Kurt B. Nielsen is an engineer, entrepreneur, writer and keynote speaker. He has been the CEO of software and consultancy companies, and has for 20 years, worked internationally with Agile, Lean, Scrum, and other progressive leadership patterns. His views are deeply rooted in the Danish Coop movement with focus on individual liberty combined with responsibility for the community.Kurt is the author of the book Liberating Organizations together with a group of collaborators. They have collected a wealth of experience and documented the findings in this book. Liberating Organizations is a book for those who want to generate more value for all stakeholders through their work in organizations. We propose that this can be accomplished through a resilient and sustainable workplace based on people's freedom, engagement and their taking of responsibility. The book is an investigation of the cold case of freedom in organizations, why is there so little of it? The result is a solution, a blueprint for a Liberating Organization – a Constitutional Organization where there is freedom under the rule of law – not the law of the ruler. We show how we got to the state we are in now with leadership in our organizations; why it is not ideal – primarily due to lack of engagement; what a better solution could be; and how to get there. Marcel Henriquez – Red Data Solutions. We specialize in combining (unstructured) data from multiple sources to provide insights. With the recent developments in AI, this capability is increasingly the base on which these new KM developments are built. We are mainly focused on getting as much data as possible and structuring it to make it work for the required application. On several occasions we team up with other companies specializing in Knowledge Graph systems and conversational chatbots. I am our companies first contact for clients, new and existing, and I am the first to work out requirements with the client team. This is very deliberate, because I do not want technology to limit the question when the client does not yet know what they want exactly. When we have a solution on paper, that is the moment I shift to my technical experience and start working out how the solution on paper can be transformed into working software. #knowledgemanagement #KMsystems #dataprocessing #searchengines #onedatastoremultipleapplications #conversational_intelligence #natural_language_querying https://www.researchgate.net/publication/373707915_CLARK_Building_Conversational_Intelligence_for_Knowledge_Management_in_the_Space_Domain https://reddata.nl/cases/eglossary/ (dutch) https://reddata.nl/cases/esa-taxonomy-tool/ (dutch) Andrew Herd has 25 years of experience in the space domain, with the past decade as Senior Engineer for Corporate Knowledge Management at the European Space Agency (ESA). It was October, 1993. To Art Murray, these were exciting times. He'd just arrived in Moscow and saw firsthand the artillery damage to the Russian Parliament building, a.k.a., “The White House,” from the constitutional crisis which happened a few weeks earlier. He was invited to speak on the new "information economy." But the audience's reaction surprised him. "What good is all of this information if you can't act on it?" they asked. They were confirming what he'd already concluded years earlier - that knowledge (deciding what action to take) was far more valuable than information alone. He returned to the U.S. and launched Telart Technologies, now Applied Knowledge Sciences, Inc. Building upon over a 25 years of knowledge and experience, AKSciences helps clients around the world capture and grow their corporate brain trust and become knowledge-sharing enterprises. Clients have included: the Pan American Health Organization; Abu Dhabi Police HQ, Western Region Development Council, and General Secretary Executive Council; Lockheed Martin; the US Air Force; US Army Research Laboratory; Willis Towers Watson; World Trade Center Dulles Airport; and many others. Much of this body of work has been published in several books, including “Deep Learning Manual: The Knowledge Explorer's Guide to Self-Discovery in Education, Work, and Life (2016),” and “Building the Enterprise of the Future: Co-Creating and Delivering Extraordinary Value in an Eight-Billion-Mind World (2018),” along with the decade-long series “Future of the Future,” published by KMWorld Magazine. Through his many seminars and workshops, Art has shown hundreds of executives how to compete in a complex, rapidly-changing world. History When I first conceived the idea of Bwise, I had sharing in mind. I have always considered collaboration the best community effort. Pure value in doing something constructive while networking and sharing at the same time. I had hoped that BWise would be a platform where grandmothers were teaching canning and cooking. Grandfathers were teaching masonry and tree pruning. Where you could find an educator local to you on any subject you can think of. Philosopy I have always dreamed of being an engineer. Of developing a better car, or gadget. A way to capture or use energy. I only want to improve, not to be a burden. Since I was a child I thought one should invest in what is closest to you first. God, Yourself, your family, your community and your country. As part of my transition from the Army I had to ask myself what I wanted to do afterwards. It's a big ask, you must know your own self-worth to give yourself an honest answer. I settled on property management...you could say I settled on it because it was a sure bet. I was comfortable with all the tasks and duties associated with it. I know the return on investment. BWise www.bwise.app BWise is a fully comprehensive sales and marketing platform for the teacher, instructors, DIYer and mentor. Hello, my name is Laurie Sisson .Dollmaking has been a large part of my life for many years. I invented "The Foot" which allows dollhouse dolls to stand without doll stands and look more lifelike because they can bend at the knee and hip. All of the individually sculpted dolls I create are made with The Foot. Making One Inch Scale Character dolls led to making smaller scale dolls. Things I wanted for them were not easily available so, I made them for myself, then sold them to others who also wanted them. The Foot was one of these products (13 sizes) and so are the half-inch scale hats.I have always worked in multiple fields: painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, and miniatures. No matter what you learn, you can always find ways to use that knowledge. It seems that for me, one thing leads to another. Miniatures uses everything.
