There's always lots going on when Gary and Mark get together. We got to sample some homegrown syrup produced by Dan Cameron made from sorghum. It's a perfect way to celebrate fall. Gary whippeed up some of his homemade buttermilk biscuits and that got him talking. The main part of this episode is the retelling of just some of the adventures Gary and Steve Blizzard had in 1974 when they paddled 379 miles down the Ohio River and up the Kentucky River to Harrodsburg. They were helping the City of Harrodsburg celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the town (Fort Harrod) by Col James Harrord in 1774. As always, it's a great story. In this episode we speak with Joe Dan Cameron of Mesquite Cattle Feeders about the feeding sector of the cattle business, quiet cows and the unique history of the Imperial Valley.

Aaron's back from the wilderness and ready to talk about how Rand Paul should stop misleading the public (and maybe just skip Dr. Fauci's next appearance in front of his committee). Doug Price has an important listener-flagged story about hep c, greedy drug companies and Kentucky's prison population. Then Kimberly updates us all on hemp/marijuana crack downs in Kentucky from Republican state-wide office holders, Agriculture Secretary (and Governor wannabe) Ryan Quarles and Attorney General (and Senator-in-waiting) Dan Cameron. Finally, we're joined by Chris Preece, who's campaigning for the Democratic nomination for Kentucky's bluegrass-based 6th congressional district. We'll hear why this scientist and teacher (& comic enthusiast) thinks he's the right guy to take on Andy "big banks" Barr. We talk to Dan Cameron creator of Sprout Invoices
Do you know the basics of your faith? Have you got off track and need to correct course? When we neglect the basics, things can quickly fall apart. As Christians, if we are to be faithful representatives for God in the world, we must not neglect the basics as the Pharisees did. In this sermon, we learn three things that can help us get back on track. Matthew 23:23-24
Is Jesus really God or was he just a good man? Is God really like Jesus? In this Sunday night sermon Dan Cameron lays out the case for Christ as the Son of God. Mark 2 Additional resources on this question are available at https://www.moodychurch.org/explore-god/is-jesus-really-god/.

How can we be assured that the faith we pursue is not in vain? Christians are not living their lives on unfounded claims. In fact, we have credible witnesses whose claims about the promises of God are trustworthy. In this passage, we are shown three witnesses that give us assurance of our faith: the Apostles who lived with Jesus, God the Father who spoke at Jesus' transfiguration, and the prophets who's words were confirmed throughout history. The result is confidence of our faith in Jesus and His coming kingdom. 2 Peter 1:16-21

Matt Report - A WordPress podcast for digital business owners
Remember that line in the Social Network, “A million dollars isn't cool, you know what's cool? A billion dollars.” Well…maybe not for all of us. Dan Cameron of Sprout Apps, is a great example of an entrepreneur that wants to stay small and isn't motivated by the billion dollar dream. That's not to say he doesn't want to see his revenue move up and to the right, but it's not his motivating factor. There's a certain level of control that one has in business, by not scaling as fast as possible. You don't worry about hiring, paying more taxes, and expanding the product line. You do what you do, and you do it well. Storylines that won't make the rounds on TechCrunch, but serve as positive dialogue for those of us embracing a lifestyle business. In today's episode, we'll unpack the reasoning behind Dan's decisions, both good and bad. We'll also explore some of the growing pains Sprout Apps has experienced in the marketplace, like when a big brand started buying adwords with his branding. I hope you enjoy this episode, and don't forget to thank our sponsors Pagely and Valet! Projektet heter Power of hands foundation.
