and are on a mission to inspire women to redefine success by blending ancient wisdom with modern leadership. They have co-authored a book, to be released on February 14, 2024, . Rimi, a previous guest on my , and Samantha shared their origin stories with me, including how they met and developed the work that evolved into their book. They each made significant changes in their lives towards a deeper sense of purpose and well-being. Then, Samantha and her husband stayed at the owned by Rimi and her husband in the Azores. The women made a fast connection based on their common interests in health and well-being and kept in touch weekly after Samantha returned home to the US. Rimi and Samantha began to plan a nutrition and yoga retreat for April 2020, which did not occur, yet they continued to talk, and a powerful theme surfaced. Samantha shared, “I'm tired of being told to be resilient. Resilience is not enough to deal with the stressors and challenges of the day.” They developed an online course, Going Beyond Resilience. The response from participants was so transformative that Rimi and Samantha created the term Rootsilience ("root - zeel - ience"), which informed their book. Rootsilience takes the notion of "resilience" a step deeper and teaches us to be grounded, rooted, and able to respond to stressors from a place of stability rather than being stretched beyond our limits. We need to rise beyond resilience to Rootsilience. Beyond Resilience to Rootsilience combines three key branches: conscious leadership, healing foods, and mind-body integration. The book highlights experiences from Rimi's and Samantha's lives, illustrating key lessons for women leaders. When Rimi and her husband chose to 'Take the Leap', it didn't seem TOO difficult. Leaving a good corporate job with a decent nest egg and opening an island retreat center in the Azores seemed relatively safe. Everything sounds good in theory. In your living room in Massachusetts. However, things can go south in a hurry when 'island time' and contractors and language barriers all combine into a perfect storm. That living room feeling can seem impossibly far away. Hard times show us who we are inside, but they can also just be SO hard to navigate, and there are many who lose their way when the chips are down. In this episode, Rimi shares her story of resilience, of reinvention of self and heart, and the power of creativity and healing that led to her development of amazing Retreats that combine nature, yoga, island cuisine and deep renewal. Black sand beaches, hot springs, volcanic energy and local foods and fruits all work a powerful magic that she harnesses to point in a different direction for our lives, one that can have a lasting impact on all of us for generations. In this episode, Rimi Chakraborty and I dive into the topic of living in accordance with our core values. Discover how embracing challenges can lead to personal growth and uncover the true meaning of success. In addition, explore the responsibility that intelligent and influential individuals have in finding tangible solutions for our world's pressing issues.
With an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and an engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Rimi Chakraborty swiftly worked her way "to the top" from cutting deals on Wall St. to the epicenter of the Boston technology hub in strategy and management consulting roles. Yet, her life could have gone very differently. Born in Alabama, the only child of immigrant Indian parents (who met on their wedding day via an arranged marriage), Rimi's early years were deeply troubled. At 8, her family moved to Philadelphia, and soon after, her parents separated. Rimi lived with her mother, who worked evening shifts and developed an alcohol addiction, leaving her unavailable as a parent. While maintaining straight-A grades, Rimi joined a gang, nearly got expelled from school, and was on a first-name basis with the police. By high school, she moved in with her father and stepmother, where her life stabilized. She went to UPenn, graduated, and got a Wall Street job. As she raced to the pinnacles of success, Rimi realized she was sacrificing her health and happiness. Instead of ignoring the voices in her head, heart, and body, Rimi chose to live and lead with purpose. In 2015 she and her husband moved to his homeland, the Azores, Portugal, and opened a lodge and learning center, Quinta Minuvida, where she leads retreats and leadership workshops. Rimi learned the language, embraced a new life, and redefined her metrics of success, enabling her to live in alignment with her values. This became the foundation for her Mindful Business Leader framework. Today, she brings her innovative tools and teaching to Fortune 500 companies, private companies, universities, and individuals to bridge traditional leadership with creative and emotional intelligence. In this week's Work From The Inside Out podcast, follow Rimi's journey and work: Rimi is the co-founder of Rise Beyond Resilience to ROOTsilience and has a book coming out in October 2023. She teaches yoga and mindfulness globally and online, customizing mindfulness programs and courses for private and public companies. Have you ever felt the prickling sense of a pair of eyes gazing at you from a place unseen? Are you able to instantly locate the sound of a cellphone ringing anywhere in your room? Do you sometimes see faces in the patterns of woodgrain or on a popcorn