In part 2 of this series, Anthony talks men and emotions--two things a lot of people still don't believe should mix (*heavy sigh*)... In this episode, we help answer the question, I'm a man, help me find myself. Dr. Phil opens the lines with retired NFL play Walt Harris and Pastor Amos Lys. We hit the questions of, Why is vision so important if a man wants to be effective? How can a man get better with having a vision? What contributes to brokenness in men? How can a man overcome brokenness? Notes: WHY IS VISION SO IMPORTANT IF A MAN WANTS TO BE EFFECTIVE? A man is supposed to have a vision because others won't be able to see where he is going if he does not have a clear vision. People don't follow a gender, the follow a leader. HOW CAN A MAN GET BETTER WITH HAVING A VISION? Surround yourself with other men who have vision. Learn to ask for help. Find a mentor. Use the power of prayer. WHAT CONTRIBUTES TO BROKENNESS IN MEN? Failure to accomplish anything significant Shame factor Misalignment with God HOW CAN A MAN OVERCOME BROKENNESS? Change the old patterns to patterns Engage in prayer Be transparent Seek accountability SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 29:18 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/pro.29.18 Luke 4 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/LUK.4.NKJV John 5:6 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/jhn.5.6 Psalms 51 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.51.NKJV Links: https://www.mandmmultimedia.com/ https://www.drphilministries.org/product/navigating-defining-moments/ https://www.facebook.com/people/Jean-Amos-Lys/100011558107304 https://www.facebook.com/TherealWaltHarris https://officialproplayers.org/

Label: Columbia 45467Year: 1971Condition: M-Last Price: $10.00. Not currently available for sale. These two great Chicago tunes have an interesting history as singles. "Questions" was the group's first single, released in 1969 on Columbia 44909, and it had a much longer version of the song than on later releases. That first single only climbed as high as #71 on the pop chart. The song was re-released in an edited version (one verse missing) on this single, backed by the group's dynamite cover of "I'm A Man", and finally made it to the Top 40 1971. This is that release, and a powerful two-sided hit it was (and remains)! By the way, "I'm A Man" is also a dramatically edited version of the 7-plus-minutes LP cut. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and gorgeous, pristine Mint sound, despite clearly having been played on a jukebox (must have had a good needle!). (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)

Episode 01 - In the first episode of Pillow Talk With Bros, Joe and his guest Brian, a Music Educator in Central Nebraska, have a vulnerable conversation about what it means to be a man and how their ideas compare to what they thought it was growing up. They also dive into whether or not men should feel uncomfortable talking about masculinity, and and whether its a good or bad thing that we place so much emphasis on our identities. Drink of the Day - Joe is drinking a Cropduster Mid American IPA from Thunderhead Brewery, and Brian is drinking a Buzzard's Roost Blush from Mac's Creek Winery and Brewery.

Its boner week! It happens right after shark week, look it up. Is viagra really necessary though? A man probably has a million boners by the time hes 50-60, does he really need to keep having them? There has got to be a connection between too many boners in the elderly and voting republican. Video games aren't the cause of real life violence, unless you're a white kid (again, with too many boners) drinking energy drinks. Kids need a right of passage. Why not leave children in the mountains to make their own way home? That'll get em hyped. Jeffrey is an awful name. In 1884 during the cowboys and aliens period, the first humans snarted and out came a Jeff. Don't name your kids Jeff. If they turn out to be a serial sex offender, it'll just make things that much worse. Subscribe where you listen.

