Many of us came to this reality to save it. By doing so, we agreed to have a less than stellar birth chart so we wouldn't be seen by the prevailing ruler of this reality. We made this contract knowing that we would live difficult lives until the ruler was banished and we ascended into a new dimension. That entity is gone and the new avatar is in the process of being downloaded into us. We now have the option to upgrade our life experience. We are our own ruler. I discovered this technique when I wondered if I could change aspects of my own code. I held the pendulum in the center of the zodiac wheel and Phillip gave me specific relationships between planets and fixed stars that were an issue. I wrote everything down that he showed me and then he gave me a specific set of chakras to breathe through to recode myself. I have since helped Mark change aspects of himself that he has been working on for 30 years. The results have been astounding and exciting! https://www.12thlightuniversity.com/store/p/upgrade-your-natal-chart Part 1 and 2 are available on any podcast app @canyouvibratenow, or you can watch the videos on YouTube at 12th Light University. https://youtu.be/PSaXwy6Fgg4

Dr. Leonie Mattision is a powerhouse woman! She and I discuss her Jamaican roots, immigration to America, battle to heal that included a stroke, and how she conquered the abuse for good.We also discuss how she studied the Bible, where she found role models in several women who bore similar suffering and grew stronger because of it. Dr. Mattison applied her academic mind to these stories and saw the parallels with modern-day personal and professional transformation. From this work, she created The T.H.R.E.A.D Six-Step System to help survivors free themselves from past trauma and live an abundant life.As we came to at the end of our talk, we both came to reinforce this truth that "Your destiny is more important than your history!"Support our show! Hi there! I am Dr. Patrice Carter, The Coache's Coach and I want to share with you the essential practices of an effective coach training program as shared by Collins (2002) and Webb (2019). Below are considerations Coaching Instruction should be live, interactive and “in the moment”. The coaching instructor should model masterful coaching and should have passed an exam process based on coaching skills. Instruction should incorporate discovery and practice and large blocks of time should be invested to practice the skill of coaching. Training should be focused on participants learning the Instructors worldview matters and should match your own. These practices should be evident Practice individual coaching Practice coaching with other participants Practice coaching with other people Live coaching feedback should be given to the Coach trainee through mentor coaching sessions Practical considerations you should take into account: Do you feel comfortable talking to your potential Coach Instructor? Listen for passion, authenticity, ego, worldview, style, manner, humor and attitude. Be aware of the questions the Coach Instructor asks you and how they’re asked. Determine how much training experience the Coach has. Ask what is included in the fee as well as the time commitment required/anticipated. "Hello! I'm Michele, founder of Scarlet Thread Consulting, former soft treatment fabricator, and wife/mom always. I could tell you that I have a B.S. in Business Administration, but I'm just as proud of the diploma in Christian Life Coaching I earned through Light University. Additionally, I am one of the few certified Profit First coaches in the United States - and I am a creative on top of that! You see, I wasn't always a coach for interior designers and creative entrepreneurs. I wasn't even in the home industry at the beginning. I began my career in financial software development with Management Science America and Dun & Bradstreet Software. It may sound as if it was a boring experience, but I can assure you that the experience helped my tech, testing, and organizational skills truly blossom. I opened my soft furnishings company, The Scarlet Thread, in 2000. It was a welcome change of pace with challenges that any new business owner might face. In 2009, I began teaching business classes with an emphasis on good business practices and pricing custom work. I was an instructor at the Custom Home Furnishings Academy in North Carolina as well as at trade shows across the United States. I also formed a management company with several colleagues to manage and support the daily operations of the Custom Home Furnishings Academy. Over the years I have been asked to consult and coach interior design and creative businesses on how to move to the next level. The million-dollar question that I was asked most was, "What do I do next to not only get the clients I want but to make the profit I need to make?" After four years of teaching concepts to entrepreneurs regarding their business practices, mission and pricing, I really wanted an opportunity to walk beside some of these business owners to personally coach and cheer them on as they moved toward their goals. In 2013, I began offering coaching for the interior design and custom drapery workroom industry as well as other creative businesses. I served as Communications Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Drapery and Design Professional magazine from 2009-2012 and today I'm a proud member of the Design Collective and the Window Coverings Association of America, where I served as President of the national organization and on the board of directors for nine years. In addition to coaching, I host workshops, provide online training, I also offer educational seminars on a variety of business topics around the country." Karen Buckwalter welcomes Lori Thomas, MA, as they conclude their discussion on the importance of therapy for foster and adoptive families. Lori Thomas is a counselor in residency with Emmaus Family Counseling Center. Thomas is a co-author on The Jonathan Letters with Michael Trout in 2005, and a contributing author on the Attachment Theory in Action: Building Connections Between Children and Parents book in 2018. Both books are available on tkcchaddock.org. Lori works from an attachment-focused perspective. With the understanding that attachment develops in early childhood, and dysfunctional patterns may develop based on early experiences, Lori believes that nurturing healthy attachments is integral to the healing process. This attachment-focused work is especially geared towards counseling children and their parents. Children who have experienced trauma, are in the foster care system, or are adopted are some of her favorite clients. Lori has an extensive history working with children who have experienced trauma, beginning as a foster and adoptive parent, which led to her interest in entering the field of counseling. Lori has completed many trainings, including a 40-hour Nurturing Attachments Postgraduate Training by Deborah Gray. She also earned certificates in Crisis Pregnancy Coaching through Light University. In addition to co-authoring The Jonathan Letters (2005), and contributing to Attachment Theory In Action, she is also a contributing author to The Hope-Filled Parent (2008), Hope for Healing (2011). She is an active advocate and public speaker on children’s issues. She is the mother of seven children, three through birth and four through adoption. She served on the Board of Directors of The Association for Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children (ATTACh) for nine years. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, Paul, their youngest child, and two dogs.