ceiling? And, most importantly, has a pink haired girl every broken your arm or hurled you from a building? If so, you may be entitled to damages. This month, to close out 2022 and our coverage of Chaos;Head Noah, Sara, Runa, and returning guest Meowgon dig deep to excavate the remainder of the main story, play through the alternate endings, and experience the true horror of the Noah experience: The Girls' routes. After following Taku's growing paranoia and increasing entanglement in the NewGen murder cases and the vast conspiracy surrounding di-swords and their wielders, we arrive with him at the top of a skyscraper overlooking the scramble crossing as he finally lays eyes on his own sword. A mild earthquake has somehow caused a record number of casualties, Nanami has been kidnapped, and Rimi has vanished as Taku stands above a crowd of thousands, looks out across the crossing, and reaches for the outline of a di-sword. Unfortunately for him, it will be almost four more chapters until he claims it. Chaos;Head Noah is a remake and update of the original Chaos;Head, originally released in 2008 and only now available in 2022 with an official English version. In this half of our coverage, we'll cover the last five chapters of the core game of Chaos;Head Noah, the additional Crying Sky ending, all of the Girls' Routes and their associated endings, and then the "Blue Sky" ending added to the Noah version, unlocked once you complete every other available ending in the game. After the earthquake that closed out Chapter 5, reports pour in of massive casualties with over 300 injured and over 100 dead, all from a simple 5.6 earthquake which centralized most of its damage exclusively within Shibuya. Taku, however, has far more dire things to worry about as Shogun has sent him a "present" - Nanami's severed right hand, still clutching her cell phone, and wrapped up carefully in a cardboard box. From there, things only get worse for Taku: A mysterious caller tries to force him to manifest his di-sword, his classmates sneer at him after he's humiliated on a live nationwide broadcast, more NewGen murders occur, Sena tries to kill him for inadvertently creating the formula that allows a mind control device to function, and worst of all he tries to go back home. In the end, no matter what path you take through the story, Shibuya lies in ruins. As a note to listeners who want to read along with us, Chaos;Head Noah is a horror game with a long list of graphic, disturbing, and potentially anxiety-inducing topics. While we mention a few of them in our episode, because of the wide variety of delusions present in the game and the breadth of content included, it's impossible for us to list all of the things that come up in even just these first 5 chapters. We encourage you to seek out a list of content warnings before playing. As always, if you enjoy our episodes, please rate and review us wherever you listen to podcasts! Jau vairākus gadus tiek runāts par to, ka veikalos vairs neatļaus izmantot bezmaksas plastmasas maisiņus.

On today's episode, I'm sitting down with founder of plant-based chocolate brand, Love Raw. Growing up with two entrepreneurial parents, this week's guest had no idea how much of an impact her family's businesses would have on her adult life. Taking a detour into the world of finance first, it wasn't too long before her inner entrepreneur bubbled to the surface and she took a leap of faith into the world of health foods. Setting up shop in her in-laws' garage, she never would've expected Whole Foods to be the company that took a chance on her, but an initial order of 500 cases, an appearance on Dragons Den and multiple supermarket shelves later - it's safe to say this was a risk that massively paid off! To tell her story in her own words, here's what it's like to be Rimi Thapar. Shop Love Raw here Follow them @loveraw

This week I'm speaking with Rimi Thapar, co-founder of LoveRaw one of the UK's most exciting snacking companies: LoveRaw. Rimi's story is an extraordinary one rooted in a passion for creating great tasting vegan chocolate. In this episode we explore how Rimi decided to chance it all and move from Spain back to the UK to create a thriving start up which is now listed in UK retail outlets. This podcast is produced by Vevolution and edited by Bridey Addison-Child.
In our first episode, we talk with Joel Varghese from RIMI. We cover how RIMI was started, who it currently helps, and what the future looks like. Rimi Ejner is full of ambition and goals. When she sets her mind to do something, it is obvious that nothing will stand in her path to success. Rimi shows us that even though something is scary and challenging when you face it and do it anyway your life becomes rewarding and exhilarating. When Rimi had the opportunity to try out for the boys football and baseball teams she jumped at the chance to play. It turned out she was really good at it too. She also put in the extra work to study the biomechanics and she analyzes the game fundamentals to the point where she gave herself an edge to win and succeed. Even though her teammates doubted her abilities she never let this alienate her or question if she was going to play or not. In fact it made her work even harder to show them that she was a superstar. Listen to Rimi's amazing story of fighting against the status quo and challenging gender stereotypes to become a respected teammate on “the boys” teams. https://www.instagram.com/rimi.ejner/
