00h 00’00” The power of a woman in love – Gloria Gaynor 00h 03’11” Presentación 00h 05’21” Cabecera 00h 06’28” Inicio 00h 07’15” Prolog - Ich hab geträumt von Manderley 00h 11’32” Du wirst niemals eine Lady 00h 17’37” Er verlor unerwartet seine Frau Rebecca 00h 20’39” Am abgrund 00h 24’17” Zeit in einer Flasche 00h 34’18” Zauberhaft Natürlich 00h 36’55” Die neue Mrs. de Winter 00h 41’44" Sie ergibt sich nicht 00h 46’02” Die lieben verwandten 00h 49’47” Bist du glücklich? - Bist du böse? 00h 55’16" Hilf mir durch die Nacht 00h 59’50” Was ist nur los mit ihm? 01h 02’44” Sie war gewohnt, geliebt zu warden 01h 06’02” Unser Geheimnis 01h 06’49” Rebecca 01h 09’53” Wir sind British 01h 13’19" Sie’s Fort 01h 16’43” Gott, warum? 01h 20’15" Ehrlichkeit und vertrauen 01h 24’26" Der Ball von Manderley 01h 26’57” I’m an american woman 01h 30’40” Heut' nacht verzauber' ich die Welt 01h 32’58” Finale Erster Akt 01h 34’48” Entr’acte / Zwischenspiel 01h 35’52” Und das und das und das 01h 38’23” Rebecca II 01h 41’43” Nur ein schritt 01h 44’12” Strandgut 01h 47’12" Sie’s fort II 01h 48’06” Du liebst sie zu sehr 01h 49’10” Kein lächeln war je so kalt 01h 54’53” Die Stärke Einer Frau 01h 58’01” Die neue Mrs. de Winter II 02h 00’00” Mrs. de Winter bin Ich 02h 03’16" Die Voruntersuchung 02h 07’22” Eine hand wäscht die andre hand 02h 11’31” Sie fuhr’n um acht 02h 13’17” Keiner hat sie durchschaut 02h 14’19” Ich hör dich singen – Rebecca III 02h 15’44” Jenseits der Nacht 02h 19’08” Manderley in Flammen / Nein, Weiss gott? 02h 22’01” Epilog - Ich hab getraumt von Manderley II 02h 24’46" Curiosidades y conclusión 02h 26’26” She’s invincible - Pia Douwes

In 2020, he was due to tackle his biggest project for us yet: directing Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour. Costi was about to move his production of La Traviata (based on Francesca Zambello’s 2012 staging) from the rehearsal room to the harbour-side stage when COVID-19 restrictions forced the cancellation of the season.   In this conversation with Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini, Costi talks about growing up working in the family business, De Costi Seafood, and how he’s still on call to work at peak times. He also talks about some of his early adventures in opera — including a production of Il Tabarro staged in a commercial kitchen in Enmore — and explains why directors are “glorified stage mums”.
