I bring on Hayden Hawks-Mayer (former and soon to be current HubSpot account exec) to explore $HUBS' suite of tools that make life easy for small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs). This episode explores a business model very different from ServiceNow's from episode #2; unlike $NOW, $HUBS markets tools to SMBs that focus less on extensibility and more on ease of use. Our discussion starts with $HUBS' free CRM offering and moves to a wider discussion of the common problems facing companies and how HubSpot solves them. We cover $HUBS' customer retention and ability to sell new hubs to existing customers. Finally, we talk future growth, including the company's recent acquisition of PieSync and potential uses of its $1 billion in cash.

Making Life Easy with Gwen Gistarb with guest Marala Scott The truth about David Tuccaro Jr lies deep within my soul. My passion, which is music, keeps my heart craving the innovative sounds of the past, future and present for it's rhythm. I've lived in the same bowels of anguish, pain and defeat that many beautiful souls reside, until I was rescued. This is a war, no one should encounter. Unfortunately, it has become reality. Leukemia is a slayer of life. It rips the heart out of a family, ignites dreams into towering infernos while smothering emotional highs and savoring depressing lows. In the midst of inheriting so much destruction from cancer I was gifted another chance at life by a benevolent stranger. There are countless others that need the donation of bone marrow to sustain their life. It's not easy watching a child go through radiation, chemo, consume countless medications and endure a myriad of treatments along with unyielding pain, to fight a vile battle they may not survive. It's painful to see anyone die if they don't receive a transplant. I couldn't live without it. Please, register to become a donor today because Leukemia is Bad to the Bone! By working together, I am certain we can beat it.

Making Life Easy with Gwen Gistarb with guest Dr. Ed Anhal & Michael Barrett BANKING ON KIDS was created by Dr. Edward F. Anhalt. Dr. Anhalt felt that with the average 50 year old American having only $2,500 in their savings account, and with the nation spending $65 for every $1.00 saved ... it was time to start teaching the merits of “saving for the future”. Dr. Anhalt earned his Bachelors Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, WI, After returning from the Peace Corps in Shiraz, Iran he decided to pursue advanced studies in the discipline of education. Making Life Easy with Gwen Gistarb with guest Natalia McPhedran Natalia McPhedran is a witty Mom/Wife/Coach and Writer. My new book Life With Kids is a collection of funny and candid moments of the first decade of Motherhood (with LOTS of bonus tips on how to empower your kids). As a Child Empowerment Coach, I help build assertive skills and self worth with 12 to 14 year olds through my interactive workshops and private sessions. I love to laugh and to make other people laugh – one of the reasons I have a great connection with kids. I wish schools would carve more time out of the curriculum to provide more social skill development and spend more time talking to kids about being comfortable in their own skin. That's why I created “I'm SO Worth it!“. I was a stay-at-home mom before my children went to school. I found it interesting to observe the unfolding of their natural talents. I am relieved that they turned out to be confident individuals – and I owe that success to having parented them using a “coach approach.” My 11 years experience raising my children taught me that not all techniques work in the same way for all children. Some of them need different tools and techniques that work better for them, and finding out what those are, is where I can assist. After receiving specialized coach training through Erickson College (a world-class coaching school certified by the International Coach Federation), I realized the importance of discovering your own personal values to be your best self. - See more at: http://www.nataliacoachingyou.ca/meet-natalia/#sthash.7oZThkNx.dpuf

