Jonathan Jay Couey is a biologist and former academic whose pre-pandemic expertise was in neurobiology, with a focus on neuronal microcircuitry. I say 'pre-pandemic expertise' because, like many who took a stand against the military operation that was COVID-19, he lost his job.In this conversation, he rips apart vaccines and intramuscular injections, as well as explaining why RNA can't create a pandemic. In other words, there was no pandemic.
On Episode 28 of our show "Grindhouse Pizzeria" which is dedicated to all things encompassing various Grindhouse, Drive-In, and Exploitation genres; we will be taking on and dissecting what we here consider to be one of the all time great exploitation flicks with 1982's "Basket Case". Directed by Frank Henenlotter (Brain Damage, Bad Biology and Frankenhooker) and starring Kevin VanHentenryck. It's a gruesome and ghastly tale of a young man and the formerly conjoined and murderous twin brother that he carries around in a wicker basker around 1980's NYC! This savage story of Duane and twisted brother Belial even spawned two infamous sequels. Our discussion is headed off by our regular hosts Tom Komisar and Cameron Scott! Join the two of them as they take a deep dive dissection of this gritty exploitation effort! Come on in at the Grindhouse Pizzeria, pull up a chair, and grab yourself a slice! "They didn't want him to live. But he fooled them. He didn't die, he just got stronger."

It's time for one of those huge episodes. Well, it's a four parter anyways. 2009 was a decent year for horror movies, well as long as your don't mind the French extreme, torture porn, the found footage explosion, j horror and a glut of remakes. The highs are really high & the lows are absolute trash. But, what do I think was the very greatest horror movie that came out during 2009? Well, here we have the top 10. The worst 10. A slew of also rans. Some awesome mates. Some special guests. Several pints of beer and a 6+ hour running time split over 4 episodes. This week the usual gang of weirdos were joined by the marvelous Kolleen Carney Hoepfner to discuss The best of cinematic madman Frank Hennenlotter. We dove deep into Basket Case, Frankenhooker, Brain Damage, Bad Biology and more. We talked about the scourge that is SUPER CRACK and how it is effecting our cities. We may have wandered into discussions of drugs in general, Sleepaway Camp, Queer Representation, Fuller House, Bob Saget and his legacy, if Dave Coulier (and if he's a dick) and so much more. The episode is only slightly hinged, to be sure. #Comedy #Horror #BasketCase #Frankenhooker #BrainDamage #BadBiology #Hennenlotter #FrankHennenlotter #Sex #Drugs #Supercrack #Podcast #DeepDive #WannaDate #Movies #HorrorMovies #Reviews #HorrorPOdcast #HorrorMoviePodcast #LloydKaufman #Troma www.bloodfestpodcast.com
Frank Henenlotter's films are hard to nail down. They're not conventional horror films so much as they are bizarre dramas featuring extreme (and often fantastical) physical deformity, addiction, sex, violence and bloodshed. All filtered through a darkly comic lens. In much the same way David Cronenberg's films are not for everyone, the same could be said for Frank Henenlotter's films. But if you haven't seen his films, you're missing out. Join me for a look at some of the most boldly original films of the horror and exploitation genre, and the man who made them. Welcome to the sexy, violent, bloody and laugh-out-loud funny films of Frank Henenlotter.

This week on The Blind Rage Podcast, Tony and I explore Frank Henenlotter's criminally underseen 2008 exploitation classic BAD BIOLOGY. The Rugged Man, churned out one of the most oddly brilliant cult films of the ‘00s. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/blindragepod/message

Appropriately enough for the episode with a roman numeral "X," the Scary Stuff podcast is going full schlock and sleaze for Episode 10! This time our spotlight falls on exploitation master Frank Henenlotter, and we review four works from his filmography: Basket Case (1982), Brain Damage (1988), Frankenhooker (1990) and Bad Biology (2008). Our opinions vary pretty significantly throughout this episode, so we hope you enjoy this discussion filled with some script-to-screen notes, some fascinating history on Henenlotter's NYC shooting locations, a lot of laughter and even more random yelling. And as always, thanks for listening!! **CONTENT WARNING: more than one movie reviewed in this episode includes plot points involving sexual assault, and Bad Biology in particular features multiple problematic plot elements. ** TIMECODES: *Basket Case = 00:20:00 *Brain Damage = 01:17:19 *Frankenhooker = 02:10:29 *Bad Biology = 03:19:46

Film også nævnt i denne cast: REVENGE OF THE GREEN DRAGON, BASKETCASE 1-3, UNDER THE SKIN, BAD BIOLOGY, FRAKENHOOKER, THE INTERVIEW, STONEHEARST ASYLUM, BEST WORST MOVIE, R, MEN AT LUNCH, MEMORY OF THE CAMPS, BROADCHURCH (S2), INTERSTELLAR, SIGNS, DEEP IMPACT og mange flere!
«What puts the kick in a chicken, the magic in June? It’s just Elmer’s Tune» I sjette episode av «Attack of the Killer Kast» er det duket for Hennenlotter-o-Rama!!
May marks a great milestone in horror as the much anticipated American Mary (finally!) gets a limited release in US theaters this Friday, May 31st! To support the momentum, Hannah and Ashlee got a chance to yuck it up with directors Jen & Sylvia Soska along with their supporting gems Tristan Risk and Paula Lindberg about the film. The film was described best here: “The horror version of Legally Blonde”!!! Hannah and Ashlee also talk body horror in regards to 2000's Ginger Snaps. Both women dig not only the themes of feminism, menstruation, transformation, and lycanthropy but also Katherine Isabelle's awesome performance. They wanted to show her some shine for being the formidable Mary. And Ashlee would like to mention some of her other favorite films in the body horror genre: John Carpenter's The Thing, Martyrs, Hellbound: Hellraiser 2, and Videodrome. Some of Hannah's include: The Brood, Basket Case, Alien, Frankenhooker, anything Cronenberg, Hellraiser, Bad Biology, May, Dead Ringers, Audition, Re-Animator, and The Fly. Our horror podcasting partners in slime: Be sure to check in with The Whorer podcast for fresh discussions on older horror films. We shall return in June!
