Y colgadas de ese exabrupto festejaron las futbolistas del Deportivo el regreso a la máxima categoría del fútbol, acompañadas en todo momento de los suyos y las suyas, a pie de calle, sirviéndose del mismo grifo de cerveza que tú, botando a tu lado y con una naturalidad tan pasmosa que al pollaviejismo le devuelven los recuerdos del pelo largo y de la parafernalia corta. La afición festejó y respetó, pero incluso los más calmados sueñan a estas horas ya con, si se les fuese concedida la oportunidad, besar tan fuerte en los labios a Yeremay como para succionarle el aparato dental o abrazar a Davo, ¡a Davo!, como hace años que no abrazan a sus madres si se les permitiese la dicha de festejar una nueva gloria del Deportivo de aquí a unas pocas fechas. Deshoja el deportivismo una margarita de tan solo cinco pétalos convencido de que, esta vez sí, el destino de su corazón le devolverá una sonrisa. La primera prueba consistirá en enfrentarse a la letra escarlata impuesta por las aficiones del fútbol profesional convencidas de que los blanquiazules han maniobrado para enfrentarse a un equipo sin porteros que ha reactivado a un prejubilado de los guantes para hacer frente a la hidra ofensiva en la que, si cortas por sanción la cabeza de Peke, brota la coz zurda sana de Lucas para explotar la red. Este es nuestro primer episodio donde tenemos un representante de Comisión Deportiva, quien es la autoridad dentro de La Charreria en el tema del manejo y cuidado del ganado bovino y equino. Esta autoridad técnica se especializa en revisar que tanto el ganado vacuno como el caballar sea apropiado en tamaño, peso y condición a lo establecido en el reglamento charro de la Federación Mexicana de Charrería y en la convocatoria correspondiente, dependiendo del torneo charro y su comité organizador. Ramon Ibarria, mejor conocido como "Peke" en el mundo charro, es uno de varios invidious que ejerce el labor del titulo de Comisión Deportiva. De antemano, "Peke" nos comparte su trayectoria charro y como su señor padre fue parte de un grupo de charros que dieron inicio a La Charreria en Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Fernando Mora, quien fue nuestro invitado el episodio #23 regresa para platicar con su ahora coequipero, Ramon Ibarria, en el equipo de Las Delicias de Denver, Colorado, USA. The refined elegance and charm of these compact dogs assisted in their survival and solidified their place in many decidedly non-royal homes of today. Bonafide Bits: Chihuahuas, originally named Techichis, were kept by the Toltecs to guide their human companions into the afterlife. Both Pekingese and Maltese are referred to as “lion dogs.” Aristotle called the elegant Maltese perfectly proportioned. In 1926, Roswell Eldridge Esquire offered a hefty purse to breeders who could replicate toy Spaniels of King Charles' time. In the 1500s, Dutch traders smuggled Pugs out of China where they would become mascots in Holland's House of Orange. Featured Breeds: Pekingese Pekingese are compact, stocky toy dogs weighing up to 14 pounds. The coat is longest at the neck and shoulders, giving Pekes their famous “lion's mane.” Coats come in various reds, from golden red to darker shades. The large, short-muzzled head is a wider-than-long, envelope-shaped rectangle, and the eyes are large, dark, and sparkly. A unique feature of Pekes is their effortless “rolling” gait. Pekes are charming, confident companions who develop a tight bond with their favorite human. Bred to live in palaces, they can be as serenely independent as the emperors who owned them. (They're “opinionated,” Peke people say.) Ever alert, they make good watchdogs. Pekes will tolerate kids but won't stand for a lot of roughhousing. The varieties are identical except for the coat. Chihuahuas possess loyalty, charm, and a big-dog attitude. They are too small for roughhousing with kids, and special care must be taken in cold weather, but Chihuahuas are adaptable as long as they get lots of quality time in their preferred lap. Papillon The quick, curious Papillon is a toy