For more information, bios, resources, and transcripts visit adalive.org/episodes/episode-140/. We all love to travel to learn new things, enjoy fun experiences, and make lasting memories. For many of us with disabilities, travel is not easy. We know that leaving home and going somewhere else has its own set of challenges. It can be difficult to visit a theme park or go to a baseball game, even one near our home. Our guest for this episode is Cory Lee, a wheelchair user and self-described “travel addict” who will share with us how and why accessible travel is possible and also fun! He shares his journey, starting with a trip to Walt Disney World at age four and his first international trip to the Bahamas at 15. In 2024, he traveled for 152 nights, working with destinations to promote accessibility. Corey emphasized the importance of early planning, often starting 6-12 months in advance. He highlighted the challenges of air travel and the need for positive attitudes. His website, Curb Free with Corey Lee, features 630 travel guides from 52 countries. He also co-authored a children's book, "Let's Explore with Core Core," to inspire accessible travel.
Mike Schnebeck from Fort Point Beer Co. in San Francisco is our guest in the studio today on Brew Ha Ha with Steve Jaxon and Herlinda Heras. Mike was on Brew Ha Ha once before in 2023, on this episode. Herlinda happily reports that Fort Point Beer Co. is actually growing and doing very well. They also are producing cider. And also, today is the eleventh anniversary of the first episode of Brew Ha Ha, back when Herlinda did the show with Joe Tucker. It was four years after that, on Feb. 8, 2018, that this podcast started. Cheers!

Episode 60 aptly takes place during Passover week! 60 symbolizes the combination of human strength (6) and divine order/intervention (10). The Biblical Exodus was when the Israelites were delivered from slavery (human strength) into the Promised Land (divine intervention) after 400 years, with the original Passover taking place on the eve of the Exodus. In this episode, Margaux welcomes back Cory Lee (Ep. 12: Vision on the Wall) to continue our series on hearing how prophetic dreams shared in past live interpretations are now unfolding in waking life. Cory talks about how he is experiencing the beginnings of an exodus himself, out of the wilderness foretold in his dream and into prophetic visions that God has given him. Symbolism from his dream revealed that God would begin taking him the ‘long way around' on a journey that would prepare him for what Holy Spirit is now beginning to unfurl in the natural. Join us as we discover what God has been doing in the process since Cory's original dream and for a powerful and timely word!*Scripture References: Exodus 13; Psalm 127:2; Psalm 27:8; Prov. 3:14“In Exodus 13 when [God] led the children of Israel out of Egypt, it says that the day they left He did not take them the direct route. He took them the long way around. He doesn't take us the long way around to keep us from [the promise], but to prepare us for it.”“All the heroes we talk about in the Bible were all formed and fashioned in the wilderness. There was a season where they journeyed into the wilderness. The wilderness is actually where we go to die; to die to ourselves, where we go to take up His will and His desires. It's a powerful thing.”Cory's Website + Book Info: https://www.coryleeleadership.com/shopMore on Breathing Underwater Membership HEREInterested in 1:1 coaching with Margaux : Free Consultation HERE Join the Community and Newsletter: HERE Email: margaux@permissiontoreign.comInstagram: @permission_to_reignIntro Music by Coma-Media from PixabayImage by Claire Fischer from Unsplash

