How To Say No And Still Be Happy

No is a full sentence you don't have to add no because, no and, no but, if you want to add anything after no then you can add ‘no I can't'.  If you are anything like me, you have trouble saying no to people, and somehow they have control over your schedule, stress level and happiness. Not only to bad things, many times you will have to say no to the good things as well. It's actually easy to say no to bad things, for example ‘say no to drugs', sure! ‘Say no to drink and drive', absolutely, coz I don't drive. However it's hard to say no to good, but saying yes to good might be preventing you from doing great. If you have a problem saying no and have some boundary issues then today's episode is for you. Please don't say no.https://www.drcloud.com/books/boundariesBoundaries are a guard against your heart, coz when you don't set boundaries not only will you get hurt, you will feel resentful, Grudgy, guilty, which is against your heart's will. You wanna feel cheerful, free, joyful and grateful. That's why you gotta guard your heart and set some boundaries. One shortcut to find out if you are setting proper boundaries or not, would be to check if you feel resentful or cheerful after doing something or saying no.Boundaries, When to say yes, how to say no, to take control of your life by Dr. Henry Cloud. I have been listening to this audiobook for quite a while, and meaning to create an episode on it. As  I have noticed, ever since we starting this podcast, a little over a year ago, the deeper and personal the topic is, I have a hard time completing it. You know the dark closet of your psyche where there are many traumas and emotions buried and you don't wanna open it, for it may all fall over you and they will bury you. If not buried then you will have to deal with them. One by One. And you know it IS gonna be a mess. An emotional and psychological mess. As you go deeper, you realize there's more mess, the only thing you wanna do is run away and/or good old procrastinate. There you go, right out of bait that's one reason why you procrastinate, coz it's too personal.

We are fighting with this invisible and lethal enemy, Covid-19. We feel extremely helpless. We are losing a lot of people, a lot of loved ones. I would like to take this moment to acknowledge the fact that the situation is hard. I address these with friends, with you in the podcast and social media, that it's hard and we are doing our best to stay productive, do what we need to do for ourselves and our families. At the same time, I would like to acknowledge the fact that the lockdown fatigue, the isolation fatigue is real too.  If you are feeling unmotivated to create, do your work or do what's necessary then it's absolutely okay. The energy of the whole world is down. This is a global pandemic, a global event that causes everyone around the world to slow down, take time,  get  help, take care of loved ones and stay connected even if it's only virtually. Talking about staying connected, while we try to stay connected on different websites, social media and other digital mediums there's always this chance of  hacking and attacking. Every other day, I hear from friends and on social media, that their accounts are being hacked, websites being attacked, people are getting scammed on emails. In today's episode we are talking with a security engineer and a dear friend, on digital well-being and cybersecurity. How you can stay safe in the digital and cyber space. In other words today we're talking about digital sanitization and social distancing.

Why is it so important to make decision and move forward?