Keith Carradine a side: "I'm Easy" Henry Gibson b side: "200 Years" ABD Records ABC-12117 1975 Don't worry, I assure you the b-side is ironic. Lester Young a side: "I'm in the Mood/Big Top Blues" b side: "Rose Room" Norgran Records EP N-113 1955 Definitely digging Big Top Blues. Dwight Twilley Band a side: "I'm On Fire" b side: "Did You See What Happened?" bonus b side: "Looking for the Magic" abc XYZ YYYY What?! Crazy, I know. Two singles, two different b-sides. The latter being one for a "jukebox only" pressing from Columbia Records in 1979. It sort of reminds me of the dreaded classic rock radio trick of "Hey, Old Band You Like has new album out, let's listen to a tried and true classic of theirs you love so we don't hurt any chances they might have of selling out the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter MegaDome." All right, it isn't anything like that. Bruce Springsteen a side: "I'm On Fire" b side: "Johnny Bye Bye" Columbia Records 38-04772 1984 What?! Another Bruce Springsteen song? Oh no... what's happening to me щ(゚Д゚щ) The Blasters a side: "I'm Shakin'" b side: "No Other" Slash Records SRS-110 1981 The Blasters, like no other. The Staple Singers a side: "I'll Take You There" b side: "I'm Just Another Soldier" Stax Records STA-0125 1972 Believe it or not, I did use record cleaner but clearly this single was very much loved. The Yardbirds a side: "I'm A Man" b side: "Still I'm Sad" Epic Records 5-9857 1965 Whoah... that's a helluva choice for a b-side. The Bee Gees a side: "I've Gotta Get a Message To You" b side: "Kitty Can" ATCO Records 45-6603 1968 Ok, that b-side more than makes up for The Yardbirds b-side. "Bond Meets Solitaire" by George Martin.

Back by popular demand, we present Nick's Shit Bluetooth Headphone Review. Yes, this week Nick goes into detail on his new Apple AirPods. We reminisce about early 2000s route planning websites, cut a swathe through follow up, and pit £160 Bluetooth ear buds against £20 ones. Nick is having an identity crisis, Jon finds out if he's running the London Marathon, and we fail to find out the age of WWE legend The Undertaker. Show Notes Email us like Joe from Texas did podcast@runnerpod.com. Nick doesn't live on a trap street—his road is very big and real. You really shouldn't address things to people by their nickname. Or send stuff to their cat. Occupational surnames. The Undertaker is 52. Taker's AirPods. How do they fit in your ears? The W1 chip (we misspoke it as A5, that's a tablet/phone chip). W1 is common to AirPod and BeatsX (also Beats Solo3 and Powerbeats3). Our evergreen pic for running Bluetooth headphones: the aLLreLi Soba. VLM18 London Marathon, ballot and entry FAQs. Jon wrote an essay about how Birmingham invented the London Marathon—there are actual facts in it, it's an interesting bit of history. In a rotting, waterlogged chest at the bottom of a lake, nestled beside some weird hockey mask wearing body, we dredged up another Lost Cabin tape. In this cursed episode the crew talks about the highly anticipated (at the time) slasher killer mashup Freddy vs Jason, the first Resident Evil movie, a movie about a killer under the floorboards called Crack in the Floor, the appropriately named Cabin Fear, make some dark confessions about what happens when the crew is provided with cable television, and investigate a random ass noise which is always a good idea at a cabin in the woods at night.
This week we had a guest speaker, Jr Contreras spoke about being a man.

This is it, the big one! In this episode of the Who's He? Podcast we say farewell to Matt Smith and finally say hello to Peter Capaldi in our review of The Time of The Doctor. While everyone should just be congratulating Matt Smith on a job well done, fandom seems set to implode yet again in what is currently a very divisive episode. So what is Phil and Paul's take on matters? Will Phil revert to type and declare this the worst episode EVAH!? Will Paul take a more lenient approach? Tune in to find out what they think but rest assured that Phil (and to a certain extent Paul) get in a few barbed comments about fandoms course for self destruction. And in the news this week....STATS!! Oh, and a farewell message from Matt Smith. We also want to wish all our listeners a very Happy New Year!!
Weird airspace. We spend this week going over Hans' recent date and change in meds, go over our potential carrers in sports, take a question about a threesome, and talk about Ravishing Rick Rude for a really long time. Back by popular demand, we present _Nick's Shit Bluetooth Headphone Review_. ## Show Notes * Email us like Joe from Texas did podcast@runnerpod.com. * Nick doesn't live on a [trap street](https://gizmodo.com/the-fake-places-that-only-exist-to-catch-copycat-cartog-1695414770)—his road is very big and real. * [You really shouldn't address things to people by their nickname.
