Dreamcatcher is a seven-member multinational girl group that debuted in 2017.  Their name, inspired by the Native American talisman "dreamcatcher," reflects their unique concept.  The group incorporates it into album logos and artwork that match each concept.  Known for fast-tempo dance music based on rock/metal and a strong storyline, Dreamcatcher is beloved by international idol fans for their dark concepts.  They are recognized as a top-tier group for their stable live performances, even while executing highly challenging choreography.  Most notably, the group successfully renewed their contracts after surpassing the “7-year curse,” cementing their place as a long-lasting idol group. With distinct storylines such as "악몽 (Nightmare)" and "Dystopia," they've earned the title "Masters of Universe Storytelling" and, with each comeback, showcase stunning performances, earning the nickname "Stage Masters."  Let's dive into Dreamcatcher's music!Today's playlist1. (If you haven't read her books yet: WE BEG YOU.)   If you're looking for good places to start in the Tessa Bailey universe, try It Happened One Summer, Chase Me, and her latest, The Au Pair Affair. She also has an absolutely tremendous TikTok.   Tessa's Thingies include cleansing wipes for her nose piercing, avocados, Blistex, GXVE by Gwen Stefani's Liquid Lipstick, Merit (specifically the cream blush and the highlight stick) "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" by Taylor Swift, the RedHanded podcast, and Apotheke's Earl Grey Candle.   Her first romance read was Hidden Fires by Sandra Brown.   Ahead of Tessa's appearance, we talk LMNT's Watermelon Salt flavor (thanks Nikki Ogunnaike!), romcoms in action movie clothing, and a London stuffie report (Paddington was there, and we found a Miffy x Liberty London collaboration we didn't know we needed).   What's your favorite Tessa Bailey book? Jerome Flood is the founder of FloodGeight and a drummer who has mastered the art of drumming. Believe it or not? It all started with skipping class.    This master beat keeper boasts accolades such as drumming for Crowder and winning Guitar Center's 20th annual Drum-Off that pitted him against over 6,000 other drummers. Like so many musicians who has achieved startling success at a young age, for Jerome, it started with a dream and a relentless work ethic to pursue it.    On this episode of Trevor Talks, you'll hear about that path, as well as about his band FloodGeight's new track “Chase Me.” You'll also hear about some of the surprising ways Trevor and Jerome's paths have been similar, and how it (unsurprisingly for longterm listeners) involved metalcore!   Stream “Chase Me” from FloodGeight: https://open.spotify.com/track/3DtBmeQuHDNlpePSBIg4cg?si=4b357e710b594f7a    This show is sponsored by lifeaudio: https://www.lifeaudio.com/   If you're struggling and in need of additional support, visit: HeartSupport Death2Life Teen Hopeline Beneath the Skin To Write Love On Her Arms   Follow FloodGeight: Instagram Facebook Spotify   For more Trevor Talks: CLICK HERESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

If you experience conflict with your partner, it means something is wrong, right? But did you know for every five positive interactions, you need to have one negative interaction? This has been shown to be a minimum requirement for a successful, happy relationship. And when you have conflict, do you believe you need to fix the problem? But did you know 69% of problems don't actually get resolved? In long-term relationships, these problems go unsolved because they are based on the differences in who they are as a person. Believing there shouldn't be any conflict in your relationship, and if there is conflict you need to solve it, are two of the most common relationship myths. And in this Deep Dive Musing, I debunk them both, as well as provide you with a clear understanding as to why they are myths and how to actually navigate through the two to ensure your relationship thrives. I believe art is a technology. And when we create art, it becomes a catalyst for our own evolution and growth. The process of creating forces us to face off with so much of ourselves, from our fears, our doubts, and our limitations. But this face-off presents us with two choices: Do we work through what we're facing or do we allow it to stop us?   In this Deep Dive Musing, I've broken down the artistic process into the five D's you must venture through in order to not only emerge with art but also emerge as a higher more expanded version of who we're here to be. Ultimately, I describe how sticking to the process can become a personal development time capsule and how this process has gown through me when creating my latest single, Chase Me.    Before tuning in, I highly recommend checking out my song, Chase Me, first to give you more context as to what I'm discussing in this Deep Dive musing. We all are climbing the mountain we think that will make us the happiest. But how do ensure we don't get to the top of our “summit” and realize we aren't fulfilled? How do we ensure we are living a life that is so deeply connected to ourselves, those around us, and our real purpose that we actually enjoy the journey along the way? How do we ensure once we get to the top, we feel actually feel the sense of fulfillment we have been working for?   