Seven and a half years. Over 300 interviews. Countless solo episodes. And now, it feels like the podcast is ready for its next chapter. In this episode, I share a preview of where the show is heading, why podcasting continues to feel like the most authentic way to connect, and how I've been rethinking what truly matters in the content I create.I take you behind the scenes of the rebrand currently underway with new cover art and fresh interviews already recorded, while reflecting on the balance between saying “yes” to opportunities and protecting your energy. I also share a powerful quote that has reshaped how I view time and priorities.Together, we'll explore the importance of knowing when to move quickly with intention, when to slow down and create space, and how to avoid the “anxious middle” that leaves us feeling stuck. Plus, I'll highlight why I consistently invest 10% of my revenue into events and masterminds, and how that commitment has elevated both my business and mindset. What you'll learn in this episode:Why podcasting still feels like the deepest, most authentic way to connectHow to know when it's time to reimagine your creative projectsThe “52 pick up” method I use for weekly goal-settingWhy September energy can make us overcommit (and how to check yourself before you say yes)The difference between going fast, going slow, and getting lost in the anxious middle KEY TAKEAWAYSStop loving in the Anxious MiddleYour Business doesn't have to look like everyone else's Isolation kills businessIt's okay to rebrand and evolveBoundaries create freedomTIME STAMPS[04:23] The “seven-year itch” and reflecting on the podcast's evolution[08:00] Weekly goal-setting with the “52 Pickup Method”[11:40] Behind-the-scenes of the rebrand process[16:09] Saying “hell yes” vs learning to say no[19:14] Join our WAVE Elora In-Person Event[22:12] The importance of in-person events & communities[25:29] Why you can't build a business alone[28:19] Going fast vs going slow in work and lifeMENTIONED IN THE EPISODE: The 52 Pick UpWAVE EloraCONNECT WITH KELSEY Thanks for tuning into this episode. If your traffic fell off a cliff after recent Google updates and AI answers, you're not alone—especially if you're a recipe, YMYL (Your Money or Your Life), or niche blogger who used to win with long posts and ads. But SEO isn't dead—it's evolved. In my latest Blogger Genius Podcast episode, I'm talk to SEO strategist, Steven Schneider, who breaks down exactly how creators can still win in 2025: build visible authority, earn strategic backlinks, improve UX, and shift revenue toward newsletters and products. Show Notes: MiloTree Free Plan Steven Schneider 6 Purchasing Triggers Test Join The Blogger Genius Newsletter Become a Blogger Genius Facebook Group Subscribe to the Blogger Genius Podcast: iTunes YouTube Spotify The Problem Creators Are Facing in 2025 AI is answering queries and compressing clicks—brutal for “quick-answer” niches like recipes. Google is rewarding authority (E-E-A-T) and punishing thin UX (endless scroll, intrusive ads, fluff). Old playbooks (publish more posts, stuff in keywords, hope for ad RPM) don't move the needle. Solution in a sentence: Treat search like a brand + authority channel, not a traffic lottery. Build proof of expertise on every page, earn real mentions/links, and turn all attention into owned audiences and product revenue. What's Working Now (According to Steven) 1) Authority > everything Add clear E-E-A-T signals on every post and key page (not just your About page): Real author byline + headshot 2–3 credential links (culinary school, certifications, LinkedIn) Awards/press mentions (linked) Concise author bio block on each post This helps Google and readers trust that a human expert wrote it. 2) Backlinks with intent (no spray-and-pray) Guest on podcasts (links in show notes = high-quality, relevant). Offer expert quotes to other bloggers/journalists; pitch quick 2–3 sentence tips they can drop in with a link. Vary anchor text (brand, URL, topical phrases) and use reciprocal links sparingly. Paying for “time” vs “links” is a gray area—be selective and ethical. 