"The Order" has been linked to crimes against children, kidnappings, multi-million dollar bio-fuel frauds, public corruption, and more.

In this episode, Dr. Tawni Tidwell shares the latest research into the meditative state of Tukdam. Tukdam is the practice of realizing mind's innermost essence at the moment of death. Pratcitioner's who die in the Tukdam state exhibit minimal signs of bodily decomposition, sometimes for weeks. Tawni Tidwell is a biocultural anthropologist (PhD 2017, Emory University) and Tibetan medical doctor (Kachupa degree 2015, Qinghai University Tibetan Medical College). She is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Center for Healthy Minds of University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tawni's research facilitates bridges across the Western scientific tradition and Tibetan medical tradition along with their attendant epistemologies and ontologies. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and University of Vienna, where her work focused on pharmacological innovations in Tibetan medicine and training practices for medicine compounding. Her doctoral work detailed the entrainment process for learning Tibetan medical diagnostics of Tibetan medical conceptions of cancer and related metabolic disorders. She is currently the Science Lead for Field Study of the Physiology of Meditation Practitioners and the Tukdam Meditative State (FMed/Tukdam Study) and serves as Principal Investigator for both the North American COVID-19 Tibetan Medical Observational Study (NACTMOS) and the Examining Individual Differences in Contemplative Practice Response Project (ExamID-Biome). Her published works focus on diagnostic/treatment paradigms, pharmacological synergies, and cultural practices for wellbeing and resilience. They take Grottan hostage while Tawni negotiates with the Empire for her planet to remain independent. But Vice Admiral Rampart has a different plan. With the loyal former Bad Batch member Crosshair cleared for active duty after being rescued from Kamino, Rampart teams him up with Commander Cody to establish Imperial rule on Desix. On the planet Crosshair and Cody make their way battling through all types of droids from battle droids and Droidekas to commando droids and a tactical leader. They find Governor Grottan and Cody convinces Tawni Ames to release him and negotiate terms but Grottan orders them to kill the leader. Commander Cody hesitates but all good clones follow orders and Crosshair puts her down. Back at the Republic military base Cody questions Crosshair on whether they are doing the right thing. Is the Republic bringing safety and security to the galaxy? The next day Vice Admiral Rampart assigns Crosshair to a new mission. It seems that Commander Cody has gone AWOL during the night like an increasing number of troops following Order 66. As a result, she had no language to explain what she was feeling; she only knew that if she expressed it to her family and friends, things would not go well. Tawni ended up suppressing her true identity so ferociously that she didn't even begin addressing it until she was in her fifties...at which point she had been in a hetero-presenting marriage for over twenty years. Tawni explains how her need to see herself as female kept intensifying until she finally had to face it head on, and shares what that meant for her marriage, her job, and more.