Play Episode Listen Later Jun 15, 2021 23:24

Decision making is hard and scary but there's something harder and scarier than that, that is being stuck. To avoid decision-making sometimes we tend to take shortcuts like Astrology, horoscope, tarot card reading etc.  The whole business of fortune-telling is growing and the fact that it's there is  because we don't want to spend time on decision-making. We want somebody else to make decisions for ourselves, which is sometimes not best for us. That's why it's really important for you to make decisions for yourself. It does 2 things, One it saves time, instead of going into multiple astrologers, different people to discuss your problems, it saves your time. Of course you need to take some advice from some experts, for someone you look up to, you need information but then if you make your own decision it will save you time. Two, there's a  saying that it's better to make a wrong decision then, no decision. because  any decision will move you forward. It's better making a wrong decision than being stuck. Decision Making  is hard in and of itself but then there are some other elements that makes it even harder one of them being commitment decision-making is also a commitment, if I commit to one thing then what will happen to 99 other things. FOMO right? but then do you know what's more scarier than Fomo? incompetence the feeling that you are not living the life to the fullest and to avoid the feeling of incompetence you'll have to take decision and take a steps to One Direction.Another thing that does not help to take any kind of a decision as information overflow, in today's world there's so many information all over the place that you do not know where to look and to find right information, to make a right decision and if you fail to check your sources, then there's this risk of taking the wrong decision. It's important to make sure, you gather your information from the right sources and check if they  are science backed or not.another thing that's in our way to take a decision Make a decision is confirmation bias because you believe in something and when you see the similar information in the same direction you trust that it.  it's really important to explore some contradictions, and then doubt your own sources. it's actually really the balance between learning more and trusting your own intuition and it only comes from practice. Decision making is like exercise as much as you practice you will develop more trust in your own decision-making process and your intuitions.  Then you will either stick to your decisions. Why is it so important to make decision and move forward? The decision-making process is so tiresome, it is so hard, we don't want to do it, then why can't we just stay the way we are, on our robe all day, doing nothing and we don't have to take any decision and life would be so Rosy and purple, is that so? no, because you have a dream and if you don't work on your dream when you cannot sleep, your dreams won't let you sleep at night. the way Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam said ones, “dream is not what you see in sleep dream are something which wont let you sleep”. we all have those dreams that won't let us sleep and to be able to work on that dreams guess wha? t you will have to take action and then to take action guess what you'll have to do? take the decision and for that you will have to let go of other options

#50: We don't want to become hungry entrepreneurs, hungry artists, hungry creative entrepreneurs, we need money, and need good money. So from Dave Ramsey, I have learned to make money and from Paul Pant, I was already learning how to manage the money. Once I have it, like once I have enough or once I have a lot. God, I'm ready for more money. I know what to do with it, I know how to handle it, just send it to me. The third pillar of building a personal brand is entrepreneurship. There is this metaphor, that I usually use when it comes to entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship as a jumping off the flying airplane. Robert Kiyosaki uses it a lot. I did learn a lot from him. But then there was this fundamental gap in his teaching, where he didn't teach people to do jobs, before getting into business to have some kind of money before getting into business. Whereas he, himself, had a full time job. Later, he was living in his pension, while he was building his business. That's something he doesn't talk about. Doing a day job, doing nine to five I understood the meaning of it, I understood the meaning of cash flow. This is again Robert Kiyosaki term, but then I understand it more from Dave Ramsey teaching. Entrepreneurship is not only when you have opened your store or registered your domain, and started selling, I mean, that's the eventual goal. You cannot call yourself an entrepreneur without selling, but then only selling will not make it sustainable. Study, learn, do some jobs, travel, people connection, read books, they'll  make you're ready to take that jump,I want to skip that metaphor from now on, maybe it's not a jump. It's slow built, with a strong foundation. Slow with connection, with sustainability. The entrepreneurial skill can come handy. Wherever and  whatever you do, you do business, relationship, family, jobs, and anything.

    Why World Needs More Art-Entrepreneurs?

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 6, 2021 20:17

When the pandemic started last year in March 2020, there was this social media post almost like a meme that ranked the most important roles in the world, most essential roles, essential job in the world. And it started from doctors, to nurses, essential workers, and art, theater, or artists, they were not in the list, not on the essential list or even in the list at all, like the role of artists in the society is none existential. . And right at that moment, I realized, like, if there was no art, this very poster wouldn't have existed, right? To create that poster, they needed to create those graphics, pictures of words, all of that was art. So this confusion between art and making that to apply into something important or into business, to making the whole Art entrepreneurship a thing, it's still not a mainstream practice. Whereas in our scriptures, in our tradition, art is always been a means to, to livelihood, the means to create something valuable in the society, be it cooking, painting, theater, music, dance, people have always made their living by doing all these things, but then society has never accepted it as a mainstream. That's why it's always been a part time job or a hobby. Then there is this confusion. On the one hand, society does not accept art as a mainstream career. And on the other hand, they worship at the altar of their favorite artists. I mean, why this hypocrisy, if your children says they want to be a singer, you would want to stop him and then put him into quote unquote, important jobs like doctors, engineers, accountant finance, but then you worship at the altar of your favorite singers, you respect them, you worship them, why this gap? I think this is where the art-entrepreneurship comes and making art, your living will give validity to it, and then you'll be able to practice it more. So my journey with art, my exposure with art started with TV, I would say, while I was growing up, TV was my escape. I had kind of a rough childhood, where we didn't  exactly get what we wanted. But then I accept that my parents did what they could do best,  the scenario was such that they couldn't provide what we wanted. And then on those times, TV was all of our escape. We used to watch the series on English, Hindi Nepali. For Nepali, it was Mina Cartoon, Momin, Ujeli. In Hindi, there was Shakalaka Boom Boom, Sonepari, Small Wonder. Those characters, they build hope in me. They taught me how to dream, books, comics, art, taught me how to dream, how to see the world that's beyond my reality, so that I can do some kind of a journey to get there. So that's what art does, it shows us the world that's not there already. But then it shows that possibility that we can get there. That's the importance of art, and the society, and art-entrepreneures have huge responsibility to take that message and tell the story of our time.