3) UX that respects the reader Stop the 4,000-word detours; give the answer fast and add optional depth. Keep one H1 per page, logical H2/H3s, strong internal linking, and basic schema hygiene. Recipes/how-to: lead with the steps; put the story below. 4) BOFU content (not just top-of-funnel) Steven's agency prioritizes bottom-of-funnel, high-intent topics that convert to leads or sales—because SEO must tie to revenue. 5) Newsletter > ad RPM Clicks are down, but email still converts. Build a free newsletter, nurture weekly, and sell your own offers (ebooks, mini-courses, templates, memberships). 7-Step Action Plan (Do this in the next 14 days) Add E-E-A-T blocks site-wide Byline, headshot, 2–3 credential links, “Reviewed by” where relevant. Fix on-page structure One H1, clean headings, scannable sections, strong internal links among related posts. Create one “wow” asset (lead magnet or calculator) Examples: Gluten-free flour swap chart (instant, high-value) Meal-prep planner (fillable PDF) ROI/Cost calculator (tools get links + emails) Pitch 10 podcasts in your niche Offer 3 topic angles, a short bio, and a value-packed outline; request a site link in show notes. Run a “quote outreach” sprint Identify 25 relevant posts; email the author a ready-to-paste 2–3 sentence expert tip + your preferred link target (vary anchors). Publish 3 BOFU posts Bottom-of-funnel queries aligned to your product (e.g., “Meal-prep templates,” “Gluten-free baking guide PDF,” “One-hour blogging audit”). Launch or revive your newsletter Weekly format: 1 tip, 1 tool, 1 template. Soft-pitch your product/freebie in each send. Make This Easy (and Free) with MiloTree With the MiloTree Free Plan, you can: Sell one digital product (ebook, template, workshop replay) Offer a freebie/lead magnet with automatic delivery Add a social pop-up to grow followers while you sleep Spin up AI-generated pages (sales + opt-in) in minutes

His story's a raw reminder to keep it human in the grind, blending pro tips with a nudge to rethink email and your own well-being.Marketing Vs The World is produced by Urban Podcasts.
Every mother knows the deep impact her words can leave on her child's heart. A single phrase spoken in anger — “You make my life so difficult” or “You're the most terrible child” — can echo for years, carving doubt and pain into a child's sense of self. And the truth is, no mother wants to pass on shame, trauma, or harshness to her children. We want to nurture them, raise them with love, and model patience and compassion. But in the heat of the moment, anger can feel uncontrollable. So where do we even begin? What's the very first step to breaking this cycle and showing up with the calm, gentle presence we long to embody? In this episode, I share a simple but powerful reminder: every emotion first shows up in your body. Stress, anger, even joy — they all leave physical traces, whether it's tense shoulders, clenched jaws, shallow breathing, or that racing heartbeat you know so well. Learning to listen to these whispers of your body before they turn into screams of exhaustion, burnout, or regret is the doorway to emotional regulation. We'll explore:- Why ignoring your body's signals leads to emotional outbursts.- Practical ways to ground yourself in the moment — from releasing your jaw to dropping your shoulders.- How stress doesn't just “live in your head” but is carried in your body.- The spiritual truth that your body is an amanah (trust) from Allah, and caring for it is part of your responsibility.- How regulating yourself is the foundation for co-regulating with your children, because children cannot regulate on their own without you. This is not about perfection. It's about starting small, with self-awareness, and building the tools to respond with patience rather than react in anger. Because when you learn to honor your body and regulate your emotions, you don't just change your own experience—you transform the emotional world your children grow up in.✨ Want to go deeper? Check out my Peaceful Mother Masterclass — a powerful, bite-sized training that shows you how to recognize stress in your body before it spills out onto your kids. https://www.toddlertarbiyah.com/the-peaceful-mother.Connect with Me!

