We swear the title will make sense in the episode. Pakka. Liverpool take the advantage on the top of the PL table as Arsenal and City served us a painfully boring 0-0 draw. Seriously. It would have been more entertaining to watch a snail fuck a slug. God. Amogh, Mukesh and Prash discuss everything from Guardiola's rant at Grealish, Roy Keane's assessment of Haaland, United's embarrassing draw to Brentford and all the action from St. James Park at Newcastle 4-2 West Ham. And Gabriel's teeth. We cannot forget Gabriel's teeth. Is the quadruple on? Liverpool got their hands on the first trophy of the season with a Carabao Cup victory over Chelsea! But the Lions made it difficult, holding off Klopp's 'Kids' to 0-0 till the dying moments of extra time! Was it fair for people to say this was a weakened Liverpool side? Or were they always favorites, considering it's CHELSEA they were playing? Amogh, Aakarsh and Prash dissect all that plus the contentious offsides (AGAIN!), Everton's points deduction appeal being successful, Man United's alleged interest in Ross Barkley and James Tarkowski's love for shagging. Fun times. In this episode of CCIM, host Dana Phang interviews Dr Prash Puspanathan, who will be presenting at the upcoming Creative Careers in Medicine 2024 conference. Prash shares his unique journey in medicine and the path that ultimately led him to found two companies.Prash was drawn to medicine due to his personal connection as Asia's second IVF baby, a testament to the power of medicine and science. This led him to transition from surgery to psychiatry, specifically focusing on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Prash's current work involves pioneering research and development in the field, with a focus on leveraging technology to optimise the psychotherapy component of psychedelic therapy.Prash advises aspiring clinicians to take the time to explore different opportunities and specialisations, emphasising the importance of gaining clinical experience and foundational knowledge. The Manchester derby ended in a comfortable 0-3 victory for Pep's Blues, but questions are now beginning to be asked about TenHag and his control over the dressing room. Is he losing the faith of the players? The body language of the top players at United seemed to suggest so. Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered a shock defeat to Brentford even after dominating most of the game, and Arsenal put 5 past Sheffield. Even the commentators got on the act and thre shade at the blades...and at Kai Havertz. Plus, SPURS ARE TOP?! Ange's men are rocking it this season. You'd think Harry Kane is kicking himself, but old Kane-o is getting hat trick after hat trick in the Bundesliga, with Bayern scoring 8 goals in one half! We also bring back the GAME! Mukesh hosts a weekly quiz for us, as Aakarsh, I and sometimes Prash go head to head, showing off our football knowledge. It was Christmas of 1970, and Charles King and Christopher Lowery were watching a motorcycle race at Mack Park in Hamilton, Australia. Most 18-year-olds at the race that day were innocently chatting about bikes and beer. But Lowery and King were not most 18-year-olds, and they were talking about what it would be like to kill a girl. It was only a matter of time before they turned their thoughts into reality. Thanks for listening! There is a little voice inside your head. It's self-doubt, and it's holding you back from reaching your full potential. It talks to you and makes you believe that soon everyone else will find out the truth. That you are a fraud.Does this sound familiar?I'm talking about the infamous "imposter syndrome"Imposter syndrome is defined as a collection of feelings of inadequacy that persist despite evidence of success. It is commonly experienced by high achievers who are unable to internalise and accept their successes. The voice of self-doubt tells you that you are not good enough, that you have only been lucky or that others have just been too kind. This can be extremely debilitating and it's something that I have been really wanting to talk in the show for a long time.Because I myself have experienced it and I know how much it can hold you back. You're not alone. We all have self-doubt, but some of us are more prone to this condition. If you're a perfectionist, if you're highly self-critical, or if you have a lot of self-imposed pressure to succeed, then you might be more likely to experience imposter syndrome. So how can you deal with it?The first step is recognising that you have it.Awareness is key.If you're somebody who experiences imposter syndrome, This is the episode for you.Tune in as Carole and I discuss the imposter syndrome and how to conquer it.If you're struggling with self-doubt, this is a must-listen!

In this episode we talk about the upcoming Ashes series and Australia's rivalry with the poms. This might as well be another language for a lot of listeners, but we can assure you, to people in Australia and England it is deadly serious. Of course we are talking about sport. And one sport dominates Australia in summer - cricket. So, we have Prash back by popular demand to help explain this strange addiction that captivates more people on the planet than any other sport (except for one). We talk about the history of cricket, why this series means so much to world sport and many more oddities that will appear strange to anyone who hasn't grown up with cricket. But this episode is not just limited to cricket. We get a chance to talk to Prash about his language learning journey. His reflection on how colonialism has impacted on his life, and the lives of his peers. He also reflects on how others are now connecting with identity and place through language, as he has a perspective of being outside his country of birth for a substantial period of time. He also talks about his reflections on international exams which many students will find insightful and helpful for their own life journeys in the future. Enjoy this episode that is chock a block full of cultural information and essential listening for anyone wanting to learn about Aussie culture. And of course, come on Aussie come on come on!

There is nothing that Australians like to do more than talk about sport. And as we come in to the Summer months, there's one sport that dominates conversation in Australia - cricket. So in this episode, we're bashing it out. And of course, there is nothing that unites (and divides) some communities in Australia, like cricket. And that's how I met my friend and guest on this week's program - Prashant. I met Prash when we both decided to have a bash at our local cricket club in Darwin. He recounts his experiences of leaving the mega-cities of India, and the cultural shock of arriving in a small city such as Darwin. We talk about how cricket is an excellent example of multiculturalism and mult-lingualism in Australia. In our matches, we talk about how you could hear, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil and English all in the one conversation. And of course, we talk about the word bash. Now a familiar Aussie word, you will even come to know the "Big Bash" - a cricket tournament in Australia. Enjoy this conversation and we hope it doesn't leave you bashed up!

What's Your True Passion_ REAL TALK with Prash K and Alexander Reid
Living Your Life to Other Peoples Standards!
What is comparison? And Is there such a thing as comparison disease?Let me tell you something... If you spend your life continuously trying to please everyone you'll soon be on the way to an unfulfilled life.Yes, we do need a bit of healthy competition as we grow in life.I'm sure at some point you said ‘I want to be like him' or ‘if she can do it, so can I' and that comparison isn't that bad. It is inspiring you to go get it.But when you compare yourself excessively to others, you handcuff yourself. You programme your mind to live your life for someone else. Overloading yourself so much that you are going to start doubting yourself.Don't waste your precious time living a life that was not quite what you wanted or expected. In this episode, I want to remind you that you no longer need to succumb to other's pressure to define your happiness.Join me in this juicy episode as I talk with former MMA fighter turned actor, Alex Reid, about what comparing yourself to others does, the challenges in life and how you can always get yourself back up no matter how hard life hits you.