I listened to an episode of Afford Anything Podcast with Paula Pant. I am a huge fan because she explains complicated financial and economical ideas in simple terms so that someone like me, who has less knowledge on finance and economy can understand the complicated system. I listened to an episode with Suze Orman. Where she said she hates the FIRE movement. Suze Orman was a financial advisor, she had her own show on NBC and CNBC she was there for 20 years giving financial advice to the people. While listening to this episode with Paula, I realized Suze Orman is the reason behind everything that is wrong with the US economy. Not only the US economy, but while we were growing up in the 80s and 90s in Nepal, or South Asia anything wrong that we learned about money is because of Suze Orman. This is rather a strong statement, but then Suzi  is not not only a person, it's a mentality that we grew up with. You need to work until you die to be able to support your family. The idea of retirement was only after you got to your sixties and seventies.Paula was arguing in the episode about The  Fire Movement, financial independence and early movement,  and Suzi said she hates it. According to her,  it's against the system, if everyone gets retired early then who will fund the 401K? It can become the reason for the economy to collapse.Fire moment is working hard earning more and spending less and investing the difference. Retiring does not always mean staying at home and doing nothing.  It's more about acquiring financial independence, so that you'll have a certain amount of money coming in, no matter if you work or not. Then you'll be able to spend your time on the things that are important to you. Throughout the show Susie was challenging every idea of it and then was cherry-picking the moments in people's life, where they had issues with their health, natural disasters or  pandemics. According to her, people should work until they are 60 and 70 year old and retiring  early is a bad idea. And she hates it.

Most probably last Valentine's day was the time when we last talked about love. On the podcast, we talk about the brand, Personal Brand, and online business, and On my website The Samuna Kc, we talk about philosophy, entrepreneurship, personal branding, and relationship. I believe these are the four aspects of building a personal brand. So, Today we talk about love. When I thought about talking about love, I sat on my chair, opened my computer, put on my headphone. I didn't have any idea what to exactly talk about. I mean I do have my Notes. I did research. But Why do I wanted to talk about Love? What's there to talk about Love? The Movies we grew up with, the books, the relationships we had and the other's relationship we watched, I learned a lot about love. But, there we many confusion. If this is love, then why is it this way? When there is romance or relationship? And then the light bulb went off! There's a difference between love, romance and relationship. They are actually three different things. they are not the same thing. you could love someone and might not be in relationship. you could be having romance but there may not be love. #S2E21 Where should I even start when it comes to decluttering because I believe I have come a really long way when it comes to organizing. this is not to say I have become an expert on organizing but then now I at least see the difference between the Clutter and declutter and how I feel on both situations. While I was growing up I have seen so much clutter. my mom still have all of our old clothes and then she said she's going to make some kind of a blanket out of it. I heard she actually did make that blanket but we still have some old clothes that she's been holding onto. I still have some hoarding problems, I hold on to a lot of emotional items. right now I can see this souvenir from one of my friend Dagmar, she gave it to me I think on her birthday as a return gift, and I've been holding on to it and taking it around for the past 7 years. Another one that Ashok gave me, it's broken but then I'm still holding on to it. I never use it but then it's all right in front of my eyes all the time. I like to see empty spaces that's how I feel the energy flows.  I like to have a lot of empty spaces, empty walls. we have been in the US for past 5 years and only this September we bought like actual actual kitchenette.  I try to keep it as less stuff as possible because stuff actually do trigger anxiety on me. I'm doing a lot of decluttering and I realize that when I do declutter in one part of my life it relfexs on the other aspect of my life. Marie kondo, the tidying-up goddess she also says something in that direction that when you declutter on the on one aspect of the life it transforms into other aspects of your life as well. I'm already dreaming about spring cleaning. if you are looking forward to do some declutting in the spring let go over some steps and  let's do it together. Marie kondo an organization expert who organizes houses with con Mari Technique suggests, we should keep items that spark joy and anything that does not do that we have to let them go.  wardrobe, books , paper,  emotional and sentimental items. when I let go of my stuff specially my clothes I practice that. I look at it if it sparks joy  on me I keep it, if not ,I say thank you and I let it go. I have noticed  we should have a goal for decluttering  and a goal should not be like how many items we want to have, how many space we want to have, or how many empty spaces I want to have. the goal should be how I want to feel and then take it from there. to be able to feel the desired emotion what things should I keep and what would have to go.

