Listeners of Never Stop Peaking - Motivation for Your Creative Maniac Mind that love the show mention:This is the last podcast, and it's about the hokey pokey and you. I will be disappearing for a while to join my team over at Rage Create to bring more affirmation and oracle decks to life with you. I deeply appreciate your support in spreading these positivity snacks around the world with us. Sweet-Ass Affirmations 2 is now available on Amazon, Etsy, and RageCreate.com. Will you share them with 1 person you know today and help spread the good vibes? Don't listen at all I am not in a position to give you advice. However, I want to offer encouragement to unleash the wild, exploratory creator within you. What if you rip off all of your layers and run looney through the woods? What if you do the opposite of everything they tell you that you should? Play where the fishies fly high above the trees. Swim where the birdies dive deep below the seas. Lose yourself in the moments with foreign foods, and dudes?? and boobs??!…and try on love of all shapes, sizes, and colors too. Play Duck Duck Moose while you shake your caboose. Eat your salad with a spoon and go howl at the moooooooooon. Break the rules but first break the rulers. And don't just think outside the box, be the box remover. Say I love you more. Surrender to love too. Forgive everyone for everything, starting with you. Slow down and enjoy something beautiful here. Slow down and enjoy that beautiful something in the mirror. Seek the laughs and loves. Honor truth over doubt. Inhale the white light and blow the boogie monsters out. When you become the sun, you bypass the clouds. When you flow like the ocean, you wash out the drought. Stop trying so fucking hard to figure it out, because what if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about? Creative Maniac Quote & Idea for You “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ― Marianne Williamson Shut everything off, put your bare feet and bottom on the Earth, and just sit for 5 minutes and breathe. What feels good and light in your life? Focus on them. Thank you for being a part of Never Stop Peaking. It has been my pleasure, -Heath @heathfistpumps HeathArmstrong.com
Quick Link: HeathArmstrong.com/tickle-monster-effect Have you ever laughed so hard that you accidentally ripped a monster fart in front of other people… and then laughed even harder because of the sheer awkwardness of the situation? What about laughing so hard that you gushed some pee through your undies and pants? Remember that feeling of wild, uncontrollable joy? The tickle monster is an angel of abundance Uncontrollable laughter actually raises your vibrational state. It removes the space between you and your happiness. It feels good. Laughter is an emotional manifestation of abundance, just like tears of joy, gratitude, orgasms, and love. The tickle monster is an angel of abundance. When was the last time you laughed hard enough to pee your pants? When was the last time you helped someone else rediscover their giggles? Peeing your pants is cool Gremlins want you to pee your pants out of fear (not cool). They don't want you to know the power of peeing your pants through joy and laughter (super cool). They want you to react and have meltdowns. They want you to be the victim. You are not the victim. You are a kickass starlight fairy giggling symphonies of love and abundance throughout the galaxy. No matter how hard it gets or how much pain you feel— you are fundamentally a child of love and light. You deserve laughter, joy, and fuzzy love. When all feels dark, what if you respond with peace and ease instead of reacting by feeding chaos and disease? It's not about your beauty and bullshit Life isn't about what ‘happens' to you. It's not about the beauty that happens to you, and it's certainly not about the bullshit that happens to you. Life is about how you choose to respond (not react) when it happens. A response is rooted in awareness. It supports growth toward the highest version of yourself. A reaction is an ignorant trigger that usually just feeds ongoing negativity. What if you respond to the hard stuff in life in ways that support elevated health, happiness, and play? What if every time you feel shitty or off you simply respond with ways that make you feel good? Oh baby it feels sooo good A few powerful and abundantly available ways to feel truly great are: Sweating, real food, sunlight, forest bathing, saltwater, hot/cold baths and plunges, sex, flowers, drinking clean water, earthing, meditation, good sleep, fasting, playing, creating, exercising, dancing, meeting new friends, and laughing. Be a contagious fireball of laughter You have the power to pull yourself out of any funk by leading yourself into a self-contagious laugh. (see idea below) When you start laughing more, the