This insight episode comes from full episode eighty-one with Nejem Raheem. Nejem is an associate professor of economics at Emerson College, where he focuses on the economics of natural resource and environmental issues. Nejem speaks with Michael about the similarities between his childhood experiences in Bangladesh and Nepal and the New Mexico acequias. The two discuss their work on the acequias and the complexity of the systems based upon western codifications of water rights and the subsequent valuation given to water in the US, and how this lacks a complete valuation of the social importance of water in the acequias. Luke Guldan is a US actor who has been building up an impressive list of credits. I first talked with him in 2017 about the film ADDicted, and now welcome him back to catch up about his ventures and the new film he is in - "The Creatress" which stars Lindy Booth. Luke plays Seth, an interest of the main character. About the Creatress:The movie has its UK premiere on 4th October at the Courthouse in London’s West End.Young, bestselling author Eryn Bellow concludes her bookstore tour with her agent selling film rights and closing a six figure advance for her follow-up. Headwinds arise as critics get offended by the claims that Eryn is being declared a living literary legend. The storm gathers force as the assaults gravitate from bad reviews to a fake-memoir designed to obliterate her from the field. Through the noise, Eryn attempts to write her way out of the public fray, and reclaim her voice in the minds of her readers. Along the way, she hopes to prove a happy ending is not always a bad thing. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Today we’re going to dive into one of the single most important topics there is when it comes to building a successful business, and that is software… Choosing the right software for your business is kinda like getting married. It’s a massive decision that will serve as the foundation for your business, but if you end up making the wrong choice, and have to get a divorce from that platform and move to another one, it could literally destroy your company. As you’ll hear today, choosing the wrong technology and platforms for my businesses over the years have literally cost me millions of dollars, and almost destroyed them The most recent example of which is actually SelfMadeMan.com. When we started developing the platform, I made the wrong technology decisions, and it almost killed the company. So today I want to help you avoid the mistakes that I’ve made, and to help us navigate these waters, we’re joined by James Guldan, the founder of VisionTechTeam.com I’ve used James and his team for years to run all of my tech because they know the software platforms and tools that we rely on, inside and out… Infusionsoft, Kartra, ClickFunnels, MailChimp, Zapier, DeadlineFunnel, EverWebinar… You name it, and these guys know it. And the best part, is that they also understand marketing, and what we’re trying to accomplish as the business owner. They get split-testing, tracking, optimization, opt-ins, upsells, and everything in between because they are actually building the funnels for entrepreneurs like myself, Frank Kern, Amazing Selling Machine, and many others. This episode could literally make or break your business, so listen up, and please help me welcome James Guldan. Azeroth is being assailed again. Fel fire fills the skies. Gul'dan runs amok anew, and its up to us, Azeroth's Greatest Champions, to scour the Broken Isles, hone our skills, acquire Legendary Weapons and beat the shit out of another Orc troublemaker. In this episode, one of our hosts takes up arms and shares approximately one hours worth of gameplay as he restraps his armor, hits the repair vendor and strikes out to explore Blizzard's latest title release for its World of Warcraft franchise. Our host "Shal" decided to add another channel to our small network of podcasts to share insights on the evolving and changing landscape of the Gaming World and resubscribed for a month to explore Legion (despite misgivings). We had to wait for the "Pally Bubble" to wear off to chain him down and log in. Legion is now live and Blizzard has announced a new patch coming up that will focus on Karazhan (7.1 I think). The recent Hearthstone patch kind of nodded toward an upcoming revamp of another of Burning Crusade era content that resonated well with players at time of release and thereafter. Our host Shal recently solo'd Karazhan again and noted the larger number of players in the vicinity. Karazhan revolves around the Last Guardian of Azeroth, Medivh, and the events that took place surrounding his last apprentice, Khadgar, who is a main protagonist in both the Warlords of Draenor and Legion release(s). Grab your mount, stock up on Kungaloosh and hit the repair vendor: The Stone Turntable pulls Boss in 5, 4..... By the way: SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER Alert!!!! Ben, Addy and Case have all seen the Warcraft movie, but feel it had tons of room for improvement. The guys delve deep into what could fix this movie and what other stories to explore in Warcraft lore. Recent activity playing Heroes of the Storm Plot issues in Warcraft The “Fel” magic and the nature of Orcs The orcs are not complex enough Garona retcons Blizzard’s obsession with Orcs Casting choices The Garona “Betrayal” Case’s suggestion to make Lothar, Khadgar and Garona more interesting Ben wants the 5 man group RPG experience Addy thinks Durotan worked Case wants to move forward in the timeline since the First War, focus on Orgrim Doomhammer’s rise and Lothar leading the humans out of Stormwind The story covered in this movie should be a prologue not a whole movie China is making a sequel possible, how should this story move forward? Ben’s theory on why Warcraft resonates with China more than anyone else Thrall and Arthas movie? Addy wants Warcraft: The Animated Series and War of the Ancients and Warcraft 3 Shifting alliances and diversity Ben is disappointed there weren’t any Shamans How many different kinds of magic could they have explored in this movie?