He wasn't into creating a cult, maybe that's why we don't see many people sharing his pictures and quotes on social media. Or, is it because everyone who knew Ramdas kept it to themselves to preserve the essence of it? I have been keeping him from you for a long time, whereas I wanna bring him up in every conversation. They were so confident and full of life and passionate about the work they do, vision-driven, and most of all kind. When I was in my 20s I was nowhere close to it. Sitting in the audience in the awe of these strong women I asked myself, what am I doing with my life? The one reason I started samunakc.com and this podcast is that the exact question. Please find the link below:https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/youbble/youbbleburza?ref=nav_search&result=project&term=Youbble

Podcasting is sort of a lonely journey, compared to other forms of content creation, especially if you don't have a co-host. On the other broadcasting platforms, you can at least see, when people like and comment on your content, you can interact with people on a regular basis. In the podcast, the only data you get is the download numbers. Though it's a relevant metric, I know it's not the real metrics, because not everyone who listens to the podcast downloads it. The only way for me to interact with you is when you leave the ratings and reviews. Or, when you connect with me on social media and share your thoughts with me. Good news is, it's not your fault, this is how our life is designed, to pull us in all sorts of different directions. It's like everything is rigged against an individual to distract her from doing something meaningful in life. FOMO, fear of missing out,  if I focus on one thing I will miss out on so many other opportunities. It is an anxiety that an exciting, or interesting event may currently be happening elsewhere, that's what Instagram shows us. Right?  But do you know what's more haunting than FOMO? Incompetence. The feeling that you are not living life to the fullest. Fighting with resistance and distraction is hard, but You are not alone in this. I am with you and we have David Allen's book and his system Getting Things Done, aka the GTD method to guide us in this world where attention is new currency. If I only observe my thoughts then where does the manifestation exist? For example, how is “Think and Grow Rich” possible?2. Valentine's Day Special Episode With Saayad Ashok