Most of us don't realize how disconnected we are from everything around us, including ourselves. We either live subconsciously or live purposefully in avoidance of what is. So how do we release the avoidance and live more consciously?   In this episode of the Deep Dive, I'm joined by mind and body alignment expert, Aaron Alexander, who discusses how to dive into your physical body to create a deeper connection with yourself and others. New Single  “I Miss You” Debuts at #30 on the Billboard UAC Chart!   Once upon a time there were many great self-contained R&B and funk groups, innovative, immensely popular artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, War, The Meters, The Commodores, Kool & The Gang, Lakeside, Slave and many others who created a body of work in the 70s and 80s that still thrills audiences today.   ConFunkShun was one of the successful bands in this wave, scoring 25 chart hits between 1976 and their break-up in 1987, including such smash hits as “Ffun,” “Chase Me,” “Electric Lady,” “Baby I'm Hooked” and others—many of which have been liberally sampled by the hip-hop generation. When the band re-united with lead vocalists/songwriters Michael Cooper and Felton Pilate, after more than two decades apart, they were welcomed back by their fans as they toured nationally to adoring crowds. Not content to ride on their past hits, they began writing and recording new material which they found got great response in concert. Their highly anticipated new CD and Shanachie debut MORE THAN LOVE (April 28, 2015) is the band's first new studio album in more than two decades. Their new music finds ConFunkShun as irresistible as ever. Comprised of some of the most soulful, seasoned and respected musicians on the scene, ConFunkShun is: Michael Cooper (Lead vocals, guitar, keys), Felton Pilate (Lead vocals, trombone, keys), EQ/Eric Young (bass), Karl Fuller (trumpet, flugelhorn), KC/Kurt Clayton (keys, vocals), Ron Moton  (sax, vocals) and Brian Collier (drums).

(RIGHT CLICK THE IMAGE TO SAVE THIS EPISODE TO YOUR COMPUTER) A new Case File focuses on actor, voiceover artist, and professional whistler Guerin Barry.  Guerin talks about his role on The Bionic Woman as the voice of the Alex 7000 computer in the episode, "Doomsday is Tomorrow".  In addition, he talks about his time with the group Sha Na Na, his appearances in various movies and television shows, his career as a professional whistler, plus a whole lot more. Comment on the episode here or write abionicpodcast@gmail.com. Guerin Barry was born in Manhattan and raised in Sunnyside Queens. He went Brooklyn Technical High School and then attended Pratt Institute for architecture. But left to go to work at a radio station in Vermont. From there, he went to Boston to study acting at the Leland Powers School of Radio, Television, and Theatre. By the time he finished acting school he was married and had a son and became a film editor for prominent Boston TV news station, WBZ. His TV work continued in New York as a producer and director for six years before he returned to acting and studied with Milton Katselas while working at an advertising agency. He ultimately moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 1975 to pursue acting full-time. Stage work led to work in commercials (he famously embodied the character of the Mercury Grand Marquis) and supporting roles in movies and guest-starring roles in television (Quincy, Simon & Simon, Step by Step), including the soft-soaked voice of "Alex 7000," the Master Computer who gives who threatens to destroy the world unless Jaime Sommers can stop him in the sensational Bionic Woman two-parter, "Doomsday Is Tomorrow." Guerin's unique voice talent also gave life to the original Dr. Theopolis in the iconic Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. He was even up for the voice of K.I.T.T. in Knight Rider but lost to William Daniels. He was also the unseen voice of the "Salem Strangler" on the popular daytime soap, Days of Our Lives. In the 80s, Guerin started a 50s band and played locally for six years, which led to an additional four years touring the globe with the acclaimed 50s rock and roll group, Sha Na Na. When he returned to Hollywood, he focused heavily on voiceover work. He's recorded a dozen audio books, and he's also found himself in the peculiar field of talking toys, for which he is the voice of thousands. Recognized as a "Professional Whistler," Guerin has whistled for many composers of TV, documentary and feature film music, promo music, music libraries and pop recordings. He also whistles live with jazz musicians. He is "On Pitch and On Time." He has whistled for the TV series, LA Law, episode titled "Whistle Stop." He is the only polyphonic whistler in the world, capable of producing two, specific and different notes at the same time. Guerin's voice can also be heard in the popular video games, War of Warcraft and Starcraft. He's appeared in Reeve Carney's music video for "Love Me, Chase Me." And he's currently the deep bass voice of the Doo-Wop group, Dukes of DooWop.