light-hearted energy transfers to those around you and increases the beauty of their moods, too. Each day, if you can make one person smile— or laugh so hard that they tinkle in their undies— your day is not wasted. Creative maniac quote & idea for you “Totalitarian systems are notably devoid of humor at every level. Laughter, which brings acceptance and freedom, is a threat to their rule through force and intimidation. It is hard to oppress people who have a good sense of humor. Beware the humorless, whether in a person, institution, or belief system; it is always accompanied by an impulse to control and dominate, even if its proclaimed objective is to create prosperity or peace.” -David Hawkins, Power vs. Force Today, stand up with your hands on your hips and force yourself to start laughing. It will feel awkward because maybe you don't feel happy and nothing seems funny. However, the obnoxious fake laugh will domino into a rampage of contagious real laughs. You won't be able to stop. It is hilarious. Do it. Keep doing it. Do it until you accidentally fart and someone else hears it. Laughing is how we save the world. Outside of our Earth's own volcanos, quakes, tornados, tsunamis, wars, wildfires, hurricanes, and Walmarts, there are other forces of mass destruction lurking on much larger scales within the Universe. Asteroids and meteoroids whiz by our planet every year at alarmingly close distances, including the 2012 TC4 that missed by only 27,000 miles (about one-eighth the distance from Earth to the moon.) The Tunguska event in 1908 is the largest impact event in modern history, completely decimating over 830 square miles of forest in rural Russia. In 2013, the Chelyabinsk meteor entered Earth's atmosphere, creating a large shock wave equivalent to 33 times the energetic force of the atomic bomb detonated at Hiroshima. Wowzers. Don't squeeze your butt-cheeks and get all sweaty yet. I've got good news. Are you pretending to be happy? How does this question make you feel? View this post on HeathArmstrong.com There is great danger when you value “appearing to be” over “being” “Appearing to be” is pretending to be something you are not, usually at the expense of yourself and the benefit of someone else. “Being” is honoring the truth within you no matter how messy it may be. Here are some examples: Doing what you “should” (appearing to be) vs. Doing what truly lights you up (being) Hiding behind your smile (appearing to be) vs. Smiling while you cry because you are sharing your truth and it feels relieving (being) Sharing filtered pictures to enhance your features or correct your blemishes (appearing to be) vs. Sharing your raw, natural beauty and helping others build confidence to do the same (being) Telling your friends that your broken relationship is thriving to avoid shame and judgment (appearing to be) vs. Communicating honestly with your partner, friends, and therapist about your hardships, thus creating opportunity for healing and growth (being) Resisting exercise or meditation because you are “too busy” (appearing to be) vs. Prioritizing self-care practices, thus enhancing all aspects of your life (being) “Appearing to be” is resistance. It feels easy in the moment but destroys you over time. “Being” is the hardest work of all, but it bears eternal fruits. It removes the space between you and your truth. Are you appearing to be, or are you being? Be aware of the gremlins “Appearing to be” is also an elusive trick of mASS media, corrupt politicians, and con-artists. These tricksters are predatory gremlins. Their schemes may sound familiar: “Act the part” even though you don't enjoy it. “Do as you are told” even though you don't want to. “Follow the rules” even though they only benefit someone else. “Be good” even though good and bad are completely subjective. “Behave” or endure shame and punishment… As you strive to live in truth, be aware of the world that “appears to be.” Choose to be a hot mess What if you allow yourself to simply be you? What if you unleash the raw, hot mess of beauty and chaos within you? Choosing to be (rather than appearing to be) sets you free. Exploration keeps you free. Creating removes the trap altogether. Do you really have anything better to do? doodle by @thingsintedshead Creative maniac quote & idea for you “All that you see out in front of you is how you feel inside your head.” – Alan Watts With this breath, you have an opportunity to invite more flowers, laughter, and love into your head and out into the world. Take a moment to write down 3 ways you haven't been entirely truthful to yourself and those around you. How will you make changes to start “being” rather than “appearing to be” in each of these 3 ways? Don't hesitate to make the necessary changes. Start now. Your future self is already twerking in celebration.