This year we have decided we won't give any gifts to each other.  Welcome,If we can't give each other some expensive gifts like a dream house or a car, then there is no point spending hard-earned $20 $50 on some perishable items. We want to save for our financial freedom. And it can save money for vacations because experiences are always better than stuff. That doesn't mean I am anyway against Valentines' day or romantic gestures. Most of the relationships around us are situationships and people are highly cynical about proposing a girl, to go on a date, and doing things together. People think it's lame. The most amazing thing is when two people in a relationship get cynical about love itself. Cynicism has developed as a coping mechanism in people. Most of them don't have a relationship, and one who has it, feels “this is not what I want”. Something is missing.  I am missing some big gestures and expensive gifts in my relationship. This has been my complain in all my past situationships. This brings me back to my present man, this was another situationship. He proposed to me when I asked him to, but I don't remember any expensive gifts. He did have big gesture situations, however - when he surprised me with cakes and gifts on a movie set, I was working; million years ago. So, not exactly lame.  The decision to not giving each other any cheap gifts sounds like I have given up. I know it's never going to happen; I would let go of the hope altogether.  However, in this 6-7 year, our relationship has grown at a compound rate. It has turned from a situationship to a soulmate situation.  The sexiest thing about him is, he is very self-sufficient. I don't think I could stand a guy who can't cook or clean behind himself, though it would have been more fun to have a man in life who had housekeepers to do that.  Since we have agreed upon our common goals, we feel we have developed the strongest and the most secure place for both of us. He is not only self-sufficient practically, but also, emotionally and mentally. I can talk to him about any other man that hit on me, my ex's and my present crushes. Last year, a man gave me a Michael Kors purse as a gift for no reason, I told him, we both were like that's great we got an expensive purse for free. In most relationships, this could have been a reason for a huge fight. We both knew how insignificant the other person was, who knew I was committed but wanted to impress me with an expensive gift.  What if someone desirable had given it to me? He would have reacted different. But any desirable man wouldn't force a gift to a woman. At the same time, it has been my life long complain, no one desirable gives me any attention, well, it's a topic of another…. The ideal man shown in the movies are either rich with all the money and people in place to do whatever the girl wanted, or romantic roadside Romeo who does nothing but impresses the girl. My relationship with my partner is a balance between the two. He has a potential and desire to become soothing big and at the same time the romantic naivety. The fact that we are growing together is the beauty of our relationship. We shouldn't pressure our hardworking men to perform the way the hero performs in the movies. Our men and women work hard all day and provide for the family. Amidst all, whatever they can do for each other should be highly appreciated. Having said that none of us should give up on romance, it shouldn't turn into a rose without fragrance and food without the flavor.

Romantic Relationships and Its effects on Personal Brand

Do you think your romantic relationships are messing up with your personal branding,  career, and business? Watch the video to find out. Romantic relationships closely affect our process to build our personal brand. They impact us emotionally, mentally and physically.3:08 The red flags start.1. Feeling confused in a relationshipYou are either happy or not. Period. If you have to figure out what is happening in your relationship every day, then it's a red flag. It's even exhausting. You are either appreciated or not. And you will know if you are appreciated. If you feel someone is not appreciating you, then trust your feelings. This applies to not only romantic relationships but all the other kinds of relationships. There is something called ancient wisdom that all of us have. That's our guts, the sixth sense. Never ignore it. I have wasted most of my 20s figuring people out while people who understood me were standing right next to me. I hope you don't waste your time as I did.2. You are consistently unhappyRed flags, in the beginning, will turn into bigger problems later. You can't rely on someone else to make you happy all the time but if you are consistently unhappy, then maybe it's the time to leave. Because you might have heard if someone is making you cry all the time, then you should ask yourself you are in a relationship with a person or an onion.3. Toxic CommunicationResearchers have shown three ways to communicate in a romantic relationship: Mutual constructive; Demand withdrawal, and Mutual Avoidance. Mutual constructive communication strengthens your relationships where couples talk about the solutions. If you are doing that, congratulations, you are doing great. Demand withdrawal is when one criticizes, and another always has to explain themselves. And one person always avoids communication. It's a very significant red flag. Mutual avoidance is when you are happy at the moment, but there is always an underlined anxiety that there is something unsaid, and you are not talking to each other about that. That is when two people, slowly, grow apart.4. You are the one putting all the effortsThis point is self-explanatory. So, I'm gonna stop here. (chuckle) Nope, I'm not. There is no certain way you can measure the amount of effort both of you put into your relationship. But, if you are the one who is always open to communication and the other person is not; the other person always focuses on the problems and not the solutions, and tests you constantly, then it's a red flag too.5. They only appreciate your ideal selfThis hits me home the deepest. I come out as this confident, focused, and put-together woman with the leadership attributes, but I am a human being with flaws. And when someone appreciates only the fearless persona of mine, but not when I am vulnerable, I should definitely see the red flag. I stayed in the relationship longer than I should have when I wasn't appreciated for who I was. I hope you are not doing the same. As the saying goes, “If you don't love me at my worse, then you do not deserve me at my best.”6. ValuesIt's a huge word. First of all, you should define your values and if your values don't align with theirs, then you may not wanna stay in the relationship. RUN!!! Or, CHASE THEM AWAY… Psych to go. It's full of relationship advice and all the other psychological contents.https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=psych2goWork with me - https://www.facebook.com/pg/samunakcc/services/?ref=page_internalFor more please go to- www.samunakc.com

