It will become perfectly clear regarding God's heart towards you and why He manifested the Bible through man. When he sent the bible for us, He means for us to read and follow it while we are here on earth. You will find out that God never wanted us to be in darkness but under His covering within the power of His Spirit. You will understand that once born in the earth from God's Kingdom we arrive equipped to be filled by His Spirit. Although created in an earthen vessel capable of living in the earths atmosphere we obtain a sinful nature. You will learn that it is up to us to get rid of the earthen vessel's characteristics. To renew ourselves back to God and end the earthly lifestyle by reading the Bible daily for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. You have to make a choice. We are created for God's Glory and to be filled with His Holy Spirit like Adam and the Lord Jesus Christ. Just make sure it's God's Holy Spirit. This book will answer questions regarding: How the work of the Cross completed your direction for destiny Christianity is not what you thought. It is real. We came from God's Kingdom Your destiny is through the Holy Spirit of God. How to overcome the character you built Releasing your will for eternal life with God Dying is easy with the Holy Spirit Don't play with your life. Now is the time to get it right with God and your eternity. Your soul is worth more alive than dead. Jesus gave His Soul to God. Guess what? And so should you as His follower. Become a vessel for the Master's use. "If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work" (2 Tim. 2:21, KJV).

The Fisherman and His Soul by Oscar Wilde audiobook. To get what we want is often the greatest curse of all. The fisherman here accidentally catches a mermaid in his net. He falls in love with the Mermaid and tells her that he wants to marry her. She tells him that he can only marry her if he sends away his soul. From a Witch, the Fisherman learns how to send his soul away. The Soul makes several attempts to persuade the Fisherman to take him back, eventually convincing him to do so with the tale of a beautiful dancer who lives nearby. Too late does the Fisherman discover that the soul which he sent out into the world without a heart has become evil. So be careful what you set your heart on. This story was first published in 1896 in the book A House of Pomegranates

Catechism of The Council of Trent (in Less than a Year)

In this episode we begin our study of the fifth article of the Apostles Creed "He Descended into Hell, The Third Day He Rose Again From The Dead." The Catechism explains that Christ descended into Hell in His Divine person united wholly to His Soul, while through His Divinity He also remained united to His body that remained in the sepulcher. We also take a brief look at Question 52 in the third part of the Summa Theologica which is devoted to Christ's descent into Hell. In particular we look at the replies to article 1 and 2. (ST. Known for his Emmy-winning work on "Euphoria," and films like "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" and "Zola," Colman Domingo took on a new role with the animated short film "New Moon." Adapting a segment from his one-man show "A Boy and His Soul," Colman and his husband Raul set out to bring the words of Colman's mother to life. "I'm very much a mama's boy," Colman says. "For me, this is a testament to my mother's imagination." In "New Moon," Colman narrates the story of J.J., a young boy who is hearing about a special ritual from his mother. "I remember that moment so very well, of her teaching me about the New Moon and this ritual that I've had for years. The moment you see the New Moon, you just hold your hand wide open, hold your purse open, and whatever you're seeking, it will come to you." It's a joyous expression of love and positivity between a mother and son, all brought to life with surreal animation by French directors Jérémie Balais and Jeff Le Bars. If "New Moon" manages to score a nomination for Best Animated Short, the pair would be the first LGBT couple nominated in the same year. Raul describes what it was like to work together: "We see the best in each other. And I think we always encourage the best in each other. Because out there you can just step out, and you'll be just ripped to shreds for whatever and however and whomever." Raul and Colman co-wrote the screenplay for the film, while Colman played all of the parts, and Raul directed him for the rotoscope. "I trust his critical eye," Colman says of Raul. "And so we already trust each other somewhat creatively. He holds me accountable." In a recent conversation with Daniel Howat from Next Best Picture, Colman and Raul Domingo shared the heart behind their animated short film, memories of Colman's mother, and what they hope the legacy of this work will be.   Check out more on NextBestPicture.com Please subscribe on... He poured out His Soul unto Death In John’s Gospel Chapter 10, Jesus declared that He is the Good Shepherd, and the Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.  If we look closely at the word life here, it means soul life.  It is the word that is used for soul.  Jesus, who was in the form of God, Philippians 2, lowered himself and took on Himself the form of man.  What is the form of man, a living soul according to the Apostle Paul.  “The first man Adam was made a living soul.”  So, Christ became a living soul, and as a soul or living being, he poured out his life unto death.     This is prophesied in Isaiah 53 verse 10, “Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.”    Then we can see this again in the book of Psalms 16 “10For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption. 11Thou wilt show me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; In thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”   Christ did not see corruption.  We are joined to His person; His being is our salvation.  His soul was poured out to death for us.  He became the offering for sin, not just His flesh that hung upon the tree, but the entirety of His person was offered for us.  He then was raised from the dead, and in this resurrection, we have newness of life.  We have His Life in us.  This One, this Holy One Living in us.  Glory to God.

