Earlier this year Morgan Buckert was the recipient of the "2024 Nest Heritage Craft Prize: Women of the West" for her "Cosmic Cowboy" boots. (Morgan Buckert Custom Boots)For more than a century, cowboy boots have been an iconic part of American Western culture. And in recent years they've had a resurgence in mainstream fashion thanks to musical artists like Beyonce and popular shows like "Yellowstone." Which for craftsman Morgan Buckert is a good thing. She's a custom bootmaker based out of Hailey, Idaho and makes gear so beautiful that it's literally been displayed in museums. Buckert joined Idaho Matters to talk more about her craft.

Through her own healing and experiences, she's come to understand the deep relationships people share with their pets, and how imbalances can be mirrored between them. She seeks to address these imbalances through a macrocosmic approach within in person and online sessions, helping both people and their pets come back to a balanced state, and she provides empowering education so that people can take the reins of theirs and their pets' healing journeys. www.pivotholistichealing.cahttps://www.facebook.com/share/metaWCmcgzZXuJjm/?mibextid=qi2Omghttps://www.instagram.com/pivot.holistic.healing?igsh=am91cjgyaGJkNzN4https://www.tiktok.com/@pivot.holistic.healing?_t=8lpeqK5pk8b&_r=1 https://open.spotify.com/show/7kAehLuHGBqUUntyQ7uviT?si=MC2z__RWQXCtUO0bmJ-bmAhttps://youtube.com/@cosmiccowboyweirdwest?si=8XomKkEkUplsyECk The Experiencer Group My book is out!! What happens to us after we die? Can love transcend physical death? Are time and space mere illusions? Existential and philosophical questions are at the heart of the music produced by Lord Huron, an indie band based in Los Angeles. Fans have given them the nickname of "Cosmic Cowboys" due to the nature of the subjects addressed in their songs and albums. Ghost - both literal and figurative - make frequent appearances in their lyrics, along with ancient legends, malevolent spirits, cosmological lore, and a smattering of broken hearts and lost loves. Ben Schneider, the founder of the Lord Huron, is also its lead singer and principal songwriter. Schneider grew up in the shadow of the Great Lakes where he absorbed much of the rich history of the region and the Native Americans who've lived there for centuries. His music combines elements of folk, rock, country, punk, Asian, and even surf influences. The sound is lush and multi-layered, and the songs address complicated ideas not usually found in popular music. Music critics have struggled to find a specific niche for Lord Huron, but the fan base has no such problem. In this episode. Jeremy and George ask Ben Schneider about the inspiration for his songs, pay a visit to the hidden Whispering Pines recording studio, and share video clips from Lord Huron concerts, including the current tour. Today's guest is as much a philosopher and thinking man as he is a creative force in the world of music. He started busking - which means playing music on the streets for coins - on Broadway in Nashville at 14. Two years previously the only thing he knew about playing guitar was the video game GUITAR HERO. He was good, damn good. Then he heard a Gun' & Roses song blasing out of a set of speakers and decided to give playing real guitar a try. Turns out he was even better at the real thing. On his first day of busking Daniel Donato didn't make one red penny. The next part of the story is one of those storybook kind of tales that seem more fiction than fact, Daniel is no stranger to the idea that if one is prepared, then that person will capitalize when an opportunity arises. One day he's walking down the street - 14 year old kid, guitar case in his hand and a guy from a bar - the bass player from a band that was performing - waves him in and says “hey kid can you play guitar?” The sensation of sound waves blasting into his calves from the amplifier standing on the stage just behind him transformed him forever. At 16 he became the youngest musician ever to get a regular playing gig at the world famous honky tonk ROBERT'S WESTERN WORLD - on Broadway in Nashville of course - Daniel Donato is 26 now, that's him we're listening to now. several cross country tours, a second album just released, 2,000 performances under his belt….. Some would call him a Master of the Telecaster...referring to the style of Fender guitar he plays, which you see all sorts of country stars play, Merle Haggard, Marty Stuart, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, REAL guitar heroes…Today's conversation with Daniel Donato moves from music to all things ABOUT LIFE, MOTIVATION, OVERCOMING YOUR FEARS, BREAKING THROUGH THE BARRIERS, ABOUT FOLLOWING THE CORE PATH OF YOUR HEART….WHETHER YOURE A MUSICIAN, DANCER, HITCHHIKER, SHOWER SINGER, HOUSE BUILDER, CAR PAINTER, ENGINEER, AMATUER PILOT….DON'T MATTER….THIS IS ABOUT FOLLOWING YOUR HEART Daniel Donato, he calls his brand of music COSMIC COUNTRYHe also has a podcast, called The Lost Highway, HE HAS A NEW ALBUM OUT CALLED Cosmic Country & Western Songs, released on September 30 of 2021.Daniel Donato is a lot more than a musician….wise beyond his years, here's our conversation

