Tony Viera hails from San Jose, California. His connection with Volkswagens started at an early age working at a speed shop (Goodies speed shop) and thinking they were cool. He built a Manx he saw those cars being so cool. He opened up a business by the name of Meg's house. After a few years moved on and partnered in a company called Bugformance and Sunnyvale, California. His history starts in the 60, late 70s with Volkswagens. Being an exclusive Manx dealer for a few years as well as the "thunder bug" buggy. He dabbled and off-road racing in the early days. Even racing at the old Stardust raceway here in Las Vegas in 1968. He's got a lot of great stories from the early days of, the dune buggy craze Volkswagens and customizing those cars which eventually evolved into more than this. It's a great story with lots of history.  www.letstalkdubs.com www.vwtrendsmagazine.com www.rosswulf.com

This is my personal Statement to the Flagship Toleka since we are beyond Looking at the Galactic Federations Higher Council for now due to suspicious reasoning.. We need you All on Toleka and on The mothership Vierra to show yourselves, Like your true selves, I know it may seem like religion still has a strong hold on us , but personally I feel like it is a facade people of earth put on hoping there is an extension that comes with the life after death policy, and yes I mean Heaven..People of earth have misused the bible for decades and so many misdeeds have been brought to light and even by a pope itself. That alone plus the history before america with the higher churches should be enough to step in and violate the Cabal. I know you all on Toleka and the companions of toleka are Not afraid to move forward with direct plans to Show force of power in helping us humans on earth ! I believe if and when you do decide to break a serious rule of the High Council, only then will you see who your real enemies are outside of the Van allen bands with you, because im sure they will attempt to stop you but everyone won't be against your Command. Some will agree and thats how you pick your bad apples Alenym, because all this time bein given a complete run around says one of two things, Someone in the high council has a relative trapped here or A relative working for the cabal. Time to take charge , the world can be like kids sometimes ..dont worry ,they do certain things they know they can get away with, so once we see a potential positive position take over the cabal inside and out of this planet , I know the world will become positive and peaceful Like the one all light beings imagine... On this episode Ariel is joined by Eileen Vierra to talk about memory books and how they can keep alive the memory of somebody you love who has passed or keep memories alive for those with dementia. KEY TAKEAWAYS It's important to tell stories, but it's also important to write them down. When my grandmother had dementia I created a 7x'' book for her reminding her who people were. People with dementia remember really old memories, not current ones which is fascinating because you think that memories fade when you get old. The sense of smell in the brain is close to the memory centre in the brain. That's why, if you walk into a place & you smell cookies, it can take you back in time to when you were a little kid, or when you smell someone's perfume & it reminds you of your grandmother. Celebration of Life books are important for a couple of different reasons: They give you a place to go to relive somebody who's special in your life that has passed. Sometimes photos drive the book and other times text drives the book. You can also do them for pets. You can also put generational information in the book about who the person was, who their parents were, where they were born, names, dates, family information & history. Not only do you then have that information but so does your whole family, especially if you make copies of it and share it with them. It tells the story of their life, their businesses and how they changed over time. BEST MOMENTS “Looking at scrapbooks and memory books illicits memories from the past.” “Photos take you back in time, they're like tickets to the past.” “The process of making the books can be really therapeutic for people.” “Nostalgia is good for people's psychology & their social wellbeing.”   ABOUT THE GUEST Eileen Vierra has worked in many different industries, from banking to teaching, & even as a tour guide for T-Mobile Park & the Seattle Mariners. But, through her life, one thing has remained constant: Scrapbooking. She loves creating things that tell a story, that can be held & felt, that are cherished for years to come. Eileen then learned about Creative Memories where she could create scrapbooks for others. She quickly realized that her business was going to beyond selling products, she wanted to see how to do it for themselves. So, she set up Saturday Workshops for them & later ‘Coffee Crops' daytime workshops & more recently, Weekend Scrapbooking Retreats. Eileen considers herself an educator, a scrapbooker, & a facilitator who doesn't just provide the supplies but shows people how to use them. Website ABOUT THE HOST Ariel is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, Empath and Psychic who has been involved in holistic healing since 1988. In this week's episode, I sit down with the supple leopard, Steve Vierra. I first met Steve almost 10 years ago, where we both worked at the Oakland Police Dept. Steve is exactly 50.7 years old, but he looks and moves like a 25 year old. Steve is a huge health nut, a former bodybuilder, movement specialist, and health expert, and has so much wisdom to offer, I figured it was time to have him on the show.As a police officer, Steve is expected to be a ‘tactical athlete,” but as we all know, many police officers fall victims to early retirements, due to stress, herniated discs, heart attacks, cancer, etc. One of the things that I think has made Steve age so gracefully and avoid all these common pitfalls seen by most officers is his mindset. Police work is such a negative profession, that only sees the worst in people, and is completely thankless. It's easy to become jaded and hardened. Not Steve. He always finds the good in something and looks for the opportunity where others aren't.Steve also makes his body his top priority. Steve expresses this thru movement and has taken many courses and many certifications to learn more about the way the body is supposed to move. After a short career in bodybuilding, and tearing his quad, and seeing numerous doctors, Steve talks about this journey thru health and how he never was satisfied with one person's opinion because “he knew his body” better than any doctor. Steve talks a lot about how awareness is the key to getting over most injuries, but most people lack that completely. Steve also shares his supplements and daily routines, especially important for first responders that get little to no sleep and work shift work. He's an avid biohacker, and regularly intermittent fasts, throws and carries kegs for muscle building, does cold plunges and infrared sauna, and much more. If you're looking to optimize your health, there's a lot you can look from Steve's philosophy and approach. Player FM - Internet Radio Done Right