dog of singular beauty and upbeat athleticism. Despite his refined appearance, the Pap is truly a “doggy dog” blessed with a hardy constitution. Papillon fanciers describe their breed as happy, alert, and friendly. A tiny dog, measuring 8 to 11 inches at the shoulder, you can still spot a Papillon a block away thanks to the large, wing-shaped ears that give the breed its name (“papillon” is French for “butterfly”). Some Paps have erect ears; in others, known as the Phalene type, the ears are down. Paps are dainty and elegant, with a plumed tail, and a long, silky coat of several color combinations, the base color being white. More robust than they look, Paps are little dogs for all seasons and reasons. They thrive in warm or cool climates, in town or country, and are eager to join the family fun. They are excellent agility dogs and are consistent winners at the sport's highest levels; less ambitious owners can train them to do all kinds of tricks. The large domed head with its long and lush ears, dark melting eyes, and chubby cheeks is a famous breed trait. They come in three colors: silver or apricot-fawn with a black face mask, or all black. The large round head, the big, sparkling eyes, and the wrinkled brow give Pugs a range of human-like expressions, such as surprise, happiness, and curiosity that have delighted owners for centuries. Pug owners say their breed is the ideal house dog. Pugs are happy in the city or country, with kids or old folks, as an only pet, or in a pack. They enjoy their food, and care must be taken to keep them trim. They do best in moderate climates “not too hot, not too cold” but, with proper care, Pugs can be their adorable selves anywhere. Eesti kuulutati osaks põhjapoolseimast viinamarjakasvatusvööndist. Kõlab uhkelt, ent mida see tähendab tarbijate ja mida tootjate jaoks? Lähemalt räägivad kaks teadjat veinimeistrit, Tiina Kuuler Valgejõe Veinivilla ja Peke Eloranta Muhu Veinitalust. “Kuidas teenida väike varandus veiniga? Tuleb investeerida suur varandus.” Umbes nii kõlab üks versioone tuntud naljast. Ent “Vala välja” külalised on küll muidu igati rõõmsa olemisega, ent kui asi läheb veiniteoks, on asi naljast kaugel. Viinamarjaveinidega on nii Tiina Kuuler kui Peke Eloranta juba mõnd aega katsetanud, nüüdsest on aga asi nii nende kui teiste kodumaiste veinimeistrite jaoks ametlik. Eelmisel aastal toimus Euroopa Liidu põllumajanduspoliitika laienemine ning selle käigus kirjutas ka maaeluministeerium avalduse, et Eesti viinamarjakasvatuspiirkonnaks arvataks. Nii läks. Eesti ühes oma 11 hektari veiniviinamarjadega kuulub nüüd põhjapoolseimasse viinamarjakasvatusvööndisse ja peab hakkama järgima sellega kaasnevaid regulatsioone. Need puudutavad nii tehnoloogiaid kui ka marju, mida kasvatada võib. Regent, Rondo, Solaris – need on vaid mõned marjasordid, mis tasub meelde jätta ka neil, kes seni kodumaiste viinamarjaveinidega kokku pole puutunud. Üldjoontes kuuluvad lubatud marjade hulka Vitis Vinifera hübriidid. Mida see täpsemalt tähendab, räägivad Peke ja Tiina saates lähemalt. Peamine küsimus on Eesti puhul aga ikka ja alati kliimas. Paljud tuntud viinamarjasordid ei jää siin kas ellu või ei küpse välja. Nii tuleb valida hoolsalt, mida ja kus kasvatada. Kui suur on lootus, et hakkame nägema kodumaiseid superveine? El Ministerio de Salud Pública (MSP) confirmó ayer de tarde que inició una investigación por el show realizado el pasado fin de semana en Punta del Este, en el que estuvo presente la cantante argentina María Becerra, el dúo de Mau y Ricky Montaner, Coti Sorokin, Peke 77, entre otros artistas. Los organizadores del evento denominado America RockStars deberán presentarse esta tarde ante el área de fiscalización del MSP. Fuentes de la cartera citadas por El País señalaron que se evaluarán principalmente dos aspectos: por un lado, si se cumplió con el límite establecido de público y con la debida distancia social; y por otro lado, siendo que era un show habilitado solo para personas inmunizadas, si todos los asistentes tenían terminado su proceso de vacunación. La