As Branch Rickey said,"Luck Is The Residue of Design." If that's the case then this host walked ass backwards into Lucky Thompsonville exploring the players who created regional music in this country prior to full interconnection. Cosmic Cowboys who played with Hugh Masekela, Blue Mitchell, Dave Brubeck, Cleveland Eaton, Donald Duck Dunn, James Brown, Randy Weston, Allah Raka and Bill Monroe. These cats were street scholars coming out of heterogeneous neighborhoods with Jewish families bordering on Italian Neighborhoods which bordered on the Black Neighborhoods where the messages of Sam Cooke, Curtis Mayfield, Wilson Pickett OC Smith and Johnny Nash permeated elaborate high school bands, opportunities in burgeoning studio scenes, game shows, commercials, strip clubs, 2nd cities intermeshing live stand up by Alan Arkin, followed by improvisation from the ghost opera in a brave new world where I lead a life, you lead a life and constant creation is paramount to further evolution as a human being. My guest figured this out early in his career deftly navigating relationships with Blue Eyed Soul Singers and Tripped out Drummers who swung the band to wash away the dust of everyday life. That was the purpose of the live music event. When there was light, a middle class and cats who wanted to be links in the chain for younger generations of musicians who were looking to be the straw that stirred the drink - maybe it was a sissy drink concocted by the late great Herb Wong or a beer with two shots of Bourbon in it made famous by Butterfield and Bishop playing all night gigs on the South side of Chicago. Or even better late night care packages from Bob Krasnow and Tommy LiPuma who knew they were dealing with crazed hipsters like my guest who has continued to be resourceful- using what he has around him, not in excess but rather letting the music come through him. Like a wise man once told me "you don't chose music it chooses you." Ben Sidran welcome back to the JFS

How to Run a Restaurant In this episode of The Restaurant Prosperity Formula podcast, host David Scott Peters talks to Steve Eller, restaurant owner of Cosmic Cowboy in Idaho. David and Steve talk through Steve's experience adopting and working with David's restaurant systems. Steve's story is interesting in that he was already using a lot of the systems that David teaches, but his prime cost was too high, and he was looking for the answer to why and how to finally get past the plateau. Steve was a CFO before he opened his restaurants, and he was a budgeting professional, and he talks about the things he learned in budgeting for restaurants after working with David. Steve is an independent restaurant owner who is using systems during COVID to get a deeper understanding of the numbers behind his restaurant's operation, get answers to how to improve the numbers and be set up to benefit at a maximum level once the pandemic is over. Plus, using his past experience in commercial real estate, he's planning to use his understanding of these systems to help him evaluate future restaurant opportunities. Listen to this podcast to hear an independent restaurant owner's journey on the search for what he didn't know. While the most typical audiobook is narrated by a single voice, there are many times when using multiple voices is a better choice. Examples include children's books (Tamara Shiloh's Jaxon's Magical Adventure with Black Inventors and Scientists), business books (Gil Broza's The Human Side of Agile), travel books (Chris Santilli's The Naked Truth About Hedonism II) and full cast projects such as screenplays (JD West's Cosmic Cowboy). Boogie Man Channel - Up All Night with the Boogie Man Podcast:
Live on Edge AM Broadcast Hosted by Daniel Ott The Cosmic Cowboy THE BOOGIE MAN CHANNEL If you were lucky enough to join us last night on the Edge AM broadcast hosted by Daniel Ott the Cosmic Cowboy then you already know. For those of you that were too good for us and didn't have time to tune in well this wrap up report has your name written all over it. INTRODUCTIONS FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT My name is Andrew, I go by the name Boogie or just Booges. I run a channel called the Boogie Man Channel on YouTube. Last night we were on a live broadcast called The Edge AM hosted by Daniel Ott aka the Cosmic Cowboy. We blew it up...my wife Bexx, my son Rex and I. We talked about hidden civilizations and their advanced technologies in the skies. The Moon, Antarctica, painting the rings around Saturn and even cloaked in our clouds. It was an awesome show and I'd really like you to take the time to watch it. We had A LOT of laughs. Busted some undercover gay doctor's balls named Dr. Steven Greer and so much more. If we don't blow your mind with the footage we showed then we will definitely make you laugh. It's a very fun and informative video podcast you don't want to miss. Bexx, Rex and Boogie Live on Edge AM Hosted by Daniel Ott the Cosmic Cowboy - Advanced Technologies Now that the formalities are out of the way I want to thank everyone that joined us during the live show. You guys are frickin' awesome and I love you so much. Bexx and Rex send their love as well. We are so lucky to have your support, your presence and of course your love and friendship. When we started this whole YouTube adventure we never realized it would bring us so close to so many amazingly creative, free-thinking and forward thinking minds with such big hearts and so much love to offer. We are very lucky folks and it's NOT something we take for granted in the world today. Our next live show isn't planned until next Friday and Saturday night - August, 16-17 2019 @ 9PM EST - 11PM EST. NOTE: I will be putting out some very fresh vids this week and getting back on a regular video release schedule. YOUTUBE CENSORSHIP OF ALL "CONSPIRACY THEORISTS" All of the censorship happening currently on YouTube, Google and beyond has been so discouraging to my spirits. It's made it hard to keep on trucking with this channel and with making new videos. It's a horrible feeling to be censored and have your mouth taped shut. It sucks to NOT have our videos watched or even indexed on YouTube. I'm NOT like other YouTubers. As a lot of you already know I've always been against using other's videos, images, music or even graphics. Of course I've loosened up on this rule of mine quite a bit in recent months. I've found that supporting other channels and opening the eyes of viewers to their work is important to the fight against this online censorship campaign and in the support of their work and efforts. I need to keep drudging forward in this awakening and teaching journey I've started but I could really use your help. When one of our videos comes out it would be amazing if you could really start to share them more regularly on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat and other social media accounts. I'm not asking you to put in an 8 hour day to support us but I am asking you to put in an 8 minute day for us. Just show someone one of our videos this week. Let those friends know about what you've learned from our channel that was simply amazing and/or changed your thought process about the world around you. Share one of my jokes with them, make them laugh and let them know that is what this channel is all about - having fun and learning at the same time. Also let them know about the censorship people in our community are going through and urge them to help and it turn let's hope they will sooner or later do the same. It's times like these we all need to help one another out in this struggle. GET INVOLVED If there is anyone reading this blog entry that has a YouTube channe...