Eileen Vierra - The Power of Memories

On this episode Ariel is joined by Eileen Vierra, founder and chief creation officer of her company Memory Books By Eileen. She is a professional memory book maker as well as sells memory book supplies and hosts workshops and classes for people who want to create their own scrapbooks and photobooks. She’s been working on her own albums for over 40 years and has been in this industry professionally for 20 years. KEY TAKEAWAYS Scrapbooking isn’t just gluing pictures into a book, there are digital scrapbooks and even hybrid ones. We can even do workshops over Zoom, not just in person. One of the things that people said in 2020 was that they were so thrilled being able to get together every week to do this over Zoom while they couldn’t go out and see each other during the lockdowns. Anything creative is therapeutic, it works the right side of your brain, it relaxes you, but reliving your memories is especially therapeutic. I find, especially, that after someone has passed and I make a book for them it helps me process my emotions while I’m making the book. Then I have something I go to to visit that person. My top tip to preserve our memories: Organize your pictures in one place like your phone or computer, but especially on a cloud system – Forever is a good platform as, unlike iCloud, is allows others to access them if you want them to and they can order prints and canvasses and they guarantee the images will be safe up to 100 years after your death. BEST MOMENTS “Not only do we get to relive and enjoy our memories, we get to share them with each other.” “Our books don’t contain lignin or acids that degrade the pages over time, and we sell protective covers and edges, so the pages don’t get damaged.” “People have contacted me to say how thrilled they are to get these books, so much so that they’ve invited other people over to see them.” ABOUT THE GUEST Eileen Vierra has worked in many different industries, from banking to teaching, and even as a tour guide for T-Mobile Park and the Seattle Mariners. But, through her life, one thing has remained constant: Scrapbooking. She loves creating things that tell a story, that can be held and felt, that are cherished for years to come. Eileen then learned about Creative Memories where she could create scrapbooks for others. She quickly realized that her business was going to beyond selling products, she wanted to see how to do it for themselves. So, she set up Saturday Workshops for them and later ‘Coffee Crops’ daytime workshops and more recently, Weekend Scrapbooking Retreats. Eileen considers herself an educator, a scrapbooker, and a facilitator who doesn’t just provide the supplies but shows people how to use them. Good People on Masculinity and Vulnerability

Today we dive into the topic of masculinity. And let me just start by saying there's no possible way to cover all-things-masculinity in one episode… but we tried… and we thank you for bearing with us as we cover just the tip of the iceberg! And p.s. if you didn't believe me before that these are raw and unedited conversations, this episode will prove to you that they really are. Dr. Vierra, an expert in masculinity, and I chat about the old model of masculinity, how men have been trained to avoid their emotional world, gender roles, having empathy, being vulnerable, and so much more. Hanalei shares how important redirecting men from their head to their hearts is, but how difficult it can be too. He explains how the need to be superior and the lack of compassion feeds into oppression and the issues of racism, homophobia, and misogyny. I then have a conversation with Brandon who shares what masculinity means to him and how his life experiences have shaped his masculinity. We explore what it means to “be a man” and how society has labelled certain activities, professions, and character traits - AND how it all changes over time. As people are becoming more individualistic, maybe so are our gender roles. Some favorite quotes from the show: “Without vulnerability there is no compassion… there is no empathy. Collaboration and connection come from vulnerability.” “Judgments push people away, but feelings are vulnerable and encourage connection.” “Healthy masculinity is having the courage to understand your emotional world more so you can mature into this healthy adult version of yourself. You still feel all of your feelings, but not at anyone else's expense.” “You have to lean into your darkness so that you can move forward and so that it won't have a shadow over your life.” “Being needy ain't sexy at all. But having a need and being needy are completely different.” “I noticed as I got older that I had a lot of untrained masculine traits.” “I think it's so easy to tie masculinity and femininity to our sex and our gender, but they're really just two different energies.” “The more I understood myself, the more confident I became.” “When we work on ourselves, we lift others higher.” If you want to purchase Dr. Hanalei Vierra's book, The True Heart of A Man, you can do so here: http://hanaleivierra.com/.