Links from the show: Share Link: HeathArmstrong.com/41 Never Stop Peaking Minimalism Episode Sweet-Ass Affirmations Deck In this episode: Stacking Cash and "Things" Never Creates Long-term Happiness As media and marketing flood our brains with the idea that success is defined by how much we earn, many of us rate our happiness based on the materialistic belongings and cheddar-cheese we stack up. As soon as we receive something, we immediately start craving more. Why are we rarely content with what we already have? Having a desire for more is a great characteristic when it comes to creativity and developing the self, but it can be a terrible characteristic in relation to stacking cheddar cheese and possessions if our money and materials aren't in alignment with our purpose or hero's journey. If receiving and collecting isn't the answer to happiness, then what is? Giving and being of service. A Habit of Giving Creates Warm Fuzzy Feelings Forever When you give something to another person, whether material or in service, a physiological response happens within you. That warm fuzzy feeling you had as a free-range child running barefoot through the wild comes back and helps you make sexy-time with your happiness muscles. When giving without motive, your brain releases pleasure endorphins, including oxytocin, which is also released during sex and lowers your stress. Oxytocin makes you feel more connected to others, which is why people often pay forward random acts of kindness. Giving is a domino cycle of warm fuzzy feelings that increases the collective bond of the world. Ideas for Giving Gifts and Being of Service In this episode, I share a few stories of my transformation through gift-giving, as well as a bunch of ideas on how you can give gifts and be of service today, without expectation or motive. The Universe will always give you what you put into it, so don't think so much about what you are losing. Think about all the peace, serenity, creativity, and love you will be gaining.

I also share some scandalous stories that will surely either make you laugh or offend you greatly. Why is Minimalism so Important? When you have less stuff, you have fewer distractions. When you have fewer distractions, you awaken your awareness. When you are more aware, you pay attention to areas of life that matter the most, like forming stronger relationships and engaging in higher levels of creativity. As you form stronger relationships and expand your creativity, you continuously open up new doors that lead directly to clarity, purpose, and meaning in life. When you live your life with clear intent, you'll discover that the pursuit of happiness you dream of is not only possible, it's absolute. In this episode, Lecia and I freely explore the collision of our journeys, the magic universal wand always at play to guide you, Pythagorean numerology, the process of transitioning through deep relationships, plant medicine healing journeys, higher self habits, the intimacy of intuition, self-forgiveness, unconditional love and more. Her Other Book Mentioned: The Book of Beasties Sarah's Website: FollowYourFeelGood.com Help me out and leave an iTunes review! How Good Are You Willing to Let it Get? No matter what type of fear, procrastination, or resistance gremlins enter your life, there is always one thing you can control that will stop their invasion: your energy. Will you allow these negative forces to drain and taint your energy, or will you take control of your energy and use it to learn, reflect, and move closer to your visions? Over many years, I have intermittently struggled with allowing myself to feel my happiest because of some sort of external factor that was bothering me. Sometimes this shows up in the form of depression, full-body inflammation, or a lack of self-worth and often leads to a downward spiral. Because of the negative experiences, I sometimes created imaginary limitations for myself in an attempt to establish protection from more bad experiences moving forward. I was removing parts of my life that brought me happiness and love because I was scared that something might go wrong and make me unhappy. I was settling for a middle ground of simply existing rather than experiencing. Does this seem familiar? You see, the security blanket is actually the problem in itself. We hold ourselves back from our dreams because we are afraid we will fall on our face. In other words, we aren’t allowing ourselves to reach our heightened states of mind, body, and spirit. We aren’t willing to let allow ourselves to blossom into the flowers we can be. We are sacrificing our lives to fear. So, How Good Are You Willing to Let it Get? What happens if you let love in? What happens if you say yes to everything that excites you? What happens if you trust in your intuition? What happens if you release your fears and doubts? How will things change if you surrender, let go, and become one with your passions? “it is a mess out there, but sit up tall, smile, and laugh. that’s your work.” I first heard Sarah Seidelmann talk on a podcast she did with a mentor of mine, Jared Angaza, on "the wisdom of the wild things,” and I was immediately catapulted into a stronger, happier mindset. She’s one of those rare people that can change the way you look at life in its entirety with just a few words. Sarah spent two decades practising medicine, specializing in surgical pathology, and raising her family. But something started shifting in her, drawing her into an exploration of deeper creativity, nature and intuition. She wanted to figure out what would make her FEEL GOOD all the time, and how she could apply her experiences to help others do the same. So, she took a six-month sabbatical from her job and started exploring. Well, when you follow your bliss, magical things start to happen. Sarah followed hers through shamanic journeying, animal totems, and an interesting meeting with one of her spirit guides, Alice the Elephant. To date, Sarah and Alice have co-authored multiple books, including their newest release, How Good Are You Willing to Let It Get? Daily FEELGOOD Inspiration for Creatives, Healers, and Helpers. (Secret**: She has a card deck coming soon too!) I’m ecstatic to have Sarah on this episode of Never Stop Peaking, as we explore universal synchronicity, spirit-animal guides, the magic of nature, shamanic journeying, life transportations, the creative process, and more.