“The unfortunate thing is that married couples come in about ten years too late.” This is a consistent pattern that marriage and family life coach and counselor Krista Cassell is seeing in our marriage culture. Why is that? What is the first step back toward one another when contempt has crept in? Let's talk! Also. We'll talk about double bacon croissants, saltwater cleanses, and eroded trust in marriages and rebuilding that trust! All completely related, obviously.Krista Cassell is a Board Certified Biblical Counselor (BCBC) and Board Certified Christian Life Coach (BCLC) who graduated from Light University with a Masters diploma in Biblical Counseling, specializing in adolescents. She received her Board Certification in both counseling and coaching through the American Association of Christian Counselors.Although Krista counsels and coaches families and individuals in all walks of life, she is most passionate about working with hurting families struggling with difficult relationship and behavioral issues. Her passion developed through her personal experience within her own family. Having a child with a mis-diagnosed neurobiological disorder for many years, she has a heartfelt interest in helping families who share the same struggles and want to seek restoration and healing. Krista is trained in the Love and Logic parenting curriculum, which provides practical tools and techniques that help adults achieve respectful, healthy relationships with their children.

At the heart of Laila Amine’s book is a crucial question: where is Paris? This question may be surprising for anyone who can readily point to the French capital on a map. Geography is, after all stable, is it not? Postcolonial Paris: Fictions of Intimacy in the City of Light (University of Wisconsin Press, 2018) shows that space and place are anything but stable. Amine focuses on the literal margins of Paris, and on the literary and artistic works that are produced in or about those margins. Rather than reproduce the well-worn trope of the banlieue, the outskirts of Paris, as a tragic space whose inhabitants are unable to integrate so-called French values, Amine carefully examines the work of writers and artists who have engaged with the space and have produced pointed critiques of structural inequality and the legacy of colonialism that calls into question traditional French narratives of cultural and religious alterity. Postcolonial Paris makes the rare and much-needed move of reading across the works of North African and African American writers, artists and filmmakers, thereby expanding traditional scholarly notions of thinkers of African descent in France. From novels to film to graffiti art, Amine writes about spaces that are oft-ignored and that remain productive sites at which to locate Paris and the attendant, highly contested idea of what it means to be French. Annette Joseph-Gabriel is an Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her forthcoming book, Decolonial Citizenship: Black Women’s Resistance in the Francophone World, examines Caribbean and African women’s literary and political contributions to anti-colonial movements. Carly Benson joins us today on The SHAIR Podcast the founder of Miracles Are Brewing. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and Coaches. She is a Certified Christian Life Coach through Light University and has also served on the Board of Directors for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Her mission is to teach people to love their weirdness and to bring forth the most epic versions of themselves. To live epic lives that are purpose-driven, passion-fueled, faith-centered and serve others in a way that offers impactful change. But life wasn't always sunshine and rainbows for Carly. For a decade, her life was jam packed, fully loaded with a party scene on constant repeat as if she had an IV of adrenaline directly connected to a brain that didn't think the word NO even existed. There was no place she wouldn't go or thing she wouldn't do to get her fix. One morning after a night of drug-filled oblivion and reckless alcohol consumption, she made the decision to clean up her act. Not really sure how she made it out alive, the only viable explanation is that God and his angels were watching out for her. Over the years, Carly has told her story to friends, family and even people she just met. The first thing they always ask her is: “How did you do it? How did you change your life?” It all started with a prayer…