In Episode 59 of The String we dive deep into the Austin/Nashville dynamic captured in the new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum special exhibit Outlaws & Armadillos: Country's Roaring 70s. Our feature interview is with Michael Martin Murphey. Best known to many for his crossover hit “Wildfire” from the summer of ‘75, Murphey's had a wide ranging career. His songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash and Lyle Lovett among others. And he's earned abundant recognition for his decades as a champion and revivalist in the field of cowboy songs and western music. But before all that, Murphey was a key player in the Austin TX phenomenon, residing there as a full time musician from 1968 to 1974. He was a regular at the Armadillo World Headquarters, the iconic venue at the heart of the live scene, where a diverse audience heard a diverse array of roots music, from hard country to traditional blues. Murphey, along with Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker (about whom he wrote the era-defining song “Cosmic Cowboy”) and others forged a country-rock hybrid that became the foundation for the progressive folk music field we now call Americana. Also, a visit with exhibit co-curator Peter Cooper.

Кроме того, теперь Ocean Planet можно послушать и на радиостанциях Proton Radio (1-я суббота в 04 MSK / 01 GMT), GWM Radio (4-й понедельник в 22 MSK / 19 GMT), Nube Radio (4-я среда в 00 MSK / 21 GMT) и House Radio (4-й понедельник в 20 MSK / 17 GMT). 1) Jay fm - My world (Mou remix) [PHW Elements] 2) Rick Pier O'Neil - To declare (Tim Penner remix) [Soundteller Records] 3) Stephan Bodzin - Odyssee (D-Nox & Beckers remix) [Herzblut Recordings] 4) Phonic Scoupe - Grudge (Dmitry Molosh remix) [Stripped Recordings] 5) John Digweed & Nick Muir - Track for life (Cosmic Cowboys remix)[Bedrock] 6) Bob Zopp & Naz - Durch die nie (Juan Astudillo remix) [Clinique Recordings] 7) Fur Coat - The fall (Original mix) [Last Night On Earth] 8) Animal Picnic, Aaryon - Calathea (D-Nox & Beckers remix) [Parquet Recordings] 9) Verche - Paradigm shift (Original mix) [System Recordings]