He recently started a small youtube channel that is converting really well, and I wanted to bring him on to the Never Stop Peaking show to discuss his experience of getting started on youtube. I feel there is tremendous value in the raw process from the ground up, and that is what Mat and I discuss in this episode.
Shownotes: www.heatharmstrong.com/32 Enter the Giveaway: www.heatharmstrong.com/giveaway I had the chance to explore Bulgaria with Mitko and Ian of Life Nomading late last year, and I’ve never been so hot and bothered in my life. Fortunately for him, he has a foxy American soon-to-be wife who set clear boundaries, not allowing me to infiltrate. Nonetheless, because of my comfort level with Mitko, we are always able to have real, no-bullshit conversations about deep topics and meaningful causes. This episode is no different, as we dive into hyper-sensitive topics such as the covid-19 pandemic, sex-trafficking, human slavery, and living as a Strag. We also explore the future of remote work as an alternative to the traditional corporate office life, and the importance of having a creative or direction.
This episode is an exploration of how Caitlin and I met, Caitlin’s journey through unexpected diagnosis and healing, and our creative alliance to bring these journaling practices to the world. We also explore the idea of shifting the world away from judgment, disconnection, and criticism, and into self-love, community, and connection. No matter what life presents you with, it’s important to find gratitude in the process and use the experience as motivation and fuel to keep moving forward and creating. Kilimanjaro If you are interested in climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, my friend Scott Brills runs a remarkable guide company, Pamoja Safaris. I can 200% vouch that my experience with his crew was heads and shoulders above all the other crews and groups that I witnessed on the mountain. I felt like I was with my second family, and the equipment, cost, culture, experience, and care was unmatched. Even if you are unsure of your ability to climb, especially at high altitudes, I’m confident his guides will get you to the summit with care. I’d be happy to answer any questions about the climb if you are interested in going. Feel free to comment on this post or hit me up on social or email. ---- The Maniac Wearing Shorts and Sandals on Kilimanjaro Last December, I went back to Africa to revisit the school in Uganda that I had bonded with in 2017. While I was out there, I also pursued climbing Africa’s highest peak in Tanzania, Mt. Kilimanjaro, due to my love for the serene feeling above the clouds. I’m a firm believer that through exploring and experience in places unknown to you, you will connect with the magic in life that you’ve been missing. Oftentimes, this type of magic comes in the form of human connection, just as it did when I met Ravi Rothenberg a few a days before the trek started. Just a few sunrises into the climb, my perception of Ravi started shifting drastically. When you see a man wearing shorts and sandals in a rainstorm on the side of a freezing mountain, while everyone else is in full rain gear and base layers, you know you’ve got a true warrior on your hands. Although I’m a huge advocate of cold water therapy, breathwork, and other biohacking practices to help boost the mitochondria and immunity in the body, even I was a little concerned due to conditions and altitude. While most of us were trying to change into dry clothes and bundle up at camp, Ravi was out doing pushups and yoga in his undies, overlooking the edges of cliffs like a Greek God. And, who’s to say he’s not? After all, he was the only one who summited the climb without using altitude sickness medicine. Getting to know Ravi was truly one of the highlights of my trip. Our conversations had no limit in-depth, and I sensed the wisdom of a character of who was truly dialed into something greater than the individual self. When talking to Ravi, I often feel a bit sedated and much more eager to listen and learn than normal, which is why I am truly excited to share this podcast episode with you. In this episode, Baba Ravi and I catch up for the first time in a while, bouncing in and out of topics such Ravi’s journey, listening to your calling, identifying universal signs of flow, tapping into flow, levels of attachment in relationships, contemplating death, the “first-labeling” thought, and the importance of faith. Ravi also runs yoga, breathwork, and mind/body connection retreats, so hit him up if you are interested in getting in touch with your deeper purpose in life.