Today I interview Bella Rose Mortel, a social media strategist and creative copywriter known for building authentic, high-impact digital brands. Currently at beehiiv, she leads content + strategy across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram and other platforms, blending strategy with storytelling to drive growth and engagement. With a background at Workweek and Morning Brew, plus her own Gen Z–focused newsletter The Personality Hire, she's passionate about making B2B content feel human, relevant, and genuinely fun.In this interview, we discuss the critical importance for creators to "own their audience" through an email newsletter, as social media platforms can be unreliable due to algorithm changes or potential bans. Bella Rose highlights beehive's key differentiators from competitors like Substack, including its 0% cut on paid subscription revenue (only Stripe fees apply), a built-in ad network that offers sponsorship opportunities with no minimum subscriber count (even for those with as few as 100 subscribers), and a new fully integrated website builder. The discussion also covers beehiiv's tools designed to make content creation easier, such as AI writing assistance and various newsletter and website templates, emphasizing its role as an all-in-one platform to simplify growing and monetizing a content business. Bella Rose also shares insights from her dual perspective as a newsletter creator and social media strategist, explaining how newsletters foster a deeper connection with an intentional audience compared to the passive scrolling on social media, and offering practical advice on managing multiple social platforms.Find Bella Rose:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/bellarosemortel/Newsletter: The Personality Hire - https://bella-roses-newsletter.beehiiv.com/t/lifestyle Find beehiiv:Web: https://www.beehiiv.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/beehiiv/ Sign Up for The Weekly Email Roundup: NewsletterLeave a Review: Apple PodcastsFollow Me on Instagram: @danielhillmedia

In this episode, I'm diving deep into how you can use artificial intelligence strategically in your veterinary marketing. AI is changing the game for practices everywhere, but I want to make sure you're not just using it to crank out generic content. Instead, I'll show you how to treat AI like a junior marketing employee — someone who needs your guidance, your brand's unique voice, and a clear strategy to really make an impact. We'll talk about why it's so important to lead with strategy before you ever open up an AI tool, and I'll share my favorite platforms and integrations that can save you time and help you get better results. Throughout the episode, I'll walk you through five high-impact ways to use AI in your practice, from brainstorming content ideas and drafting posts, to repurposing your best material, doing quick research, and even creating custom images. I'll give you practical frameworks for crafting effective AI prompts, so you get content that actually sounds like you and resonates with your clients. Plus, I'll highlight some of the most common mistakes I see practices making with AI like relying on it for strategy or publishing unedited, off-brand content and show you how to avoid them. By the end of this episode, you'll have a clear roadmap for using AI as a force multiplier in your marketing, not just a shortcut. I'll challenge you to put these ideas into action right away by drafting and sending out a newsletter with AI's help then tracking your results and refining your approach. If you're ready to stand out in an AI-driven world and grow your practice with smarter, more authentic marketing, this episode is for you!

“I think if your focus with marketing is always how can you solve a problem for people, then you can do a lot of good because people are always going to be struggling with something so if you come up with a solution to that and offer it to the audience and figure out how to communicate that to them… then you can do a world of good.” - Beth Moncel Beth Moncel founded Budget Bytes in 2009 as a way to slash her own grocery bills while still eating well during a financially difficult time. In this episode, Kelsey is joined by Dr. Rachel Corradetti-Sargeant to explore a topic that's rarely discussed on the Visionary Life Podcast but incredibly important, fertility especially for high-achieving women balancing business and family goals. Drawing from over a decade of experience as a naturopathic doctor specializing in fertility, Dr. Rachel shares the realities many women face when trying to conceive, the common challenges like PCOS and thyroid imbalances, and how stress and modern lifestyles factors play a crucial role. We unpack the myth that “women can do it all” without consequences and dive into how timing, understanding your cycle, and environmental toxins impact fertility. Dr. Corradetti-Sargeant shares practical advice on how to navigate this journey without overwhelm, emphasizing self-compassion over perfection. For entrepreneurs and busy women, this episode is a reminder that while ambition is vital, so is listening to your body, setting non-negotiable wellness habits, and seeking the right support when you need it. Whether you're just starting to think about family or deep in the process, Rachel's wisdom offers clarity and hope.
