicine was more popular & talked about more than that of Ayahuasca. For many of us who embark into the world of plant medicine, we may come from a background of addiction challenges or substance abuse in which in order to heal our addictions, we must swing the polarity to that of complete sobriety for a period of time. For some of us, that period may be the remainder of our lives & for others, that period may be a series of months or years, however, it's clear to see that one size does not fit all & with that being said, I truly believe as human beings that change is the only constant in our lives. As I am sure any of you who have been listening to the show for some time now know, I am a big proponent of consciously connecting with Cannabis for personal & spiritual growth.