Do I Need A Therapist or A Life Coach

How to know if you need a therapist or a life coach?  And how it's important for personal branding.Work with me- https://www.facebook.com/pg/samunakcc/services/?ref=page_internalThe Personal Branding Podcast- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-samuna-kc-podcast/id1492117119?i=1000462222892For more www.samunakc.comIn a nutshell, therapy is when you go to the therapist's room and talk about your past and in life coaching, you plan your future and work towards it. Personal Branding is a tool to achieve those goals that you set during the life coaching sessions. You set goals in the sessions with your life coach. Then work on a step by step process to achieve those goals. Your coach keeps you accountable to do the things you need to do in order to achieve your goals. Now you have made peace with your past, and know what you gonna do in the future, that's when personal branding comes in. That's where you wanna package yourself, your business and idea so that you will be able to communicate better and people will understand.I started going into therapy since I was a teenager. I had this HUGE BREAKUP and I was hurting so much. Luckily, one of my very good friends introduced me to therapy. Recently, I casually mentioned my therapy sessions, with my girlfriends. We were on a conference call and one of them went silent for about a minute. I said ‘hello' a few times. Then she quietly said, “Yes, I'm here and listening,” but in an utter shock. I asked, “Why?” She said, “First of all, don't believe you go to the therapy. And you are sharing about it in a group chat?” I replied, “Yes.” I looked somehow put together, that doesn't mean I don't need counseling. As a matter of fact, I had my shits somehow together because of those counseling sessions. And there is no way I have everything figured out. It's a process. The point is, therapy is still a taboo in Nepal, and even in the United States. I haven't experienced South Asians talking about therapy openly. I was fortunate enough to get started early. Ever since I am in and out of therapy several times. It is similar to the routine annual physical checkup. We need to get our mental, emotional state examined regularly to make sure everything is functioning right.Recently, I have started my journey with a life coach. I figured out what my goals have been, what I was doing right or wrong. There are some big goals I wanna achieve in the coming decade. We broke down the goals into small actionable steps so that I wouldn't choke into the big piece of reality. My coach is keeping me accountable to make sure I achieve my goals in the coming decade. Talking about a decade, I have done my decade-in-review in episode 3. Please listen to it, which may help you to look back into your past and learn from it as well.I am not a life coach, let alone a therapist. I am a personal branding consultant. I can work with you to build your brand online. The idea is, you should be able to promote yourself, your art, products, and services on your own. Personal autonomy is a great quality to develop. It helps you to connect and collaborate. If you are thinking about going into therapy, your insurance should cover it. Many non-profit organizations offer it for free. If you are into school, your school must have some kind of counseling services as well. Comparatively, life coaching is a little expensive. It is still considered to be a luxury. You can google for them. Almost all of them offer a free first session. You should take advantage of it, regardless of wherever you live because most of the services are online. Life coaching is one investment you can make on yourself that gives you the highest ROI (Return on Investment).