comunicación del MSP ayer en Twitter indica que está vigente el protocolo aprobado el 28 de setiembre de 2021 titulado “incremento de aforos y cambios en recomendaciones para salas de teatro y afines”. Sin embargo, el sábado pasado el diario El Observador dio cuenta de un acta que emitió el MSP el 14 de setiembre en la que especificaba que “el MSP no aprueba protocolos, sino que realiza recomendaciones sanitarias en base a la evaluación de riesgo de cada actividad”. En medio de aparente contradicción, la Intendencia de Maldonado emitió un comunicado en el que indica que el show realizado en el Centro de Convenciones contó con el aval del MSP. Según la comuna, la autorización, emitida el 4 de octubre, permitía completar hasta el 75% del aforo (el máximo establecido para lugares con público vacunado), equivalente en este caso a 4.125 personas. También se pronunció ayer la producción del America RockStars que, a través de un comunicado, aseguró que «tenía protocolos aprobados y todo en regla». Los organizadores del evento manifestaron que «en el escenario interior la gente estuvo sentada y circuló con tapabocas, y en los shows al libre y las zonas de foodtrucks se exhortaba a los jóvenes pero no era exigencia obligatoria». In this podcast episode, we gain a better understanding of why dogs play a starring role in thousands of years of human folklore and explore the very real breeds that inspired the stories. Dogs permeate human myth and folklore more than any other creature. Their expansive field of vision, sensitivity to high-pitched sounds, and exceptional gift of sniff could be the reason many myths and legends portray dogs as supersensory guards and protectors of mere mortals. Dogs' roles in human stories reflect neither the good nor the bad of them — rather they demonstrate the central place dogs occupy in our shared consciousness. Bonafide Bits “Dogs of Myth,” a book by Gerald and Loretta Hausman, chronologically captures a treasure trove of dog lore. In Chinese folklore, the Pekingese is known to have the heart of a lion. In Tibet, the Lhasa Apso is the earthly incarnation of the mythical snow lion. Canis Major is the constellation that includes the dog star Sirius, Orion's hunting dog. In Greek mythology, Cerberus is a three-headed dog who guards the underworld of Hades. Featured Breeds Mastiff For the uninitiated, a face-to-face encounter with these black-masked giants can be startling. A male stands at least 30 inches at the shoulder and can outweigh many a full-grown man. The rectangular body is deep and thickly muscled, covered by a short double coat of fawn, apricot, or brindle stripes. The head is broad and massive, and a wrinkled forehead accentuates an alert, kindly expression. Mastiffs are patient, lovable companions and guardians who take best to gentle training. Eternally loyal Mastiffs are protective of family, and a natural wariness of strangers makes early training and socialization essential. English Toy Spaniel The ETS is a square, snub-nosed toy weighing no more than 14 pounds. The large domed head with its long and lush ears, dark melting eyes, and chubby cheeks is a famous breed trait. The profuse coat comes in four varieties, each with its own proper name: red and white (Blenheim); black and tan (King Charles); white, black, and tan (Prince Charles); and a solid red (Ruby). Blenheims often have a red mark, the 'Blenheim Spot,' on top of the head. The ETS, like many toy breeds kept by royals, came to assume the personalities of their aristocratic owners. They can be proud and willful, and extremely discriminating in their choice of friends. With their favored humans, they are affectionate at home and exuberant and curious at play. Tibetan Mastiffs can stand 26 inches at the shoulder and weigh well over 100 pounds. It's impossible to discuss this breed without leaning on words like “powerful,” “muscular,” “massive,” and “substantial.” And yet, TMs are quite light-footed and will meet a perceived threat with surprising agility. Lhasa Apso The lavishly coated Lhasa Apso is a