It was easy to wake and sleep with the rise and set of the Sun, and we didn’t have electronic lights or electromagnetic frequencies impacting our circadian rhythms. With the mass onset of computers, televisions, global internet, and the big electronic grid that we now live in, we started breaking our natural cycles and instead, we started operating in patterns that weren’t in alignment with nature itself. This shift in patterning has impacted the body and the mind, and although many incredible technological advances have helped save lives, cure diseases, and create long-term sustainable health opportunities, there has been deep negative side as well. Inflammation, depression, fatigue, pain, leaky-gut, and dietary issues can all be related to a lack of living within and understanding the environments that allow us to thrive. Biohacking and Epigenetics David Krantz is an Epigenetic Health Coach and an expert in Nutrigenetics, Epigenetics, Nutrigenomics, and Biohacking. He helps people analyze their DNA and genetics to optimize the perfect diet, sleep patterns, and immunity building practices in life. By doing so, not only does your creative expression and cognitive performance accelerate, but genetic healing can occur and change the way you experience life for the best. In this episode, we dissect all of these topics and more. We also break down tips for biohacking, including topics revolving around circadian rhythm, blue light exposure, intermittent fasting, Omega 3 to Omega 6 ratio, toxins, meditation, heart rate variability, HIT exercises, cold exposure, earthing, and morning routines. What is the root of your deepest trauma? What blockages are you holding physically and mentally that are preventing you from stepping into the next happiest, healthiest version of yourself? What kind of pains, experiences, and memories are you ready to let go of? We all have our ups and downs, but how are YOU reacting to yours? What are they attached to? How are they affecting your relationships, your daily routines, and the passion within your pursuits? For many years, I stuffed things away into the back of my mind hoping they would just disappear. On many different occasions, they boiled up into black-out rampages and deep pools of depression. I had no idea how to overcome these things that were crippling me. In reality, I didn’t even know what most of them were. We all experience suffering on a certain level, and no matter what level it is, it’s the hardest thing in the world for an individual when it hits. My experiences with Ayahuasca and other types of Plant Medicine have been discussed before on this podcast. I am in awe with the love that these medicines represent as well as the deep healing wisdom of their teachings. When I was contacted by the crew behind the Documentary, From Shock to Awe, to potentially do a podcast, I was overcome with excitement and curiosity. “There is really good news on this planet from the ground up, and not from the top down” - Dr. Janine Sagert The general question being explored within From Shock to Awe is "How do we heal our deepest traumas and wounds?" Can this type of healing be facilitated through natural plant medicines and sacred journeys? Can these medicines help break up, re-pattern, and transform the deepest wounds that exist throughout this complex thing we call humanity? PTSD, suicide, and chronic depression are some of the more notable issues that trauma can instigate. Within the film, these topics and questions are dissected throughout the exploratory and transformative journeys of a few deeply traumatized combat Veterans, as well as their loving and supportive, yet affected, families. According to Wikipedia, the most recent report published by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in 2016 analyzed that an average of 20 veterans a day die from suicide. The current support system in place isn’t working, and changes must be made. Can plant medicines help save lives? Executive Producer Dr. Janine Sagert joins me on this episode for a cosmic exploration into the powerful transformations of Veterans Matt Kahl, Aimee Kahl, and Mike Cooley. We are also joined by Olivia Broughton, a very special guest who has extensive experience with plant medicine ceremonies and authentic relating within the prison system to heal trauma. On top of the film discussion, we break down the root causes behind our broken community support systems and open up the discussion for how a massive planetary shift has to start within each individual first. To date, From Shock to Awe has won the “Mangurama Award for Conscious Documentary Storytelling” at the Illuminate Film Festival and “Best Documentary” at the Psychedelic Film and Music Festival. And it has received positive reviews from critics, experts, and audiences alike. An Overview of the Veterans and Family Members Discussed in From Shock to Awe Matt Kahl Matt Kahl served in the 101st Airborne Division from 2007-2011. When an ambush blew up one of the