Today - For home sellers, making sure your house is ready and appealing to buyers can mean you have to have a tough skin, but it can pay off. If you want your home to stand out in today's market, you have to nail the first impression. Clark breaks down how to stop turning buyers off and start getting offers. Also, Clark shares a terrifying cautionary tale that will make you think twice about choosing "paperless" billing. A systems glitch at Fidelity completely wiped out a Colorado woman's life savings, leaving her account balance at zero with no electronic record that she ever even existed. It took months of stressful battles with a flippant customer service department to restore her decades of hard work. There are currently forces at work that could leave you entirely responsible for proving your own net worth. While Clark isn't telling you to stuff cash under your mattress, he is sounding an urgent warning. Plus, Lane (Clark's wife!) shares your #AskClark questions and Clark gives his take. Medical Autonomy and Religious Freedom Cancel Out Vaccine Requirements

On today's Good Day Health Show - ON DEMAND…Dr. Jack Stockwell, a NUCCA Chiropractor and GAPS Practitioner in SLC, UT (866.867.5070 | ForbiddenDoctor.com | JackStockwell.com), shares a holistic perspective on health news today. Dr. Jack starts with an announcement the U.S. military will no longer require American troops to get the flu vaccine, based on medical autonomy and religious freedom. The annual flu shot has been required for all U.S. military personnel since the 1950s. The decision has sparked debate with public health organizations, like the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases arguing that high vaccination coverage remains critical for military readiness, particularly in close-quarters living and working environments. Some retired military officials have also criticized the shift, pointing to the historical threat influenza poses to troop readiness.Moving on to the hantavirus, which is responsible for the deaths of three people on a cruise ship, Dr. Jack compares similarities with the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and equates the deaths from Covid were mainly patients already dealing with comorbidities, making them more susceptible than anyone who was healthy. The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified the global risk to the general public from the recent hantavirus outbreak as low. They explicitly state this outbreak is not the next COVID-19, as hantavirus spreads differently and is not highly contagious.Doug and Dr. Jack join forces to address the battle of finding proper supplements, and one they agree is a great made-from-whole-foods option is from Standard Process. Their Diaplex and Zypan vitamins/supplements that trigger better digestive support and response while also helping to balance the sugar control in the system. Standard Process supplements are highly regarded for their "seed-to-supplement" approach, which focuses on whole-food nutrition rather than synthetic isolates. By controlling everything from the soil to the final pill, the brand aims to deliver nutrients in the complex, natural state that the body recognizes and absorbs best. All this and more in this episode of Good Day Health. For more on Good Day Health…Website: GoodDayHealthShow.comSocial Media: @GoodDayNetworks

Show Notes In this conversation, Simon and Amitabh discuss the current state of the world characterized by a polycrisis, primarily driven by neoliberalism. They explore the implications of this crisis on civil society, the role of the left, and the importance of grassroots movements. The dialogue emphasizes the need for emotional engagement in advocacy and the potential for change through collective action and solidarity. Key Reflections We are facing a polycrisis that is a manifestation of neoliberalism. The current crisis is the biggest since World War II. Neoliberalism has shed its humane pretenses. The left has become too centrist and lacks radicalism. Grassroots movements are essential for systemic change. Civil society must focus on holding power accountable. Emotional engagement is crucial in advocacy work. Generational divides exist but are not the only factor in activism. International aid needs to be reimagined for effective collaboration. There is a growing quest for freedom and justice worldwide. Keywords polycrisis, neoliberalism, left politics, civil society, grassroots movements, international aid, activism, generational perspectives, emotional engagement, human dignity Brief Bio Amitabh Behar, Executive Director of Oxfam International, is a global civil society leader with decades of experience in human rights, economic inequalities, governance, and social justice. Previously CEO of Oxfam India, he has held leadership roles in CIVICUS, Navsarjan, and Yuva. He serves on several global boards, including the Global Fund for Community Foundation and the Norwegian Human Rights Fund. Before Oxfam, he was Executive Director of the National Foundation for India and co-chaired the Global Call to Action Against Poverty, a network of over 11,000 civil society organizations. “The loneliness of Australia is going to be one of many fairly dramatic changes”, says David Rennie towards the end of this utterly absorbing episode. On Wednesday 12 February I interviewed David Rennie in DFAT's studio in Canberra. David was visiting Australia for the week, hosted by Asia Society Australia and supported by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations. David is geopolitics editor at The Economist having recently returned to London after six years living in China as Beijing bureau chief. He launched the Chaguan column on China in that role and last November launched a new column on geopolitics for the newspaper, The Telegram. David joined The Economist in 2007 and in addition to London and Beijing has been based in Brussels and Washington in that time. He is the co-host of the excellent Drum Tower podcast, launched in late 2022. Our discussion is not about Australia at all, really, but about China and the US under Donald Trump. Rival great powers, but perhaps with an increasingly converging worldview which portends, according to David, loneliness for Australia. This is one of the podcast's most important episodes of the past few years and I think worth the time for all those interested in international affairs. Australia in the World is written, hosted, and produced by Darren Lim, with research and editing this episode by Walter Colnaghi and theme music composed by Rory Stenning.