During the initial days on Amazon, they had only 10 people in their team and they were doing packaging on the floor. And because they had to do it on the floor, they had to kneel down and because of that, their knees hurt. And Bezos said, let me order some knee pads. Well… since Amazon was in their initial phase I am not sure if they could order it from Amazon. Well! Bezos said I wanna buy some knee pads, but someone else in the team, who was apparently smarter than Bezos, said, “why don't we buy a big table? We can do our packaging on the table.” Then they bought a table and become more productive.Anytime you think you can do more but there are some limitations you wanna invest in your business and hire someone in your team. Also, if you don't enjoy doing something but it's necessary for your business you wanna add someone in your team, for example, I don't enjoy SEO, but it's essential for any online business, that is when I hired the SEO person. Then I hired a web developer, my very good friend Jordon Reynold. I ask you not to build a website until and unless you have a product and service to sell. This sounds like a no brainer but whenever we think about doing something online, we think about building a website. But you can work with a free template that is available on sites like Word Press, Wix, and square space to build your brand and online presence. But keep posting blogs. It's again a great long-term investment. And share it on social media that can bring some attention to your website and your brand. Even if you wanna have a landing page, and collect emails, you can do it through the free services like mail chimp. There are other similar free apps that can help you to expand your online presence and personal branding for free. Talking about expanding, whenever you feel you can achieve more but feeling some kind of resistance and don't understand what to do and how to break through your limitations, you wanna hire a life coach. In the next episode, I am going to explain in detail the difference between the coach and the therapist. So please stay tuned. I hired a life coach through another app called Thumbtack. I work with him every week. During the sessions, I came up with the idea for the business. Sessions after sessions, my brand and purpose became specific. You might have heard of the book “The Four-Hour Work Week.” Four Hour Work Week! Another make money and get a rich quick scheme. I was skeptical. But recently I read it. It's the first book on online business that I read, is full of actionable steps. Actually, step by step process to build an online business. Theories without actionable steps are like a chicken without the head. This mus

    1. What is a personal brand? Find out your niche. Breaking through an obsolete idea of who I am supposed to be and challenging the status quo was something I always did. Now I am learning to do it purposefully.Book a session with me - https://www.facebook.com/pg/samunakcc/servicesAre there any similarities between you and a can of Coke?  Can you package and sell yourself? Is it even morally right to package one's self and sell it? Is ‘sell' the right word? Do you want to have a legacy and impact? Why the hell is a personal brand so important? how we don't see through the status quo and second, women can do business too. DUH!2) Why a personal brand is important? Is there any problem in the world that you want to solve? Do you have a business? Are you looking for a brand ambassador or an influencer to create awareness around your products, services, and causes? What if you could become that influencer? That is personal branding. You become the face of your business, instead of some random celebrities. The stakes are higher when YOU are the face of your brand. It shows your commitment to the value you provide. It means you are fully invested in your cause. The ideal audience will see it, thus they will believe in you. Also, if you don't have any services offer now, focus on building your personal brand. Eventually, you will figure out what you want to do, by that time you will have an audience who know, like and trust you.3) The theory of knowledge, like and trust.Television celebrities are more impactful in a household than movie stars because television characters land in our living rooms or bedrooms every day. We see them daily and we assume to know them. Then we start liking them. Since we know and like them for a long time, we will start trusting them.4) How to figure out a personal brand?Personal branding is challenging the status quo. It's also about packaging yourself and putting yourself in front of the ideal audience.5) What is a Niche? How to find one? If you can't decide what is your niche, think about what your niche is not. What you don't do is equally significant. If you remove what you are not, the “real you” will sprout. That sprouting is your niche and you nurture that sprouting through personal branding. For more on, who I am not and the power of not knowing. Please follow this link https://samunakc.com/concepts-and-ideas/power-of-not-knowing-and-being-okay-with-it/84/6) Finding the ideal audienceLike the niche, I would start with who my audience is not. Then focus on one primary group and others on the secondary group.7) Personal branding and content creation.Start a teaser campaign for your brand online and start creating content. Your contents are your packaging. Share content via blogging, social media, and podcasting. This point deserves a separate column in and of itself because it's massively descriptive.8) The OfferLast year, when I said I want to start a website, my sister asked a difficult question, “but what is your offer?” I replied to her, “I don't know yet.” I wasn't even sure I needed one. But then I asked that question to myself every day, “What is my offer?”9) The PriceCombine your offers, give the customers some choices, give as many free samples as possible without killing the business. Generosity brings prosperity.10) Preparing the MindsetBreaking through an obsolete idea of who I am supposed to be and challenging the status quo was something I always did. Now I am learning to do it purposefully.