thousand-year-old breed that served as sentinels at palaces and monasteries isolated high in the Himalayas. Pekingese Pekingese are compact, stocky toy dogs weighing up to 14 pounds. The large, short-muzzled head is a wider-than-long, envelope-shaped rectangle, and the eyes are large, dark, and sparkly. A unique feature of Pekes is their effortless “rolling” gait. Pekes are charming, confident companions who develop a tight bond with their favorite human. Bred to live in palaces, they can be as serenely independent as the emperors who owned them. (They're “opinionated,” Peke people say.) Ever alert, they make good watchdogs. Pekes will tolerate kids but won't stand for a lot of roughhousing. Basenji Basenjis are small, graceful hounds standing 16 or 17 inches at the shoulder. Basenjis are a lovely sight at a standstill but more impressive yet at a fast trot when they exhibit the long, smooth strides of a mini-racehorse. Basenjis are fastidious and will groom themselves like cats. They have been called a “cult breed” as they are small in numbers, but those lucky enough to own one do so with singular devotion. They're slim and leggy, but very strong and perfectly balanced, like a great athlete or dancer. Males can stand between 23 and 28 inches at the shoulder; females can be much shorter. Una vez más el periodista Pablo Cayafa trajo todos los detalles de las novedades y los conflictos del espectáculo uruguayo en el programa Hacemos lo que podemos. La semana que pasó hubo estrenos muy esperados en la pantalla de canal 4, el martes Los especiales de Cristina Morán donde recibió a los ex presidentes Julio María Sanguinetti y José Mujica de manera presencial y a Luis Lacalle Herrera por video llamada. Al día siguiente de la mano de Gonzalo Cammarota llegó PH Uruguay que contó con la participación de Graciela Rodríguez, Carlitos Páez, Giannina Silva, Gustaf, Fabián “Fata” Delgado y “Peke 77” como invitados. Ambos estrenos en el prime time de la televisión nacional no lograron estar entre los cinco programas más vistos del día ni ganaron en la franja horaria, pero cabe destacar que tampoco estuvieron lejos de llegar ya que la diferencia no fue tanta, fue por algunas décimas nada más. A nivel radial hubo un sacudón porque estaría confirmada la llegada de Ignacio Álvarez al grupo Magnolio y muchos de los componentes que integran este multimedio están enfrentados con el ex conductor de Las cosas en su sitio. Pero como si esto fuera poco, aparentemente no se sumaría a Urbana, a Latina, a El Espectador ni a Del Sol FM sino que el grupo gerenciado por Iñaki Abadie, Jorge Piñeyrúa y Rafael Cotelo comenzaría a administrar Azul FM en poco tiempo. Cabe destacar que en la 101.9 FM se encuentra hace diez años Orlando Petinatti con su clásico y líder en audiencia Malos pensamientos, lo cual hace muy incierto el futuro de muchos de los comunicadores que se encuentran en todas las emisoras mencionadas anteriormente. Black Kids in Outer Space interviews Kweli Campbell. Campbell is a Bikeshare Advocate who promotes cycling as a viable mode of transportation especially to communities of color. For the past three years, in collaboration with the Better Bike Share Partnership, Kweli serves as a Bike Share Ambassador and has led many group rides in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. These rides introduce new riders to the NYC bike share program and to cycling in general. From this work, Kweli formed a group for new cyclists called Brooklyn Cyclists of Color. To date, there are 23 active members who share their cycling experiences, tips, ride routes, fears, challenges, accomplishments and progression. Kweli resides in Clinton Hills, Brooklyn with her Peke dog; Sage and has two sons; Michael who lives in Spain and Nazim who attends The George School Prep School in Newton, PA. Kweli has been featured in different online publications like Next City and Citi Bike blog.

Street Fighter V fue el pretexto perfecto para que dos amantes del género fighting @IKARIKNOT y @killpeek decidieran grabar un podcast del tema.