Welcome to The Cory Lee Show! In today's powerful episode with Pastor Jonathan Potter, we dive deep into the journey of faith and the transformation from corporate success to living a life of spiritual fulfillment. Jon shared his profound shift from working for recognition to embracing his role as a 'son of God,' highlighting that our true identity lies in understanding that we are sons & daughters of God, not in our worldly achievements. From miraculous healings to the quiet strength found in vulnerability and grace, Jon's testimony is an inspiring call for us to embrace and see ourselves through the lens of God's unconditional love. Remember, it's not just about being a 'man or woman of God,' but recognizing we are loved children of the Divine. Tune in, be moved, and let's change our world together—one act of faith at a time. As we explore Jon's life, he recounts a poignant night that was a turning point for him, a transition from striving as a "man of God" to embracing his identity as a "son of God." Through his stories, we're reminded of the dangers of the "orphan spirit" and the transformational power of recognizing ourselves as beloved children of the Creator. Jon's insights are not confined to the theoretical; they're steeped in his own experiences as a father and grandfather, as well as his book, "Spiritual Identity Fraud." Through his candid conversation with me, Cory Lee, we discuss the shift in traditional evangelical thought, confront sexual brokenness, and redefine the grace of God as not just an antidote to sin but a preventive vaccine empowering us to live righteously. Jon's heartfelt advice to all our listeners is to fervently seek the baptism of love that can only come from above. This episode promises to be a paradigm-shifting experience, offering both solace and encouragement to anyone seeking authenticity in their spiritual walk. The Christmas movie is developing a power all of it's own....It's a double shot of holiday cinema as we double down on the new Christmas movie; Baking All The Way which is playing on the Super Channel now for those of us here in Canada. In this film a pastry chef from Chicago (Cory Lee) finds herself in Wisconsin convincing a baker (Yannick Bisson) to give her his gingerbread recipe for her new cookbook. The 'Movie of the Week' or MOW industry is keeping scads and scads of film crews busy here in Ontario and Christmas movies are becoming serious business. We had the unique pleasure of sitting down the director of the film; Yannick Bisson (who you may recognize from the long running Murdoch Mysteries) about what made him want to make a Christmas movie, the unique complexities inside the MOW world and so very much more....
When a genre of cinema starts getting traction in the public eye...sometimes you just have to lean into it...On this episode we're embracing the new trend of the "Christmas Movie" and the myriad of offerings that are being produced (many of which in our own back yard). It's time for Baking All The Way.In this film a pastry chef from Chicago (Cory Lee) finds herself in Wisconsin convincing a baker (Yannick Bisson) to give her his gingerbread recipe for her new cookbook. The 'Movie of the Week' or MOW industry is keeping scads and scads of film crews busy here in Ontario and Christmas movies are becoming serious business. We had the unique pleasure of sitting down the with the star of the show, Cory Lee to talk about how she got the part, the growth of the genre and so very much more.
Directed by and starring Yannick Bisson, BAKING ALL THE WAY tells the story of Julia Wilson (Cory Lee), a famed pastry chef in Chicago about to release her latest cookbook. There's just one problem: she's lacking the perfect Gingerbread recipe. She asks for fans to submit their baking with the potential of appearing in her new release. Suddenly, her quest leads her to a small town where single father Kris Thompson (Bisson) operates a quaint bakery of his own. As Julia gets to know the family, she begins to understand why Kris keeps his family recipe a secret and wonders if she should print it at all. In this 1on1, we speak to Lee about the power of the kitchen, working with Bisson and what keeps bringing her back to the holidays.
By far the most-downloaded episode of brioux.tv: the podcast has been a conversation I had two years ago with Murdoch Mysteries star Yannick Bisson. The actor is back to talk about "Baking All the Way," a new Super Channel House & Home/Lifetime original he stars in and directs this holiday season.Bisson stars opposite Cory Lee on the festive flick, which is about a search for the perfect gingerbread cookie recipe. Lee's celebrity chef wants it, and Bisson's small town bakery shop owner is reluctant to share it.Bisson says he pulled a few favours by asking veteran Canadian comedy stars Colin Mochrie, Deb McGrath and Jayne Eastwood to join him in the movie. He wrangled another actress as well -- his youngest daughter Mikaela Bisson, who plays a news producer. It's not the first time Yannick has stepped in with casting. He boldly reached out to add William Shatner to an episode of Murdoch Mysteries a few years ago.We also talk about Murdoch, of course, which just passed the 250 episodes mark in this its 16th season. To Yannick's delight, the Shaftesbury-produced series is also currently the subject of a museum exhibit in Kitchener, Ont., featuring sets, costumes and all kinds of clever props.Bisson also talks about his family's plans for Christmas this year and shares his not-so-surprising choice for best all-time TV theme song.

In this weeks episode of Principles with Cory and Logan, Cory describes what courageous leadership looks like. NELSON MANDELA SAID, I LEARNED THAT COURAGE WAS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR, BUT THE TRIUMPH OVER IT…THE BRAVE MAN IS NOT HE WHO DOES NOT FEEL AFRAID, BUT HE WHO CONQUERS THAT FEAR. I HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL AND THOSE WHO ARE ULTIMATELY UNSUCCESSFUL IS NOT BECAUSE ONE HAD FAR SUPERIOR ABILITIES OR SUPERIOR INTELLECT, BUT THOSE THAT HAD THE COURAGE TO BET ON THIER IDEAS, TAKE A CALCULATED RISK, AND ACT. IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS: 1. COURAGE TO MAKE LEADERSHIP DECISIONS. 2. COURAGE TO LEAD PEOPLE NOT JUST PLEASE PEOPLE. 3. COURAGE TO STAND ON INTEGRITY. Today on Mushroom Hour we are excited to chat with Connie Green founder of Wine Forest Foods and author of “The Wild Table”. Since 1979, Connie has been providing chefs like Thomas Keller, Cory Lee, Michael Mina, Traci de Jardins and many more with mushrooms of unparalleled quality. As one of the very first pioneers in the American wild mushroom business, Connie has filled a key role in educating chefs and the public about the wild foods now so widely loved in American cuisine. Over the decades, she has cultivated a network of great mushroom pickers has been woven across the West, Canada, Alaska, Mexico, and even Europe. Hand and hand with this wild life with wild mushrooms is a love and respect for the forest ecosystem from which the mushrooms flow. Connie has always preached principles of sustainability in harvesting and hopes that, in her own words, “commercial mushroom hunting can give a living back to loggers and make our forests economically more valuable in the long term left standing than converted to board feet of lumber”. What a privilege to speak with a culture creator and pioneer in wild mushroom harvesting.