Making Life Easy with special guest Dr. Linda Budd & Debbie Elder Dr. Linda S Budd is a licensed psychologist, licensed marriage and family therapist (approved supervisor) and registered play therapist (supervisor). She has been in private practice for over 35 years, and has watched as many of her younger clients have grown to become healthy, happy adults (and healthy, happy parents). Dr. Budd is the author of Living With the Active Alert Child (Parenting Press), now in its third addition. This title has sold over 60,000 copies: close to 40,000 in its Parenting Press editions, and more than 15,000 in its earlier Prentice-Hall edition. My name is Debbie Elder and I am the owner and founder of the Set Them Up For Success program. Back in 2000, I came across an article in “Reader's Digest.” The story was about a man in his early forties who had been asked by his boss to take some clients on a fishing trip. That night as he was sharing this opportunity with his wife, her reaction shocked him. She replied, “Aren't you worried about making a fool of yourself? These are big clients and you don't know how to fish!” It was his reply that had such a profound effect on me. He told his wife he had fished with his uncle one summer when he was nine years old. In his mind, if he could do it at nine, he could surely fish at forty-three! This article had a significant impact on how I raised my daughters and it gave me inspiration for my approach to parenting. I was so struck by the incredible truth in this man's words: what we learn to do as a young child remains easy for us as we age. Armed with this new philosophy, I branched out and started a new division for students in my company, Set them Up For Success.
Making Life Easy with Gwen Gistarb with special guest K E Hawthorne Dannah Gresh & Suzy Weibel K E Hawthorne has been super busy these last couple of weeks trying to promote and advertise The Guardian novel series. When I tell you guys that it has been work, I mean every word of it LOL. I'm finding myself wearing so many different hats that at moments I have to just take a seat and take a break. Sometimes when I do that I start doubting myself. I start questioning my abilities. I start wondering to myself: “Am I just wasting my time? When Dannah Gresh was eight years old, she prayed a prayer devoting her life to serving God with all her heart, all her mind and all her soul. But she forgot to love him well during her teen years. The plan to devote herself to the Lord was derailed by sexual pain. Healing seemed elusive, but when it did come it overflowed from her heart and into the lives around her. First one teen girl. Then a cabin-full. And it was only the beginning of what God would do with a broken heart. Today Dannah is a best-selling author and sought-after speaker Teen girls across the nation have learned these universal truths through Suzy Weibel's diaries – God is tickled silly pink, madly in love with you, and in the 1970's you didn't call good looking guys “hot.” They were “foxes.” Suzy has spent the past 20 years devoted to working with teenagers; in addition to her role as a speaker with Pure Freedom and Secret Keeper Girl, she is the author of several books including one of the Secret Keeper Girl fiction books, and A Teenager's Secret Diary Unlocked: My Struggle to Like Me it

I have also worked with people in their most successful moments, glorious highs and dreams achieved. It is always important to see the good! Therapy is not just about the negative. It is about the WHOLE experience of life, the good and the bad. One not being more important than the other. Therapy is an enriching process as much as it is a healing process. We can be as enriched by talking about our roads to success as we can be enriched by discussing our perceived mistakes. What I have learned from each person that has crossed my path is that emotions are the universal language.

Making Life Easy with Gwen Gistarb with guest Lisa Hein Lisa Hein was raised in a middle class family where her diligent father worked three jobs to support them. Sundays, church and family time were deeply cherished. In her teenage years, Lisa embarked on her own until after the birth of her son Blaine. That life changing experience, as a single mom, motivated her to recommit to learning and practicing the teachings around what it meant to manifest God's love in her life, and now in her child's. Although Lisa felt in control as a single mom of a toddler, three years later God blessed her with an amazing man. After Don married her, he adopted Blaine as his own. A family was born. Through their journey together she evidenced God's love within their family, in spite of unexpected challenges. Lisa became very ill and decided to move to the warmth of Florida , away from the environment and family she knew and loved. Finding a church home in a new place proved to be stressful and challenging. She and Don ran into personal conflicts with teachings at some of the churches they visited. Their hearts desire was to learn how to better manifest God's love, but the frustration grew so great that they stopped going to church altogether.

Making Life Easy with Gwen Gistarb with guest Elle Elle also a woman (duh, I know), and I wrote this novel because, well, because it was therapeutic to do so; however, I am publishing this novel to give a glimpse into why a young woman with many choices might choose the hell of abuse. It is a common choice that becomes an insidious handicap for many women because it is difficult to discuss and even more so to understand. This is me discussing it so that more might understand it. ? I encourage you to visit the 'A Good Cause' tab on this website to find out more about Break The Cycle and the work it is doing towards prevention of dating abuse among the youth population. I am not affiliated with the organization - I am simply a very strong supporter of their work. Yes, I am terrified. It is terrifying to write a book and even more so to put it out into the world. My story might be embraced or rejected. It might tantalize, overwhelm, offend, or bore, and it is hard to insulate one's self against the opinions of the masses. I think, however, that one often regrets inaction much more than action.
