It's horses for courses this week as we have our final show before our midterm break. As the European election posters come down, we embark on our own leadership debate with a review of the season so far with the help of studio guest Graham Gartland. We discuss inappropriate trips to Croatia, Rovers goalkeeping woes, the secrets to Shelbourne's defensive success, and the battle at the bottom. And, yes, we even do title predictions. Dan also checks in with the lesser heard Keith Long to chat about the lesser seen Dublin media amid Waterford's brilliant start to a new campaign. Beyond that, there's talk of hairy babies, scorched press boxes, and the merits of sending dead or alive horses to the European parliament. As usual we cater for all tastes with Collar & Cuff, Lilly's Childcare, Rascals Brewery and Future Ticketing all providing the platform for the mayhem. It's episode 19 and it's time for a break!

Dave and James also begin to change their tune about Keith Long and his Waterford team, including James aiming his crosshairs at another League of Ireland manager. He also isn't a massive fan of Peamount United's nickname. Who thought a fella from Sligo could be filled with so much negativity? Despite Bill's best efforts to rebrand as the WWECast, Kerry FC still manages to unite the whole team on one topic and the love connection between the Peilcast and KFC continues, at least until one of their clubs undoubtedly gets dumped out of the FAI Cup by them. Whip out your Bibles, Baddies! In this post-Easter episode, Emily and Heather dive into the resurrection story with their deconstruction glasses on. Heather did some digging on the details that don't align in the gospel narratives of Easter, from who was there to what time of day it was to where Jesus went afterwards. She shares how she ignored any discrepancies as a Christian but can now look at it with honesty and thoughtfulness as she decides what she thinks of it all. We engage in a candid back-and-forth about the Christian response to the differences in the gospels, thoughts on if the differences can be reconciled, and whether or not the arguments for the resurrection story are convincing to them.  Emily also discusses how Easter was a significant milestone in her deconstruction journey, what past Easters felt like while she was deep in doubt-land, and what the concept of resurrection means in her current spiritual worldview.  We hope this episode challenges you and helps jumpstart your own research and thinking, wherever you are on your deconstruction journey!  Resources mentioned in this episode: Keith Long's article, How Does The Resurrection Story Change In The Gospels? The Bible passages referenced: Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, and John 20 Josh McDowell's justification of the resurrection discrepancies Rohr on Resurrection Resurrection: A Threatening Comfort Fact Check: We got some feedback that the other resurrection myths may be unsubstantiated, so please listen with caution. Putting this here for extra emphasis that that derived from a quick google search, and we have very limited knowledge around other resurrection myths. We apologize for any misinformation. Our work is guided by science and grounded in antiracism.”Keith Long, a Harvard Nieman Foundation Scholar and Florida Bar Certified for Continuing Law Education Credits, and I discuss what the Innocence Project is on the show today. This program is a 501c nonprofit legal organization that commits their time and energy to exonerating individuals who may have been wrongfully convicted of a crime. Keith explains what can be done through legislation to reduce the numbers of people who fall into this situation. There are thousands of individuals who are currently in prison or even on death row who are there just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time & can't afford representation. Please take the time to learn about this program so you can educate others and help spread the word. Keith can be reached for consultation via LinkedIn or Email.

Derry City have a number of personnel concerns ahead of their trip to Dalymount Park this Friday night with up to four players on the 'missing or doubtful' list for the game against high-flying Bohemians.  Declan Devine will be without Patrick McClean for the match through injury while Jamie McDonagh is in the middle of an extended ban having been sent off in City's sole defeat so far at Shamrock Rovers.  While accepting that his player deserved that red card, the Derry Manager said he was "at a complete loss to understand the extent of the winger's retrospective suspension."  On top of that however, Devine was also coming to terms with the fact that Michael McCrudden is out of the reckoning for anything up to 3 months having broken a metatarsal during training on Wednesday.  "I'm gutted for Michael because we felt he was really starting to make his presence felt. He has been fantastic in training and gives us such good options in games, so it's a real blow."  "That said, there's now an opportunity for players to come in and show what they can do. We have quality in our squad and I'm fortunate to be able to bring in guys that I know are up to the task."  "It will be a tough game. Bohs ended last season as one of the form teams and have carried that with them this season. Keith (Long) has done some really good business in the close season and they like to play the right way. It could be a decent match."  Friday night's clash may well see Eoghan Stokes and Aaron Barry line up against their respective former team-mates as both clubs look to build on decent starts to the campaign.

A disappointed Bohemians manager, Keith Long believed that Derry City were there for the taking before last night game. He also thought that the team didn't believe in themselves and didn't play on the night and that a days less rest than his opponents played a part in the defeat.  Derry City came away from Dalymount with there first three points of the season after Ronan Curtis put them ahead after 60 min. Bohemians had a chance to draw level soon after when McDermott was deemed to have fouled Devenney inside the penalty area. Gerard Doherty saved the resulting penalty from Stokes. The 2011 Casey Anthony trial became the most sensational news story of the year. Time magazine called it the social media trial of the century. The 22-year-old single mom was charged with three felonies including first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and manslaughter. When pictures surfaced on the internet showing her at a nightclub shortly after her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, went missing, the media and public went ballistic. Thirty-one days passed after Caylee disappeared before police were notified and then it was not mother Casey, but her family that called police and they were pointing fingers at her.  The trial resembled in many ways the Roman Colosseum, where crowds thirsted to see lions devour the captured prisoner. Internet blogs exploded, just as the Roman crowds must have, with demands for execution. The trial's streaming videos and interactive blogs left the public demanding to see an embodiment of Caesar give his final “thumbs down” against their prize. The trial jury was another matter. Jurors cried as the evidence against her was so thin they had no choice but to find her "not guilty."  Almost unnoticed, a few leading journalists protested the media carnival that became the Casey Anthony trial. They objected to the one-sided narrative informing the court of public opinion forgetting there is a difference between someone appearing guilty and the requirement that prosecutors need to prove in court. The media‘s coverage is something we should discuss beginning with: Did police arrest the wrong person? Was the jury right deciding Casey Anthony was "not guilty"?  Was Casey's mother involved in a coverup of a crime aganst Caylee? Who was Cindy protecting, Casey or her husband, George?
