Warren Ward. If you take one thing away from this powerful episode, it's when you see the name don't just think “hooper.” Think businessman, brother, son, friend and a growing human. Episode 153 has us go back with one of the coldest U Sport hoopers we have seen, an absolute walking bucket (who could also guard, don't get it twisted), and an all-time leading scorer at the University of Ottawa. Having a late start to the game didn't hurt Warren or his growth, he developed a love and his skills quite rapidly, eventually getting recruited by a few schools in Canada and the states. It was a trip down to Indiana that took him down his University path, a small JUCO that didn't have the right feel motivated him to return to Canada and see what his options were. A phone call from a former guest on AHJ, Mr. Dave Deaveiro who was the head coach at Ottawa interested Warren, and after a visit to the campus he committed to the Gee-Gees. Trips to nationals, working on his craft with intention, an All-Canadian and a whole bunch of learning experiences had Warren ready to play the pro game. His story gets wild from here, as he has a brief interest from the NBA (You need to hear the story), eventually finding himself signing his first contract in Germany. After a few seasons, Warren unfortunately had multiple injuries (2 ACL tears and an Achilles), and he knew it was time to move on from the game. The growth and reflection Warren has had since then have made him the man he is today; all the the things we started this writeup with and so much more. Warren also is in the podcast game, give his show @youonlydietwicepod a follow! Such a dope episode, tap in!!!!!!!!!! We head back overseas for episode 140 with the big fella, Chris McLaughlin! The current overseas pro has been hooping in Hong Kong for some time now, has found himself some great experiences both on and off the court and continues to enjoy life and ball! A true islander at heart, Chris grew up in Ontario but always had a soft spot for “the rock”. As Chris started to physically grow, basketball became a sport he was interested in learning more about and getting better at. High school led to sharpening his craft and enjoying what came with it. It ended up being a family trip out west that is a great story on how Chris chose his future post-secondary school, the University of Victoria! After a tough rookie season, Chris starts to figure out the University game, leading his Vikes to multiple national appearances while collecting Canada West POY and All-Canadian awards along the way. In his senior year, the big man averaged 19.8 points and 10 rebounds a game, numbers don't lie! Chris is currently playing for Eastern in the Hong Kong league, and after having an MVP season he just had to run it back! This (possible) future teacher used to sub-teach at Mitch's school, has lots of great stories and reflections plus a positive perspective on life! You know the drill, time to tap in! Much respect and thanks to Chris for being with us, all the best for the upcoming season! We're making Team Player Podcast History again as we welcome our first ever Canadian-born guest, as well as our first ever published author and varsity football official! We take a trip down memory lane over a career that has spanned 6 decades of involvement with the game of football, including being named to the All Texas College Team and the 1971 All-Canadian team. He is a true Austin College football legend with his induction into the AC Athletics Hall of Honor in 2018. Please welcome Keith Johnston to the show! - While he was born in Toronto, Ontario it seemed Keith was destined to be linked to rodeo as he moved out West at age 4 to the home of the Stampede in Calgary, Alberta and then down South to Dallas, TX at age 11 - Starting a new program as a player at W.T. White HS in Dallas, TX in the 1960's - He formed a special relationship with his Head Coach Roland Hallmark that continued for almost 50 years in the form of reunions all the way up until Coach Hallmark's passing in 2020 - Keith shares some harrowing tales of big comebacks and fun times as a member of the Austin College football team, as well as continuing his college football career in Canada as a graduate student at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. - He spent decades on the sidelines but not in the same way as most of our TPP alums. He was a Head Linesman as a Varsity football official in the Houston area, but his career took him all over the world including to England where he officiated a rivalry game the likes of Texas and Oklahoma in the form of Cambridge vs Oxford. Back stateside though, Keith shares numerous stories of sometimes humorous, sometimes threatening interactions with coaches or spectators as we take a look into the life of a football official! - Finally as a published author, Keith is a wealth of knowledge regarding the football history. Therefore rather than a Start/Bench/Cut this week we opted for an open-ended approach with a Mount Rushmore of all-time greats in Canadian and Austin College football history! American fans may enjoy discussing some of the nuances of the Canadian game, and Austin College fans old and new alike will likely enjoy his Kangaroo all-time greats list Start/Bench/Cuts are brought to you by our good friends at MVP Marketing Group: A Turnkey Solution for Schools. THE THESIS: The Party is going to pretend the mRNA clot-shots belong in the annual childhood immunization plan. This will have deadly results in the near and long term. They have to know this. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: 2 Timothy 3:12In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,THE NEWS & COMMENT:Justin Hart's book: Gone Viral: How Covid Drove the World InsaneDr. William Makis Proves Canadian Doctors Deaths Following COVID Shot Have More Than Doubled To 80My team has assembled a database of 1638 Canadian doctor deaths during the period 2019-2022, with 972 of them from CMA's own website. Our preliminary analysis of this extensive data suggests that Canadian doctor deaths under age 50 in 2022 will be 2-fold higher compared to the 2019-2020 average. Shockingly, Canadian doctor deaths under age 40 are already 5-fold higher in 2022 compared to the 2019-2020 average, and Canadian doctor deaths under age 30 are 8-fold higher!McMaster University recently announced the sudden deaths of 3 young fully COVID “vaccinated” medical residents during the summer of 2022, which is unprecedented. All Canadian medical students and residents were forced into unscientific, unethical, cruel and harmful COVID-19 “vaccine” mandates.I implore you again to remember your Hippocratic Oath and your own CMA Code of Ethics, and call for an immediate halt to all COVID-19 “vaccine” mandates in Canadian healthcare.[AUDIO] - CDC is trying to quietly include a vote to add the mRNA C•19 vaccine to the annual childhood immunization schedule. This vote takes place in 2 days on October 19th. Here's why this matters:
The 2022 Azerbaijan GP which is held at the capital city of baku is another street track in the F1 Calendar. This track has mostly generated some great races, but we got one of the most boring snooze fests in 2022. Max and Perez got a 1-2 for Red Bull while Ferrari was probably bathing in their own tears after a double DNF. In this Episode we discuss: Well done Baku! (Not really this year) Ferrari dropped the ball yet again. Ferrari runs on Tifosi tears.