Having expressed grave doubts on this subject, a subject on which I cannot conceive any fairly educated person having any doubts at all, he proceeds, apparently quite seriously, to make the extremely limited vocabulary at the disposal of the British child the standard by which the prose of an artist is to be judged! Now, in building this House of Pomegranates, I had about as much intention of pleasing the British child as I had of pleasing the British public. Mamilius is as entirely delightful as Caliban is entirely detestable, but neither the standard of Mamilius nor the standard of Caliban is my standard. No artist recognises any standard of beauty but that which is suggested by his own temperament. The artist seeks to realise, in a certain material, his immaterial idea of beauty, and thus to transform an idea into an ideal. That is the way an artist makes things. That is why an artist makes things. The artist has no other object in making things.

For any child, a home should be the most sacred place on earth. But what happens when the people we love the most betray our trust and destroy our sense of belonging?   Rebecca Schaper is an extraordinary woman who has experienced the depths of this betrayal and used her story of survival as an inspirational example of hope, and forgiveness.  Her documentary “A Sister’s Call” and her book, “The Light in His Soul” are powerful stories of reconnection, and an intimate look into the heart of a family who has struggled to restore their lives, and face the dark traumas of their past.  Before you listen to this episode, I highly recommend you watch “A Sister’s Call” available now on Amazon Prime Video.  As an author, filmmaker, philanthropist, and mental health advocate, Rebecca’s journey of healing and growth has inspired countless people to share their stories of abuse and lift the painful burden of silence from their lives.

This week on The Literary Life podcast, our hosts are pleased to begin talking about Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey. For this introduction episode Cindy Rollins and Angelina Stanford are joined by Thomas Banks. Together they discuss the advent of the novel as a form, as well as some predecessors of Austen. Angelina points out Austen's satirical voice in poking fun at the sentimental novel in the first few chapters. She also encourages us to look for the real life dangers the main characters encounter in contrast to those sensations of the popular sentimental or Gothic novel. Furthermore, we ought to notice who is reading various genres of literature and what that says about those characters. Cindy and Angelina also talk about Jane Austen's writing and her economy of style and the lasting quality of her books. Along with criticism of sensationalism, Austen also adds a healthy dose of criticism of the education given young women in her day. We also learn that this is a novel of development as we watch Catherine Moorland learn her way around the world.  Thanks to Our Sponsors- Located in beautiful Franklin Tennessee, New College Franklin is a four year Christian Liberal Arts college dedicated to excellent academics and discipling relationships among students and faculty. The Dying Christian to His Soul by Alexander Pope Vital spark of heav’nly flame! Quit, O quit this mortal frame: Trembling, hoping, ling’ring, flying, O the pain, the bliss of dying! Cease, fond Nature, cease thy strife, And let me languish into life. Hark! they whisper; angels say, Sister Spirit, come away! What is this absorbs me quite? Steals my senses, shuts my sight, Drowns my spirits, draws my breath? Tell me, my soul, can this be death? The world recedes; it disappears! Heav’n opens on my eyes! my ears With sounds seraphic ring! Lend, lend your wings! I mount! I fly! O Grave! where is thy victory? O Death! where is thy sting? Kirsty Young's castaway this week is the author Jung Chang. Jung was born in the years after Mao came to power in China and as a child she took part in the Great Leap Forwards by collecting saucepans and nails and trying to melt them down for steel. She was a teenager during the Cultural Revolution and witnessed her parents being denounced and sent to labour camps. After Mao's death she came to Britain as a student. At the time, she says, she didn't want to think about the past - it used to give her nightmares and so she would pretend she was from Korea. But 10 years after her arrival in Britain, her mother came to visit. She told Jung the stories of her and her grandmother's lives and Jung decided their intimate, family history deserved to have a wider audience. Her book, Wild Swans, has sold more than 12 million copies and won a host of awards. Investigating her own life and those of her mother and grandmother not only brought the suffering of a nation into sharp focus it was also a liberating experience - once the book was finished, she says, the nightmares stopped.
