Jason & the Argonauts is een film met vette stopmotion van de klassieke Griekse mythe. Een film uit 1963 en evenzeer een aanrader. De vooruitblik: Sonny wil dolgraag naar de bioscoop, hij gaat alles kijken, ook de shitty troep. Zin heeft hij voorbeeld in Fast 9. Hij was onder de indruk van de trailer van The Green Knight, wat lijkt op Arthuriaanse horror. Linda gaat zich door minimaal een aflevering van Jupiter's Legacy (Netflix) heen worstelen. De verwachting is dat het heel slecht is, maar ze wil het toch proberen. Ich glaube, dass dies für alle Beteiligten die bessere Entscheidung ist."Shadow and Bone" als Serie stand bei mir schon lange Zeit auf der Liste, nachdem ich damals den Trailer gesehen hatte. Ich war mir sicher, dass dies solide Kost werden wird, vielleicht sogar aber das zweite große Fantasy-Ding nach "The Witcher", wenn man hier "The Last Kingdon" einmal ausklammert, auf Netflix.Man könnte nun die Größe und Reichweite dieser so riesigen Story ansprechen, allerdings ist es auch, wenn man es herunterbrechen mag, doch viel einfacher. Es geht um die sogenannte Flour, eine Art dunkle und magische Sphäre, die voll von dämonenartigen Wesen, oder was auch immer diese sein mögen, die eine Bedrohung oder eben ein Machtinstrument darstellen könnte. Nun soll es jedoch die Zerstörung dieser schwarzen Wolke geben, herbeigeführt durch eine gewisse Heldenfigur. Es kommt jedoch alles etwas anders, als erwartet.Diese Serie ist in jeglicher Hinsicht anders und irgendwie auch neuartig. Die Stimmung, Drehbücher, schauspielerisches Können, gute musikalische Untermalung, gutes Pacing usw. stimmt hier einfach, auch wenn hier NOCH kein Meisterwerk vorliegt.