THE THESIS: The leftists are utterly destroying themselves with sex and control obsessions and vile blasphemy. God is readying a great time of harvest of new Christians. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: Matthew 5:27-28 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 19:1-12 What Jesus Taught about Marriage and Divorce 19 When Jesus had finished talking, He went from the country of Galilee. He came to the part of the country of Judea which is on the other side of the Jordan River. 2 Many people followed Him and He healed them there. 3 The proud religious law-keepers came to Jesus. They tried to trap Him by saying, “Does the Law say a man can divorce his wife for any reason?” 4 He said to them, “Have you not read that He Who made them in the first place made them man and woman? 5 It says, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will live with his wife. The two will become one.' 6 So they are no longer two but one. Let no man divide what God has put together.” 7 The proud religious law-keepers said to Jesus, “Then why did the Law of Moses allow a man to divorce his wife if he put it down in writing and gave it to her?” 8 Jesus said to them, “Because of your hard hearts Moses allowed you to divorce your wives. It was not like that from the beginning. 9 And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sex sins, and marries another, is guilty of sex sins in marriage. Whoever marries her that is divorced is guilty of sex sins in marriage.” 10 His followers said to Him, “If that is the way of a man with his wife, it is better not to be married.” 11 But Jesus said to them, “Not all men are able to do this, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are some men who from birth will never be able to have children. There are some men who have been made so by men. There are some men who have had themselves made that way because of the holy nation of heaven. The one who is able to do this, let him do it.” Matthew 18:5-7 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. 6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! THE NEWS & COMMENT: [AUDIO] - Biden refuses to take questions as his staff SCREAMS in desperation for reporters to leave Biden's presence [AUDIO] - BREAKING: Chief Bush-Cheney advisor: "If Jesus Christ was alive today, he would be called a groomer" The Biden administration says transgender kids are entitled to "gender-affirming" medical care. These girls disagree. "I have this intense rage in me over the harm that was done to me." Powerful, heartbreaking story by @SnoozyWeiss [AUDIO] - MSNBC's Symone Sanders: "My money is on the Disney lobbyists, honey." [AUDIO] - Psaki says that Biden will appeal the mask mandate ruling to "preserve that authority for the CDC to have in the future." [AUDIO] - MSNBC's Dr Patel: Carry extra masks on planes & force your neighbor to wear one [AUDIO] - WA Dept Health: Regardless of age or health status, you can be affected by COVID-19 while infected or afterwards. Another Moderna booster trial, another death [AUDIO] - American Airlines Captain Bob Snow, coerced to vax (jab or job), suffered a heart attack 6 mins after landing in Dallas, April 9th. He speaks out. All Canadian airline pilots were coerced exactly the same. Contact Cdn Airline execs & Transport Canada if you have concerns. THE LISTENERS: Jim: I was just listening to Your show where you basically said you think God put Biden in office and God put Trump in office last time. So are you saying God influences people how to vote, forces people to vote a certain way or stuffs the ballot boxes? --- --- --- --- Tim At this point in time I would vote for DeSantis for the following reasons: Trump was great on economy but ineffective at taking on the deep state. He was vocal but ineffective. I can live with his rhetoric but he should have by now, backed off his bragging about warpspeed and admit he was mislead. I voted for him twice but not his family which in my opinion helped torpedo efforts to gut the swamp. Cleaning up the DOJ is a must as is the CIA. DeSantis, I think would have the best chance at getting it done. --- --- --- --- Paul Most taxes are immoral. Taxing people based on beliefs or because they moved into your state is more so. Others being immoral doesn't make it OK for us to do the same things. You are terribly judgmental toward politicians like DeSantis. If they don't win elections they won't be able to do anything. We don't live in a theocracy, and this is not a Christian nation. Beating their chest about Christian beliefs, instead of common sense, moral values is just going to lose elections.
