If You Have Ghosts You Have Everything...

And.....we are back! Season 4 of If You Have Ghosts You Have Everything... starts now. On today's episode I recount some synchronicities in my life over the past few weeks. From my visit to George Washington's Mount Vernon to Pine Lake Indiana and then a visit to the grave of Indiana's own Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon fame. The past few weeks have been interesting. Forgive my voice on a few of these recordings as I was recovering from Covid on a couple of these. I should add here that the synchronicities have continued in subsequent days, including a freak mechanical incident with my truck that saw me working on the truck on Saturday morning only to look up and see a Ford Galaxie (a car of the type that Shannon once owned) rolling down the highway by the house. I hope you enjoy and please give a five star review as well as share where you can. I have been incredibly happy to see our listenership increase so dramatically since our appearance on A.I.: Applachian Intelligence and UnComftorable podcast. I will continue the Indiana/world giants stories, the Books of Enoch, Giants, and Jubilees this season and plan to work with J.J.Rose777 on a project as well. Veteran Navy Photojournalist Christian Vedder captured a photo of UAPs over Liberty, Missouri. Photo analyst Larry Tyree investigated the case and determined that the objects could not be identified. Both men are interviewed on this show.Liberty resident and veteran Navy photojournalism specialist, Christian Vedder, inadvertently captured an image of a cluster of UAPs in the skies above downtown Liberty on May 16, 2020, while snapping some pics of his classic space-inspired 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 using a smartphone. The extraordinary image, showcasing the UAPs arranged in a pattern commonly observed in numerous documented sightings, will be featured in an upcoming book titled "Earth's Unknown Inhabitants," scheduled for release this fall. The book delves into the now prevalent subject of UFOs and UAPs, shedding light on various extraordinary encounters. As public interest continues to surge, the forthcoming book will delve into the story behind the Liberty-Galaxie photograph, presenting readers with geographical and computer analyses, along with other compelling evidence compiled by longtime respected MUFON investigators, experts in the field who thoroughly examined the image and the sighting. In May 2022, Congress published a report confirming the existence of UAPs, marking a significant milestone in UFO research.According to Christian Vedder, the perception of UFOs and UAPs has evolved from being mere entertaining stories of science fiction to becoming increasingly prevalent and widely acknowledged as unexplained phenomena. As governmental entities like the Pentagon, NASA, and other military and government sources, along with whistleblowers, come forward more frequently, providing evidence that supports sightings and testimonies, a growing number of individuals are beginning to believe that we are closer than ever to uncovering the truth. In the present climate surrounding UFOs, I believe people can now disregard the typical stigma associated with such encounters and feel more at ease in documenting or reporting these uncommon yet progressively frequent experiences, ensuring they are recorded for historical reference in the future.Vedder, a passionate classic car enthusiast, has since embraced the encounter by designing a graphic re-creation that playfully exaggerates the sighting, while adopting the moniker and notoriety among other Ford Galaxie fans as the “Guardian of the Galaxie!” This playful nod to the popular Marvel movie franchise adds a touch of whimsy to his unique experience, delighting both classic car enthusiasts and UFO enthusiasts alike. Further, the car featured in another alien movie series, “Men in Black 3” was a black 1964 Ford Galaxie, where it appeared as the vehicle driven by the young ‘Tommy Lee Jones' character, portrayed by Josh Brolin, creating an intriguing parallel between science-fiction and this real-life encounter.MUFON Field Investigator Larry Tyree analyzed the photograph and determined the size of the craft. He came to the conclusion that the objects in question were not anything that could be identified, therefore, they are UAPs.This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/5231151/advertisement

American Muscle vs British Jaguars: How Ford Galaxie Crushed The Competition

British racing fans were accustomed to seeing competitive Jaguar Mk2s triumph frequently in British Saloon Car racing in the early 1960s. But on this day sixty years ago, May 11th 1963, the Ford Galaxie arrived to end the British reign at the top. When Jack Sears drove a Galaxie 500 to victory in the 1963 British Saloon Car Championship, it came as a shock to the established order. Protests and arguments ensued as American muscle destroyed the previously dominant Jags. Racing veterans Graham Hill and Sir Jack Brabham also tried their hand at driving these enormous beasts, which would struggle to slow thanks the insufficient brakes, and which were quickly upgraded before the year was out. But the point of these cars wasn't the twisty stuff, it was the enormous about of power from the 7.0 engines and seemingly endless torque. The Lotus Cortinas proved to be too quick for the big Ford V8's as the decade went on, but not before the Galaxie had cemented its place in racing history. Martyn Lee is joined by Autosport's Chief Editor Kevin Turner to look back at the impact the Galaxie's made when they arrived on these shores, and tell us more about the recent Autosport track test, when we were able to get a Jaguar Mk2, Ford Galaxie and Ford Lotus Cortina all on track at Silverstone for a special feature online and in the magazine. Everything looks better with a gothic Mexican paint job - especially when Cerberus graces the hood of a vintage Ford Galaxie aptly named The Hound. Galaxie 500 & Luna special with Dean Wareham in conversation Guitarist Dean Wareham, drummer Damon Krukowski and bassist Naomi Yang had met at the Dalton School in New York City in 1981, but began playing together during their time as students at Harvard University.Wareham and Krukowski had formed a series of punk-influenced student bands, before Wareham returned to New York. When he returned in 1987 he and Krukowski formed a new band, with Yang joining the group on bass guitar, the new group deciding on the name Galaxie 500, after a friend's car, a Ford Galaxie 500. The band began playing gigs in Boston and New York City, and recorded a demo which they sent to Shimmy Disc label boss and producer Mark Kramer, who agreed to produce the band. With Kramer at the controls, the band recorded the "Tugboat" single in February 1988, and the "Oblivious" flexi-disc, and moved on to record their debut album, Today, which was released on the small Aurora label. The band toured the United Kingdom in late 1988 and in 1989, then signed to Rough Trade and released their second album, On Fire, which has been described as "lo-fi psychedelia reminiscent of Jonathan Richman being backed by The Velvet Underground", and is considered the band's defining moment. On Fire reached number 7 in the UK Indie Chart, and met with much critical acclaim in the United Kingdom, but was less well received by the US music press, who cited Wareham's 'vocal limitations' as a weakness. Galaxie 500 recorded two sessions for John Peel's BBC Radio 1 programme, these later released on the Peel Sessions album. Their cover of Jonathan Richman's "Don't Let Our Youth Go To Waste" was also voted into number 41 in 1989's Festive 50 by listeners to the show. The band split up in the spring of 1991 after the release of their third album, This Is Our Music. Wareham, who had already moved back to New York, quit the band after a lengthy American tour. Galaxie 500's records were released in the US and UK on the independent Rough Trade label. When Rough Trade went bankrupt in 1991, Krukowski and Yang purchased the masters at auction, reissuing them on Rykodisc in 1996 as a box set containing all three albums and another disc of rarities.