convoys he was traveling with, instantly killing the driver and seriously injuring the others passengers, Matt’s life changed. After struggling with severe post-traumatic stress, his mission since has been to get off prescription medications entirely, first with the help of cannabis and, eventually, ayahuasca. His healing through Ayahuasca was so profound that Matt went on to found Veterans for Natural Rights. VNR is a social welfare and political action organization with deep roots in the veteran population, specializing in helping those with PTSD and other Mental/Behavior health issues related to Trauma regain their lives, their purpose, and their sense of community. Aimee Kahl In 2007, Matt and Aimee were married, and in 2008 he had deployed to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division. In 2009, Aimee noticed Matt detaching and withdrawing. Matt chose his next step on his healing journey: ayahuasca. “I was scared and felt helpless, but at the same time determined not to stand in his way, noting that, “Everything he tried previously…all conventional meds, conventional therapy, made it worse.” More than anything, she was continually amazed at the bravery of he and his fellow vets. “They’re brave when they go to war and they’re brave now trying to get better. I admire it very much. “I want to get better with them because I realize through all of this, I’m not OK.” Mike Cooley Cooley was deployed three times — once to Afghanistan and twice to Iraq — but it wasn’t until he returned home in January of 2009 and found himself suddenly losing his temper with his young stepdaughter that he knew something was deeply wrong. “Ayahuasca is the doorway that’s open to me, and I can accept this doorway, and it can bring peace and healing.” Brooke Cooley Brooke Cooley met her husband, Mike, in December of 2007 while working at the 148th MP detachment in HR. After seeing the positive changes that cannabis had on her husband, they embraced the use of cannabis as a medicine, as “an alternative to the pharmaceuticals we were being handed by the hundreds,” says Brooke. “It worked; it worked very well for both of us. Shownotes: www.heatharmstrong.com/27 Liz Sampey is the women’s record holder for the fastest time in the AZT 750 race, the world’s largest single-track bike race. I met her in Indonesia in November of 2018, and she left a permanent inspirational impression on me thereafter. I spent a few hours over breakfast with a dropped jaw, listening to her story which navigated a path from self uncertainty, toxic relationships, and depression to celebrated endurance athlete and holistic performance coach. A year later, we are finally re-connecting to bring the power of her story to the podcast. From ultra racing, spiritual rebirth, and contemplating death to a complete mental and physical breakdown at 2:00am alone while crossing a river in the Grand Canyon during a 750 miles race (watch the video of her breakdown) this conversation is exploding with goodness. We also dissect the power of not only visualizing your dreams but feeling them during the manifestation process. Clearly, Liz never stops peaking. But, what kind of trauma and shadow did she have to work through to create the foundation that supports all the strength she now has? If we are not meant to experience absolute miracles in life, then why does the miracle of life exist? If dreams are not real, and we are not destined to become one with them, then why are the visions within us? Why is the source part of us? What makes dreams any less real than our physical bodies? What makes dreams any less significant than our current situation or state of consciousness? In this episode, I explore these questions and many more... In the opinion of the beautiful brain sheltered within my skull, travel is the most magical and effective form of education. The experience of differing worlds, the virgin interactions with culture, and the pure disconnection from our routine lives are all packed with infinite wisdom, humility, growth and opportunity. There is simply nothing that gets me high like world travel. I had the honor of meeting Ian Hoyt while on one of his Life Nomading trips in Bulgaria a few weeks ago. Ian started this travel resource as a blog many years ago, in the heat of dropping out of college to pursue his higher calling. From slinging aviation t-shirts and flying airplanes to building charging cubes for electronic devices in a creepy basement, Ian took several risky leaps toward entrepreneurship and following his muse before hitting his rock bottom fetal position attack from resistance. In this episode, Ian and I dissect his journey from anxiety and resistance to creating transformational travel experiences with Life Nomading. We both whole-heartedly value efforts to help facilitate the exploration of personal growth through experience, and this episode takes a deep dive into why it’s so important to break out of your comfort box and create the life you love.
